It was a really great stay in the Sonnenhof!
The hotel is very peacefully located and everybody was very dog friendly!
If you looked more looked, you could quite the already mentioned restrictions of the hotel see:
So is the sauna of the hotel way too narrow and small for the size of the hotel (max. 3 people). Towels or drinks dispenser were also little is required. As well as the cleanliness in the spa a little to be desired. Breakfast buffet was alright, the selection was however limited. Unfortunately we could no evidence of any bowling alley, or a ... solarium-a shame.
All together however a friendly and solid hotel!
Value for money is great!

We can some bad reviews not understand, sure this hotel has furniture, the a bit worn, but the food is good and tasteful. The rooms are big and have a fantastic view of the harz with a big balcony. The prices in the restaurant are bedsheets were typical for a hotel. Goslar is only 7 kilometer away and offers all the shopping.
The swimming pool with a sauna is warm and large enough (the sauna offers 4-6 people ), the wellness area is in a separate building but you don't have to over the street, but only on the feuerwehrzuwegung ... and a massage is always relaxing. The hotel is located in a very quiet area and is ideal for walks, walks and general relaxation
Dogs are also very welcome
We will definitely come back again. read more

We had 3-course menu. The main course had in the morning for breakfast be selected. Nevertheless it came with several guests before, that the food not always hot was served.
The swimming pool is color nicely decorated. It could but in individual places be renovated. Also the radiator.
The sauna is very small. Maximum for 4 people.
Spider's webs in the dining room the lights could be removed.
The hikes with Horst I. Are very recommendable.
Apart from that very friendly staff.
Very quiet hotel, hardly any noise in the neighboring room belongs. We had room 107. read more

A very nice and easy going hotel. Ideal for a short break the resin to explore. You reached over the highway in a short period of time Wernigerode, the brocken and the other touristic objectives in the harz mountains. The hotel offers with a rich breakfast buffet the best conditions for a successful start to the day. And the three course menu in the evening was of good quality. read more

So I a hotel the resin before, simply cozy. You can of wolfshagen from much undertake, hiking, the other beautiful harzstädte visit. The food ( half board) was very tasty and more than enough. We had a double room booked, but an apartment over two floors with a magnificent view received. We go definitely again the sonnenhotel wolfshof. read more

We had a wellness vacation looking forward to it, the children came every time with nasty gooey runny eyes from the bathroom, since it was obviously too much chlorine in the pool was. We felt not well in the small pool area. Had us, that one also times in peace in the 'wellness area' relaxation can. But there were not enough seats and not at all a pool bar, with which we had counted. Knew it not, that you pool towels in wellness hotel pay must. The beauty area was by a of cellar entrance to reach, if not especially ... renovation works would have been, and the 2. entrance was locked? Of wellness and relaxation may not be called. The extra house for the family smelled after cold smoke. Very unpleasant. Food pretty good, could have been for breakfast, for the price, perhaps times fresh fruits and croissants expected. Luckily only for sleeping! Everything was old and musty. A rich breakfast buffet are, unfortunately it was just a simple breakfast. The buffet has less, than cafeteria character. Meat dry and hard, sauces without any taste. Since the chef unfortunately its wrong profession! We had under a chain smoker, because this there feast lives, could the lack not be turned off, our kids were excited! It was in the house nobody for necessary, and down, or with the flat owners to talk, luckily it was only 3 nights. read more

The hotel is absolutely recommendable. It is very clean, the staff very friendly and fulfilled also very gladly special wishes. The rooms are massive almost 40 meters ². And very clean as well as the terrace and the bathroom. The food has us every day very good. It was offered every morning and evening buffet rich, for such a smaller hotel it was more than enough when something was missing it was almost always replaced immediately. What was positive was that one always the same space and so never had to wait the pool and the sauna also very clean ... and were every day cleaned the pool was the whole day open the sauna from 4:00 p. m. if you before use wanted you could at the front desk report. The location is a dream from the room view one in the mountains which in the wake of good mood provided. Wolfshagen offers beautiful walking trails and everything you need for example a grocery store a florist a post nice cafészum coffee and an outdoor pool. Absolutely great! read more

This middle class hotel for a short break is definitely recommendable, if the own expectations are not too high. From the hotel, you can beautiful hikes make. It is quiet and has sufficient parking spaces.
The food, in the evening, is in buffet form and just average, -one becomes full. Breakfast is against better and nicer! The rooms are spacious, quiet but a little run-down ( unfortunately was our toilet not clean!) it had the appearance, that the room possibly 4 weeks previously was made clean! We had a big balcony. The staff were friendly. The cellar bar (only fr-open ... so) was in the evening our rescue, since this place is nothing to do! There are at 19 o'clock the sidewalks are upfolded! Ricky ( barkeeper) was a refreshing saving grace! He had always good mood, was quick and very friendly! The bowling alley was for everyone to use. Unfortunately the billiard table in the vestibule the bar, where it from the ceiling dripped! For children there was a games room and a large playground. From this base left the resin good explore! In the Resin there are lots of possibilities ( especially with children) at ways to spend your free time. read more

We had a coupon at eBay acquired and the redeemed.
I have to say we were very warmly welcomed, had a great room get, also was a good size and a magnificent view from the balcony. The meals were good in terms of taste, the staff were friendly.
The spa services were super, so that we a lot of taken into account have. Also the prices were ok.
In the area, you can nice for a stroll and relax or a visit to the Schnitzel king make, is worthwhile in any case.
I have to say ..., a short wellness vacation I would in any case repeat. Were very satisfied with everything.
Peace and a lot of green to walk, lovely for relaxing. Time away from the working life. read more

In january i had the hotel for a good price and therefore may still time. For a 3 star hotel are cleanliness and friendliness and big room absolutely great, even if more style 70. years (pine furniture!) Are required. Both rooms were completely alright and left nothing to be desired. Particularly the wonderful view of the countryside was great. read more
