The value for money is very good. The location is great, the traffic connections great. The fly in the ointment is the food, the diversity there is, but the taste not. The house wine (white wine ) is very good, the red wine against less. Was pleasant, that there is no shift business at the meal times there was. One always found a place. The audience is european and a bit aged.
The underground car park is not restrained and in any case in puerto cruz recommendable. Daily from 12 €is appropriate.

Refined and altogether recommendable star hotel close to the beach and the pedestrian precinct.
In the spring you should a room with teideblick select, if one sunshine on the balcony to have wants. The balcony to the sea and also the pool area are from 11 o'clock in the shady area.
The food is of the quality altogether good but with few seasonigs. You could in every other hotel (or in the nursing home ) the world and would not remember, that you in Spain is. The theme nights brought no variation in the menu, -us it was only toward ... the end of noticed, the something on the menu took place.
The dining room itself is main meal times no dining room - but a speisehölle. The noise is almost unbearable, whereby the largest part of the account the waiter and especially the head waiter goes.

We can't recommend the hotel, at least not to people who a 4 stars environment hope for.
The entrance area is large and clean, what you see when you on the way to the room the elevator left probably expected no one. The doors open and you can see a stained carpet. If you then the aufzugbereich left and in the course of the rooms will an almost bad. There are so huge stains the one in the slalom through the hallway is this not to touch.
Afterwards it turned out that it is not fresh stains is, but the ... hotel such ruined, unhygienic carpets already longer time its guests expects. Most of this is to paint drips and around color the probably from umgefallenen strong smell comes. (this was not only on our floor, but on all floors!)
The rooms were in the all in all ok, also the hygiene is nothing to complain. But faults were available: wallpaper began to resolve and parts of the ceiling in the bathroom and also in the corridor the 12. floor began to solve.
I had only booked accomodation and breakfast, for lunch. - and dinner we can therefore say anything.
The breakfast was not exceptional but ok. We missed plenty fresh fruits (there was almost every day only watermelon and grapefrucht ), as well as a fruit salad from fresh fruit. The offered salad came from the can.
Unfortunately was also the size the buffet-corner a bit cramped for such lots of guests. Almost every day you had to stand in a long line fried eggs or omelets to receive.
Also you have ever after time of day some patience have until you get a table, this is in the early morning somewhat annoying. The staff in the area is however very friendly and helpful.
The pool we rate not really good, as he from 14 o'clock in the shade was. It was not possible there longer stay, as it was too cold. Who days by the pool adequate should at this time of the year definitely account! read more

I was positively surprised, it felt more than 4 stars. Had room with a view of the sea, simply magnificent. The other side was a noisy street with a view of the next building, probably not really recommendable. Had only booked with breakfast included (more than enough), as many restaurants and bars in in the area and it more fun makes there outside at the sea to sit as in the dining room of the hotel. Room is very clean and in well maintained condition. Pool large, to lageschwimmen suitable. Good starting point for excursions in puerto de la crus ... and northern Tenerife. read more

Big offer and good starting point for excursions, 10 minutes away from the Loro Parque, about 1 hour distance (with a car) to Teide
Pool- and outdoor area very nice, clean and cozy

The food could really be somewhat warmer always only lukewarm. The oriental restaurant is way, the whole place has nothing with the oriental to do, rather a german restaurant the hearty food from the british used. Very emphasized should be the friendliness at the reception and particularly mrs Katharina s. excellent. Under the beds in the rooms could times occasionally dust be mopped. In winter it would be appropriate the dinner for the children already at 18:30 o'clock to make. Is too late the most sleep then already at home.

There a fridge in the room missing and otherwise some small faults are available, is my review for the room three stars. Not acceptable is the saudreckige and stained carpet on the 11
Floor. If one much on the way is, one can bear, that the room sometimes also

Wonderful vacation with the best weather and in a well located hotel. About the hotel should by now some renovations are made like for instance sharing of stained and wavy floor in the hallways and also the wallpaper in the hallways are partly already again down. The rooms are rather small and ok, the bathroom is quite small, but with modern furniture (for example walk-in shower ), but also here one sees already again aging. We had the half board. The breakfast we found very good, the dinner was ok, but partly the meat not high-quality or the vegetables too ... hard, etc. In the morning we sometimes had to line up, most likely because of the christmas season. It had on one day though it rained one day and it took 3 days, until the finally the breakfast terrace opened and therefore was in the normal restaurant area also not enough capacity, but no matter. We have accepted that, although outside the sun was shining and we gladly outside could have been. The staff are also always very concerned and covers immediately the table again and cleared super fast. By the pool we only had 1 times. By the high wall is relatively quiet, but you can't the sea see and it is also the pool on the wrong side, because one has only to at noon sun. The beach on the other side the street is not really nice, but for the surfers there absolutely okay. Just nature. What's really great is the nature bathroom next to it. There you should definitely and good restaurants and a lot of shops there is as well right around the corner. The hotel as well as many other there is one of the architectural blunders from the 50. years, and not really nice, however the other hotels should partly still renovierungsbedürftiger are. Sad we found, that one above for the swimming pool 12 Euro should pay. What is one hotel guest? And the fitness room is unfortunately in the massage/sauna area and therefore hot it was then also. One sweats already, although still not at all moved. Otherwise one was very hard to satisfy us, because we only a room on the 6 floor directly on the street had, which was very loud. We could then to the 10 floor change, where we but unfortunately a room got, which totally smoky was, although it is a non smoking hotel was. A day later we could then to the 11 floor change and that was really great and a great view. All in all it was a great vacation, we undertook much and with the hotel we were also satisfied. There is really many worse hotels and not so well situated are. You should but nevertheless better a room with seaview take. This is certainly something quiet and always the best top floor be ☺ read more

A dream hotel, it is not, it is missing the perfect service.
For example. No sufficient german. And the in the hotel industry.
The service was somewhat friendly, but never a smile, and because of the lack of language skills-

Never too personal service. ( a small joke or saw as elsewhere usual, that was missing! )
We know that different. Even regular vacationers criticized the german as well as the impersonal service. A long-term regular vacationers told: 20 €tip at the start verpufften immediately and the initially friendliness was after a couple of days nothing ... more available.
When my wife a pot of coffee ordered we were not brought. After complaint us the pot then formally on the table slammed with appropriate harm view. ( dunkelhaarige proud spaniard, mid 40 i guess) with repeat orders worked often not. Apart from that it was but ok.
The best at the hotel the room was, we have never had such a quiet for had, either it was because of the good insulation or we had simply lucky with our neighbours. read more

I was in 2012 the 2. time in this hotel. I can only say positive things about the hotel. Also the from the hotel organized new year's celebrations a success. Also reasonable value for money. I the hotel can with best conscience absolutely recommend. Btw, i am for april 2013 already again for 2 weeks. read more
