We had a deluxe room. It was big enough and clean. The furniture may certainly be replaced, but were ok. The bathroom was also alright and clean. Towels were really only changed, if you the bathtub put. The beds were a catastrophe. One had the feeling in a mountain and valley countryside to beach chairs. Here would be in need of a new mattress needed! The balcony was nice and big, with a daybed, a table and two chairs.

The breakfast is with other 4 star hotels in Thailand comparable. There is really something for everyone. In the restaurant it was, as on the whole hotel, very clean. There is still another beach restaurant for lunch and dinner. We booked this didn't use it, since outside delicious and cheaper food. You could eat lunch at the beach with a thai couple delicious food. The papaya salad is great! Here there was also fresh mango, papaya and many more.

The hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help. English is well understood and spoken. During our stay there was also a german hotel staff. Our room was daily thoroughly cleaned. There was nothing to criticize. We had no complaints. Can thus nothing say.

The larger pool was located in the middle of the hotel. Beach chairs and umbrellas are sufficiently available. The 2. the pool area is located right at the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas were also plentiful. Very nice the 'liegesäcke'! However the loungers very close together and are already a bit dated. It would have been nice a little more space. The loungers may a completely renewal. The gym was okay. But would be a 2. treadmill not bad.

The bandara is a nice and well-maintained hotel, really a bit dated. Four stars are our opinion just ok. The garden is beautiful and very well maintained. There are several 2-3 storey building, and villas. The villas are more to the beach located. Wi-fi is almost everywhere available. During our stay were lots of guests from Germany and Scandinavia. Also a few a few russian vacationers in the hotel.

The hotel is directly at the beach and it is only a few minutes walk to the fisherman's village. There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Every friday is' walking street ' with its countless dining and getränkständen and much more. Tasty cocktails there are already for 50-60 Bhat. Directly opposite the hotel is a family mart. Atm, / scooter rental and massage parlours are also nearby. Only drawback the location is the very heavily driven ring road. Who likes it somewhat more calmly, should definitely the deluxe room. These are not to the street. In the hotel you can hear no noise from the street.

The rooms are big enough and with dark furniture and (in our room) parquet floors the condition the furniture was good. The wardrobe offers too few storage space. Otherwise: kettle coffee, tea, coffee machine, tv (Deutsche Welle), dvd player with sound system-everything, which one (often only rain) needs. Nice large terrace, on the also with rains dry.

The restaurant below of the lobby offers a good choice, fresh fruit, egg dishes, type. English fare and asian dishes-here be satisfied. The coffee comes from coffee full automats and should therefore all coffee drinkers taste. The beach -restaurant directly on the beach we also visited, as the prices not much of the restaurants outside differences. (thai dishes from 180 thb, pizza 250 thb, singha 105 thb) there is for a small lunch at the beach also burgers, pizza, and a snack menu at the beach bar. Next to the beach bar there was a pool bar and the lobby bar, with different happy hour offers.

The staff are consistently friendly and accommodating, like it Thailand is used. With english one comes really good clear. Now and then it took on the beach-or lobby bar a with the service - also the quality the cocktails is different-the better cocktails you got at the beach bar! Straight to happy hour (beach bar 16:30-19 and 21:30-23 hours) you can here one or another drinks taste. Room cleaning was basically reasonable. However, we have every day a different number of towels-possibly a towel was always missing. After a short call was however immediately. In the hotel there are in the late afternoon a turn-down service, with the beach towels for the next day on the rooms disclosed.

There is a huge 40-metre-long main pool in the beautiful garden area and two pools directly at the beach. The entertainment is very discreet-there were offers, but that hardly be realized. (for example yoga) water sports, such as kayaking, windsurfing and catamaran is available free of charge. Beach chairs and umbrellas are sufficiently available. By wind and weather and partly a bit run down - here you can certainly help. Thick cushions allow comfortable relaxation.

We have the bandara resort and spa, from 18,09.-30.09. Visited and a deluxe room in the upper floor received. Over the size and condition the hotel has already reported in detail-we have the positive opinion agree with. Well-kept complex, manageable ways, mixed nationalities (germans, austrians, australians, russians, spanish-yes, even greeks can relax here from the malaise of the country). Lots of young couples or honeymooners!

Hotel right on the beautiful bo phut beach, the not very crowded, and where you can also bathe by ebb tide (in comparison to many other beaches the island). The water was unfortunately cloudily, but it was clean and we had no encounters with jellyfish. Directly in front of the hotel the ring-road, but is not disturbing. Here there was everything for the day-to-day needs (family mart), some restaurants and travel agents on the road and the recommended peace spa on the other side of the road. The fishermans village over the beach. Here there are a lot of restaurants for any taste. The prices are some of the restaurants on the price of the bandara restaurants. Here is worthwhile a comparison, because often are 'outside' still service and taxes due, the bandara restaurant already are inkludiert. We stayed in the twelve days of our stay almost daily in the hotel good and relatively cheap to lunch or dinner eat there.

When booking the room one can between three categories select-standard, deluxe and the pool villas. We had a deluxe room. These are in two - respectively three-storey buildings around the main pool closet. The standard rooms are direct in the main building, this is unfortunately directly at the ring road, it might therefore there might be a bit noisy. The pool villas are closer to the beach around the very well maintained garden area. The deluxe rooms are with mini bar, tv ( included dvd player for the dvds can ) and very good functioning air conditioning and of course safe equipped. The bathroom is split. The area with washbasin and bath tub with a partition from the rest of the room be separated. The area toilet and shower is completely separated from the rest. In the room there is furthermore a small desk and a chair/couch. The spacious balcony stands also a liege, as well as a table with chairs.

Breakfast in the hotel is very varied. You will find both thai specialties, as well as the classic continental breakfast with pancakes, bread, various auftstrichen (even nutella), cereal, fresh fruit, yoghurt, scrambled egg, potatoes, baked beans and much more. Also there are in the hotel a very good restaurant with european and thai kitchen. The prices are a bit higher than in the fisherman's village, but the ambiance and the quality was really good. Otherwise in the hotel there are several bars - there is always some happy hour, so you for 5 Euro 2 very tasty cocktails drink.

The hotel is very clean. Daily the rooms cleaned. Towels and bed sheets is on request also daily changed, you can take a small sign this but do. Daily also fresh fruits and drinking water in the room made available. The staff in the hotel is very polite. With English you could communicate fairly well.

There are a variety of pools in the hotel: the main pool is centrally located in the hotel area located. Around the pool there are loungers, sun screens and a bar. In addition is still another smaller pool. Then there is still the beach pool. This consists of two pools on different height and is really close to the beach located. That means you can in the pool swimming and right on the sea look. Also the pool some chairs and sunscreens arranged. Right next door is the hotel's own beach section. This is with chairs and sun screens equipped. The beach section ( like the whole Bophut beach) is very clean. Unfortunately very narrow, but sufficient. Daily one got big beach towels for the pool and which very pleasant is: in every room a beach bag ready, so that you for the beach comfortable transport can. The hotel offers different sports activities at. So you can an hour daily kayaking and windsurfing. For the windsurfing and also for the sailing are also einführungsstunden offered. To the hotel includes a diving school. In the hotel there is also a small fitness room, with everything you for a short training need is.

The bandara is a medium-sized hotel the from several buildings, pools and a beautiful garden area is. The hotel is in the best way suitably around a relaxed vacation to enjoy! In the hotel were especially couple guests. You had the impression the many honeymoonler bandara are. It were especially German, English, east europeans and australians in the hotel. However is none of these groups especially noticed.

The bandara is located on the Bophut beach in the north of koh samui. Here are the beaches somewhat more coarse-grained and narrow as in Chaweng. For this the water is but not so flat like in Chaweng - there is at low tide it rather brackish. The beach section itself was quite quiet. From the hotel are approximately 10 minutes away on foot directly at the beach along and one arrives in the fisherman's village. Here there is a kind of seafront with restaurants and small shops. Direct opposite the hotel are also restaurants, a laundry service ( is worthwhile: 1 kilogram laundry for 40 bht) and a small supermarket. To the airport it was about 15 minutes, to Chaweng also about 15 minutes ( free shuttle bus is from the hotel offered).

We had initially a deluxe room in a side building and then a pool-villa. Both is recommendable. The pool villa was excellent great! Own small garden, outdoor shower, outdoor bath tub, lawn and the outdoor swimming pool. The inside is also a shower and the toilet with view to the green. ;-) if you in the afternoon times no desire on the beach has, in the pool villa great relax. The pool villas cannot be inspected. You have so much privatsspähre. The beds are comfortable! In the evening a new beach towels brought, the bed turned down and you get a locals sweet. Room and swimming pool villas are provided with otherwise over air conditioning, tv ( dw ), mini bar, dvd player, free safe and telephone. The rooms are also very nice, but it was missing the pool;-). Open bath to the room and also the rooms are beautiful. The pool villas are the delicacy. In both you got daily drinking water.

The gastronomy in the hotel is very good. Everything delicious. The staff in the restaurant is very accommodating. The prices are partly a bit more expensive as outside of the hotel, but delicious - example: pizza 8 Euro. All dishes were very nicely presented - breakfast and dinner. In the hotel there are thai and european kitchen - even at breakfast. It is a very friendly atmosphere and all the staff are extremely polite.

All of the staff at the hotel is extremely friendly. Small problem or questions fast and friendly fixed. All of them spoke English. The cleaning of the rooms was very thorough! Everything always clean. A doctor is 5 minutes away in the international hospital of koh samui.

It is a hotel for relaxing. There is a sport -entertainment program offered, but nobody noticed. There are shops on a small scale in front of the hotel, in 10 minuten ( on foot) away fishermans village, in Lotus Tesco - a shopping center (5 minutes by cab) or Chaweng. The hotel has a free wi-fi access. Top! So at the beach you can with at home -remained skype. The sea and the beach are clean. The sea is very pleasant for swimming and swimming. The loungers are however somewhat older, but through thick cushions very comfortable. There are umbrella available. In the left section of the beach it is through the palm trees the whole day slightly shady. Also pleasant.

The hotel is in general very good state. Everything is cleaned daily. The hotel boasts a nice and relaxing garden area, around the pool villas and room are located. Around the main pool are located in two-and three-story buildings the deluxe room. The normal rooms are in the main building. The pool villas are closer to the beach. The hotel offers overnight stay with breakfast to, which was totally sufficient, as you good and cheap outside of the hotel food. It were German, russians and English in the hotel. None of the groups especially noticed.

The hotel is directly at the long sandy beach. The airport is 15 minutes away. Nearby there are some restaurants and shops. Since koh samui is not so large, one can all excursions quite fast (up to 30 minutes) away. Excursions to koh phangan undko tao last 0.5 respectively about a half hour.

The rooms are spacious and for 2 weeks well enough. Great is the big terrace balcony, the roof. Here you can when it rains great on a large couch or at the table spend the time, included view of the pool. Noisy for us it was not. We were at the top. The bathroom is with a shower and bathtub. However as so often the shower partly. With mold in the corners. This would be more done are. The furniture in the room was completely ok and a mixture of thai and standardeuropa.

The staff are friendly, however definitely not welcoming. Language English, as well as hands and feet very well. The rooms are well cleaned and the balcony mopped. Codes for as Wi-Fi is at the front desk to receive. Complaints we had not. It lacks thai charm.

The hotel is clean and nicely laid out. Almost all rooms overlook the pool. The pool villas are separated and closer to the beach. The pools are well divided and part of. Even view of the sea! Breakfast is in a good choice available. Many fresh, the thai food are however moderate. The coffee machines with real beans. Lunch or dinner we did not, as it was too expensive it. Price-performance is okay not here and is also on beach restaurant not the view of the sea made up for it.

From the airport one is fast (20 minutes ) at the hotel. To hear is nothing. In direct location are the typical stores such as 7-eleven and tailor and massage parlours. Small restaurants there is also this straight evenings of hotel guests as essmöglichkeit use it, since it in the hotels often too expensive is, just for families. Apart from that offers the area rather little. There is rather the to Chaweng or Chaweng Noi recommendable, even if they were often crowded. But with a scooter one is fast in other locations (please note: helmet obligation!).
