Krün is ideal for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. There are trails for all levels of difficulty and much sun. In the midst of the hotel lies Alpenhof. We have stayed several times here our winter vacation spent. The warm and always helpful manner of the owner family barn adds to the special atmosphere in, the the charm of this hotel mind. The entire staff is friendly, competent and tried to fulfill every request. Because of our short-term booking, we had a junior suite on the ' older part ' of the hotel. We were pleasantly surprised, that also these very ... tastefully and comfortably furnished. Especially the belonging to the suite, small separate 'living room' and the nice bathroom good. From the offered full board was gladly lunch gebauch made, as you because of the reasonable location of the hotel, a lunch of the sporting activities can anticipate. The breakfast is extensive and was constantly replenished. Bread, bread rolls and cakes are baked. Particularly we always look forward to the homemade bircher granola. Lunch and dinner were delicious and diverse with regional specialities. Evenings there was still a bountiful salad bar. The hotel is of all ages. During our stay couples, families with children and einelreisende in the hotel. Complete stay the beautifully designed swimming pool and the newly opened spa area with saunas, steam rooms and caves. We will come again, for a 5 star holiday in Krün and the hotel Alpenhof to spend. read more

In the Alpenhof we spend every winter our family vacation and now with three generations. I (42) was the 29. time in this hotel and know the three generations of hotel owners, the hotel the unique informal atmosphere. The hotel is because of the continuous repairs and extensions, alone penultimate year by a great spa, which leaves nothing to be desired, in a great -modern condition, the existing stars in any case justified. We are already looking forward to it back on the next christmas holiday, we already again in the Alpenhof in the schober's booked. read more

Old-fashioned hotel with altfränkischer decor. One recognizes no concept of interior fittings. In many places is still crafted. The food boring. Why should one for a fried egg pay, if a weichgekochtes egg on order is free of charge. In the hotel apparently lots of regular guests the generation 70 +. This could the hotel because of the size and location offer everything. Who a hotel as in the 70-years are looking for, is in the right place here. read more

We were to the cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in Krün. The Hotel Alpenhof features 65 beds in about 40 rooms and suites. It lies in the middle in the place in lovely quiet and panoramic location. For cross-country skiers ideal. There are several ski trails of various levels of difficulty are easily reachable on foot. You can also directly to various snowshoe hikes start. To Mittenwald and various central points, funicular railways, winter sports region etc. Goes regularly a hiking/ski bus, the with the guest card can be used for free. A large Edeka-market and several other shops are in ... the immediate vicinity, as well as several inns and cafes. the hotel has a very nice wellness area and a pool. The hotel information and pictures on the homepage are not were diapered, but describe the facts. Pleasant were the moderate price for beverages, as well as coffee/cakes. The food is absolutely delicious and diverse. The staff are always very helpful, friendly and patient. The audience was very mixed. Of young couples over families and seniors feel all generations probably. We really enjoyed it and we can the Alpenhof thoroughly for a quiet winter or hiking vacation recommend. read more

    We had a room in the old building with a view of karwendel und wetterstein mountains and big balcony. Pretty bavarian furniture. Mini bar, tv available. Size of the room definitely reasonable. Merely the bathroom works a bit narrow.

    There are 4 star hotels with more choice of food in the evening. But there are only a few hotel kitchens, the dishes so tasty preparation. The portions are also for very good eater plentiful. Also the diversity of the breakfast buffet is particularly praiseworthy. Plenty of bread -, sausage- and cheese, various muesli, fresh fruit, scrambled egg and boiled eggs. The choice between full -, half board or only breakfast can again each morning are taken. There is a bar, the but so small, that this name actually not worthy. The few guests ( perhaps because of the prestigious altersdurchschnittes?) , the in the evening in the hotel still want to drink, stay in the dining room, which is not very attractive, because then already for breakfast set. We therefore the dorfgastronomie side.

    Quiet, almost quiet location. At the place several dining, gas station, supermarket and some smaller shops. Next train station in klais, about kilometers away. In the village-based travel agency, which a lot of daytrips in virtually all reachable famous cities and areas. We, two married couples, had two motorcycles and could wonderful tours undertake. An area, the classic enjoyable motorcycling regions, such as for example South Tyrol, not at all inferior!

    We inhabited a double room facing the garden. The orientation is however no matter. Our friends stayed on the other side, exactly nice. Great view the bavarian mountains. The furniture solid wood, the bathrooms spacious with marble washstand and many counters. Bathrobes and sauna towels were available. Very clean and every day fresh tidy.

The food consisted of a 3-course menu, every day changing. One noticed, that too many fresh ingredients were used. However were the portions for our habits a bit too large.

    The location is central in the middle in the place, but very quiet location. We had excellent sleep and in the chair in the garden we only heard the vöglein sing. We made excursions to Munich, Innsbruck and Neuschwanstein castle. Great was our trip on a hot day on foot in the wild finzbachklamm, nature relaxation.

We have the Hotel Alpenhof because of the many very good HolidayCheck reviews selected. This positive reviews we can fully confirm. We stayed with our 2 children (7 and 10 years) a juniorsuite as a family room occupied. The furnishings was very comfortable and almost new condition, in particular the large natural stone vanity and the rich shelf space in the shower we were very pleased. Each had its own shelf space. The view from the balcony was perfect. Our kids the large garden with magnificent flower arrangements especially good much, as it with other children everywhere undisturbed play could. ... The absolute Anziehungsmagnet was the trampoline. The varied food we all four always good. My wife and I used almost daily the extremely attractive and unique beautiful wellness area. Our kids enjoyed the swimming pool. A successful vacation overall - we are definitely coming again. read more

    Beautiful furniture, tv, balcony with many flowers, as one of Bayern knows, safe, telephone, mini bar - everything available. Different sizes in the house. There is a 'old' house, but spic renovated, and a cultivation with elevator, so that older guests comfortable the rooms away.

We (47, 45, and 14-years-old with a small dog) were traveling after umbrien and wanted three nights in Bayern spend. We were so thrilled from the hotel, we now our vacation for the next year booked. Especially I would like to enjoy the warmth of the family who run it mention. Especially Mrs shed. It is no question or no concern too much. A special experience was the bar-B-queue. If the weather allows is (a time in the week?) in the dreamlike garden for all of the guest grilled. Each guest will be an evening in the great environment in ... front of the panorama or long stay in the memory-unique. read more

Great great spa hotel with very good hiking on the doorstep. The location of the hotel is hardly any to exceed. The lots of regular guests come not free, we have already for 2013 booked. read more

Very empfehlenswerteswertes hotel the elevated class, much family character with professional service, you can only recommend. Great new wellness-and sauna area - very few approaches to criticize. Was here 14 days and I felt extremely comfortable and cared for; again for next year booked. read more

In june 2012 we were with a group on the Hotel Alpenhof. The boss very well cared for and the activities of the group. Also the staff were very friendly and helpful. Here one felt as a guest very comfortable and was no hotelnummer. The rooms were nice and functional and always clean. The food tasty and diverse. The spa area were very from the guests used. Good we went to 8. days home and the hotel in our best memories. We would gladly come again. read more
