Central location, next to lift to the center. For the first time we were in the spring 2012 in the hotel. From the breakfast we were very positively surprised ( variety). We had a small complaint as regards our room, that was handled very well and to our delight, we received upon our 2. stay a very generous compensation! We can only recommend this hotel and book it at next stay again. read more

Altogether the appearance of the hotel strong in need of renovation. Especially the hallways, the staircase and the underground car park for repair work grateful. The central location conditionally, that Samstagsnacht was so loud, that the windows could not open. However the air conditioning was unfortunately also very noisy and not very efficient.

The hotel is very central in Marburg and nevertheless quiet. There is but also rooms facing the busy street back. The rooms are spacious and clean, big enough and modern decor. Also the bathroom is sufficient large and very clean. The shower is in the bathtub, but it has a very low entry.
The breakfast buffet is great. Very large selection. read more

The 4 * welcome hotel in Marburg is right in the center. In the surrounding area there are countless shops -, shopping arcades and restaurants. The main station about 30 minutes easy to reach. Opposite of the hotel is a elevator in Oberstadt from Marburg with the pitoreske Altstadtfassaden. In case by car, you can public underground parking. There are 2 areas, the lower accessible to all and of the upper only for hotel guests with direct access to the hotel. Instruction, you can very easily the sign to the garage entrance and to the hotel miss. The best address ... iNS GPS enter. Thereby you saved a lot of time and nerves. The hotel both International people on business trip, as well as families visited. The hotel is in a very good condition and you feel very comfortable. The hotel room has all necessary the amenities a 4 * hotel, we should have. From towels over hair dryer, shampoo and liquid soap, of mini bar to the excellent bed was everything available. Finally sometimes a hotel Bettoli not the springs through! I have like a baby slept. Activities I can't say a lot, I have only seen, that there is a separate area. The breakfast is OK, there is sausage, cheese, yoghurt, muesli and warm dishes. In addition tea ( self-service), coffee, Cocoa and 2 types juices from a machine. For 8 euros, what the breakfast extra costs, is the quality sufficient and it tasted. 2 things disturbed me somewhat. Even the relatively high room price over 90 euros the night and to the other the extra costs for an underground garage parking to 10,50 euros. I think that should in the room price already contain! Apart from that I can the hotel highly recommend.
My in short: who in Marburg a great hotel in central downtown location and can afford it/want should this hotel book. From the location there is hardly a better house. read more

We had a very nice weekend advents in this romantic and bustling student city Marburg. The hotel is in a perfect location for a weekend, right next to the elevator to the upper town. The superior room has its price, but with the situation to the inner courtyard it was very peaceful and also in terms of size perfectly adequate. Cleanliness and furnishings were nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the service was not at all convincing, and corresponds in no way a four-star hotel. The front desk was with A, part two people for the size of this hotel on ... a weekend absolutely advents understaffed. For the check-out Sunday we had a waiting time of 15 minutes. The telephone was served on a regular basis in front of the waiting guests. We did not feel especially welcome, but rather, as if we were a burden. We had already on the day of arrival complained, that some things in our room did not work. Despite return memory the problems were rectified during the two days of our stay. We were very disappointed. Particularly worthy of mention is the restaurant. The breakfast buffet was good and was also regularly filled up. The staff are very service-oriented and discreet friendly. The request, a free table to meet up again, we were informed, we could go to the meeting room, there you have it. Furthermore, I have to say, that the conference is a conference area the atmosphere and not the setting for a comfortable breakfast. Very negative we found the lack of cleanliness in the restaurant during breakfast. The tables were not cleaned after each guest, but only newly set. A former Best Western, on closer look at a little worn.
The cleaning lady (under the eyes of the guests) the entire entrance hall with one cloth wash out wiped.

The best thing about this hotel is the location, ideal to Marburg old town. That is why it is little surprising, that this hotel, while the standard has fallen in the last few years, still well visited. You can take, also, because the choice of decent hotels in Marburg is limited, grudgingly the relatively high price. A little more competition would certainly the hotel standard. read more

Four stars for this hotel are a joke. The standard is at best three star. The service is may hard, but the staff at the reception was in many ways incompetent. At the search for (not distant) addresses in of the small town was no help at all to be expected: 'i don't know.', 'qual 'i not.' - and the prestigious institutes, for example the university and major roads in the vicinity of the hotel. Restaurants, the partly almost directly next to the hotel were, were allegedly unknown.
For an extra bed for a small child on the ... phone '50% of erwachsenenpreises' -in the internal documents we could say, that they are actually would have been free. A customer-friendly accounts was also impossible, which supposedly at the 'system' would be.
The breakfast was also under four stars-level-quite broad, but of poor quality, especially the warm dishes. The possibility, in the room even a hot tea, was not-in fact, the possibility offered, for a extra charge of 10€ hot water.
10€ costs also parking per day. Never again. read more

Good chain hotel with standard as expected. The best thing is the location right next to the elevator to the old town. The garage at the hotel, Ladenpassage with restaurants right by. Old tube tv and rather simple but adequate furniture. read more
