Special highlight is the possibility a guided ski tour with the host for little money to book. Tip: there is usually additional charges for taxi and food under cetain circumstances even higher (for example 50 Euro per person in addition). It is also, the atmosphere after a good wine from the region to questions. As weinsommelier has always good advice and wines with good value for money from the region in the basement. The stay in this hotel and particularly the really great skiing stay surely always in unforgettable memory. read more

A hotel for feeling good after a beautiful day in the snow. The wellness area is very appealing, the children can adjoining swimming pool their last forces machines and afterwards wait a very attractive 5-course menu (of course with separate children's menu) to all. Altogether an appealing ambience with very friendly service directly in the center the small village Kastelruth. We are definitely coming again. read more

We experienced a perfect skiing vacation in the Hotel Schgaguler, the staff's hospitality and the host it was especially mentioned. Absolutely unique were also the excursions with the boss of the hotel, transverse with the skis by the Dolomites to drive was a special experience. Only a small tip, as you also different huts starts and delicious and extensive feeds, you should a bit more 'kleingeld' it, it was not so aware. But it is worth it! The food in the hotel was very tasty and good, the only thing, that we perhaps for breakfast missed, was a larger selection ... of cereals, like for instance a genuine swiss birchermüesli. The apartments were functional, the bathrooms somewhat outdated now, however absolutely sufficient and clean. The connection to Seiser Alm by bus is good, stop around 200 to 300 meters away from hotel. Who however more towards the St. Ulrich, Wolkenstein and so on skiing, the need to take the aute or a other ski bus, the circa 25 minutes from Kastelruth until St. Ulrich runs, from there to change direction Sella Ronda (st. Christina/ Wolkenstein). The gondola, the Seiser Alm to St. Ulrich drive down there is, however we found it is quite complicated in the winter sports region Seiser Alm with the old 2-he lifts the gondola to lifts, in order to then come with the skis on the back through the town in St. Ulrich on the other side to come. But one thing is for sure, we will definitely come again! read more

The hotel is a of the family schgaguler very lovingly run hotel. The service is perfect, the staff are always very attentive and unobtrusive friendly, it leaves nothing to the imagination. The food is very good. We have in our many skiing vacations never seen such a good gourmet cuisine can be enjoyed, such as on this vacation! We were very comfortable in the hotel, the food with the half-board was excellent. Commendable are the flexible meal times and the friendly staff. The activities (trips and hikes) with the hotel-host was very versatile and well run. All, also the other hotel guests, helped, that the excursions an experience were. We remember us very gladly at the tours, especially also, if we the photo cd image, our hotel-host for us to draw up. Very helpful was the recommendations and tips of the hotel-boss, the us with maps, advice and act to the side. Many hiking tips are in a ... binder from. Also the swimming pool and the sauna area we have extensively enjoyed. Great mountain views from our room on the 3rd floor. Good public bus connections to Bolzano and Brixen available. read more

Our one-week hiking vacation in the sunny fall was a wonderful experience! In the hotel Schgaguler we were warmly welcomed and pampered! The wellness department, especially the jacuzzi, is great. The offered hikes with ' boss Gottfried' you should not to be missed-he gave us a lot of the beauty of the mountains and in the area kastelruths told and shown! Otherwise we had have fun with him! Mrs schgaguler, the good soul of the hotel, us with your special discreet attention and friendliness very impressed! Not to forget, good catering- five course menu in the evening there was always ... an experience! The rooms are spacious, particularly beautiful was the view from the balcony on the schlern!     Panorama suite is very spacious and very clean. Our suite number 109 but it was already a bit old, in particular the kitchenette and the swimming area ( shower difficult to operate, shower head leaks, door handle something kicked and very loose). Shower is in bath tub integrated. There is a fridge and safe. 1 tv-device in the living area ( not included in the sleeping area). Closets are on the one hand sufficiently available however is the shelf space a bit small (for 4 days just enough for us).

    Breakfast is extensive with different bread/rolls, sausage, cheese, jams, fruit, yoghurt, muesli, eggs, lots of pastries, juices, enough coffee, tea. -course menu with choices tasted us good to very good. Portions rather small but sufficient to us. Dishes were optically well arranged with partly blooms or fresh spices garnishes. Restaurant area extends into a kind of winter garden - outdoor area/hotesl etc. Does not exist.

    Very friendly staff, the also a pleasant fun on the lips had. Special requests were gladly received and whenever possible. Guides hikes 2 times the week, choice of objective was the sunday evening, together with the interested parties. Small improvements were also very friendly and thankfully accepted. A useful info package with a umgebungskarte and busfahrplänene is at check in distributed.

    Wellness area very clean, spacious, left nothing to be desired. In the small outside area there were 4 beach chairs and about 6 circular and lounge chairs. There is also in sunny location a jacuzzi laid out. Bathrobe, ' bathing shoe' for the wellness area, as well as enough towels in the service included. Access to the internet on the rooms possible ( extra charge 10 Euro per week), however only over cable, which somewhat pedantically behind the tv-device bug and then almost across the room be moved. Wi-fi here would have been desirable. Tv-offer really impressed us ( amongst others sf1 and sf2, as well as many germans channels)

The family hotel in Kastelruth is medium sized and seemed very, very well maintained. We booked half board, it is also overnight stay with breakfast possible. In the hotel there is a excellent equipped fitness room, we several times used, a bicycle-/ ski cellar, pools and sauna and various spa treatments at the on-site spa.     Our room was a suite with a separate living room and bedroom, which we two very pleased. Even a small, well equipped and cared for kitchen was available. The bath is located inside (has no window), but it was missing to us at nothing: hair dryer, bath, bidet, good lighting - everything available. ( just a little bigger dimensioned counter for our gear gave us a little bit was missing.) everywhere was the cleanliness spotless. A small desk for the electronics was also available, tv and fidelity, and adapter and network cable there were at the front desk even free of charge.

    The half board was also perfect for us. The breakfast buffet is at least extensive and well stocked. In addition you can egg dishes order-from happy chickens :-) and good, strong coffee there was so much we wanted-for me than ' koffeeholiker ' important for a beautiful start to the day. Otherwise there were always several kinds of pastry and much fresh fruits. Great! The dinner menu is fantastic! 4 varied course, to salad from the buffet and a very good assorted wine cellar. Also for vetetarier is everyday something beautiful for everyone. And if after a especially large mountain-round with 4000 meters above sea level A especially large quantity of energy is necessary, then there was also times seconds. Complete success.

    The service is very friendly and very accommodating. You can tell in every moment, that you are in a family-run house is and not in a ' massenabfertigungsanstalt '. We really liked this! No matter wether in the food area, at reception or otherwise where: the very nice service staff were quickly and friendly, there were always a kind word. As far as I heard, are at least bilingual (Italian and German), which I also very pleasant think.

    The wellness area is in short, spectacular. There is a massive pool area, even with a counter-current system! And with indoor and outdoor jacuzzi. The outdoor swimming pool has view of the schlern... In addition there is a large, beautiful sauna area. Everything is very beautiful designed and maintained very well. The fitness room is impressive equipped with cardio and weight machines and an extensive selection of free weights. It makes the sweat fun.

    The family hotel in Kastelruth is medium sized and seemed very, very well maintained. We booked half board, it is also overnight stay with breakfast possible. In the hotel there is a excellent equipped fitness room, we several times used, a bicycle-/ ski cellar, pools and sauna and various spa treatments at the on-site spa. Everything is perfect clean and very well maintained. You see, that people with a lot of heart at work are.

    The hotel is proximity to the center, but relatively quiet and very well located. From the outdoor jacuzzi one has a great view of the schlern-really exactly like in the photo. Through the urban location is it wasn't completely quiet, the windows are but so well insulated, that the not a problem is. The wonderful conventient the Seiser Alm is very easy to reach: the valley station the cars in about 4 kilometer distance, with the mountain bike 10 minutes away, and, of course, various wheel- and hiking trails with its own, as long as you want to. Because we not really unterhaltungssuchend were, it was entertainment rather no matter. The kastelruth sparrows are naturally in shops and music in the town ubiquitous - in the hotel ran however very, very pleasant jazz, what us appreciated a lot:-) Bolzano and Meran are by car also easily accessible (ever about 1 hour travel time). Other destinations lists the hotel gladly.

The hotel is a besitzergrührtes hotel and the notices to be positive. Family Schgaguler worries about everything personally. They are always accessible and always very friendly and ready to help. As a guest you feel always welcome. The two points less for the food is only due to the fact, that the breakfast in comparison to dinner more drops. It is unfortunately not very abwechslungsgsreich. Evenings there were e. g., B. Wonderful cheese from the region, mornings unfortunately always only the same Fabrikkäse. Apart from that you can the hotel and its owners only best notes issue. In September we were in the Schgaguler and were very impressed. Our room was top and had, as we believe all other room, a very good location with a view of the Schlern and very good size and facilities. Because we every day for hiking use, we have at the end of the day every evening at the jacuzzi the sauna and the swimming pool used. The furnishings, as well as the cleanliness in the entire spa area, as well as the fitness area was hervorrabend. Around the spa area to use, stood for a bathrobe available, as well as ... a beach bag with 4 sauna- btw. Beach towels. The staff were very friendly, accommodating and very helpful. Family Schgaguler has very wervolle and helpful tips, and all questions in detail and competent answered. The gastronomy of the hotel is very good and after each hike full get, but it was very diverse and tasty. Finally, you can say, that the Schgaguler very recommendable and therefore still time: thank you very much and keep it up. read more
