Hotel Baan Krating Khao La^{(3 stars)}

Size the rooms enough. Large terrace and every bungalow had an ocean view, air conditioning, ceiling fan, kettle, daily coffee and black tea in the room. Daily cleaning is good. We have our simple bungalow transferred, because the old very strong smell and mold smell. The ac bungalows are better, because they renovated are. See pictures of the yellow wallpaper.

We could only breakfast book. There were 3 types of breakfast. 1. english breakfast (best), 2 toast with 15 g butter and 25 g jam. 2. continental: freshly made 2 eggs as omelets, frühte like something melon and papayas or pineapple. Not to forget the two small würstlein. , the last and 3. option was the thai breakfast: a rice soup. So, if you only with white toast and every day eggs food, then you are satisfied, but i would have for a breakfast expected more. For us the word breakfast buffet especially gained in prominence. The hotel is located from Khao Lak around 8 to 10 minutes scooter ride away. These cycles you get for 300 Bhat at the very friendly reception. Outside you'll get the same for half the price. We have after one night the better version of use. As in the better bungalows at least the bathrooms tiled were, and not from wood, it had my girlfriend strong headache of the musty, moldy smell. The resort has its own beach is but very gewöhnungswürdig. Underkept concreted couch terrace with 8 chairs and weathered broken umbrellas, the cushions were dirty and no 2 stars.

Something to outside of town. No shopping possibilities in the hotel and one is from a taxi or moped subject.

rooms are big enough with beautiful terrace and sea view. We had the bungalow right next to the pool. Rooms with minibar, air conditioning, Ceiling fan, bath implements, flashlight, kettle, safe, etc., and free water. daily cleaning without complaints.

We can only the posted breakfast gewerten. Rather English designed with sausages, toast, fruit, freshly prepared eggs/omelets. The bungalows are a dream. We have evenings for hours on the terrace sat and wonderful view enjoyed. Of the shower you can also on the water see. There is a large tv, a silent air conditioning, a fan and a kettle. Daily free coffee, water and tea.

The breakfast is for a three stars hotel ok. There are 2 restaurants. A beautiful and comfortable but a bit expensive. The other is cheaper but not really comfortable. Both restaurants but a great view and delicious food.

Clean rooms. Very nice and helpful staff.

There is nearby the front desk a computer with access to the internet, you can use for free. At the beach there is a little bit loungers. The infinity pool was very nice but not very big.

We had a clear renovated bungalow. Dreamlike view of the bay, beach and water. The bungalows are lovingly furnished. Cleanliness great!

To the beach one must put some steps descend, as the complex in a hill was built. In the place it was about 2 kilometer. but since scooters for 250 Bhat on the day from the hotel will be offered, is the not a problem. Apart from that one can take also a taxi. The location is very pleasant quiet. Also the beach is not as busy as in phuket.

Three and four stars night differences. For this reason there were the different room ratings. All rooms have view of the sea and a terrace with two chairs. I was from 17 to 25-02-2012 in the hotel. The impressions and recommendations are, in my personal opinion. I hope, the information is hilffreich. The hotel is located at mountain slope on one of the road between nang thong beach and Khao Lak beach. From the hotel entrance to the rooms/beach as already everywhere mentions many steps. (but how often is the whole way?). Because the hotel at the end the beach is one of his room/terrace the entire beach see. It has a small pool, clean, with 4 loungers. But i never see. At the beach is a platform with umbrellas and about 14 sun loungers. These are, as meanwhile frequent usage, partly reserved early in the morning. Here could it more loungers give. the room was sufficient large. It was nice, that you always the view of the see had in the sleeping, showers, on the toilet. There was a minibar, but we have the fridge for our drinks used. The bed was very large, comfortable and clean. There was a TV with a German Channels. Furthermore, there was a kettle and implements the coffee and tea. The safe was price. Sometimes there was a strange odor from the Badöffnungen from. The was very and we have even had the door shut. The terrace was very large and you could magnificent viewcomfortable outside sit. Our bungalow one was from wood. We had 4 star accommodation booked a. however we couldn't distinguish between 3 and 4 stars as they are. We had the impression, that the concrete bungalows a few meters further, of high quality were. But we could say the same.

the breakfast was OK, but after 2 weeks it was enough. There are only toast, two marmelade, two types of cereal, two juices, a yoghurt, fruit, a bit vegetables, warm sausages, beans, a strange sausage in water and warm Thai food. It was nice, the eggs freshly prepared and according to the wishes of the guest roasted to be. Fried egg, scrambled egg, Omelet with onion, tomato or sausage. It was really delicious. We also cheese and nutella bought and in the morning brought. apart from that we didn't in the hotel eaten and rarely saw people there. we can recommend a bistro/bar at the beach. About 300 meters away. There are delicious Thai food but also European things, fresh juices and everything was very cheap, comfortable, and view of the sea inclusive.

We spent our honeymoon at the baan Krating. I have an e-mail to the hotel before skilled, whether we are a free standing bungalow we are, since we are Honeymooners. The'city center' is approximately a half-mile from Khao Lak kilometer away. Therefore, that one breakfast had, of course you have to regularly plenty of shopping and eating. Since we weren't in the mood every day the way to walk and to the dragged, we have a scooter rented (200 day Bhat), the story has been very helpful. But be careful with the check-out counters and go! If you do not dare, can also take a taxi. That is not too expensive. For the 2 weeks it was tolerable, but for a next stay we would like to see a hotel closer to town. The place is really nice. Absolutely great is the market in Khao Lak. Every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday Afternoon. There are a thousand things to try, all delicious, fresh and cheap. in the bungalow number 2 was the furnishings very good. The bath very nice and big undgeräumig. Air conditioning was everywhere available. terrace furnished and good place to go usable. in the hotel there was the possibility to eat, however this was compared to Khao Lak middle very expensive, but OK. as already written was the breakfast rather bad. everything was cooled. Was only toast no other. Frenchtoas and pancakes usually very tocken. fruit and vegetables were in the heat and were dried out. kitchen style is adapted to the tourist. Hardly.

staff is more than just friendly, however the most as good as no to not any English. So it was sometimes right difficult with the Communication. cleaning of the rooms was always very satisfactory. Laundry service was such a thing. Had to attempted laundry facilities wash, which however because of the high humidity failed. The clothes then into the laundry given. The cleanliness in the first bungalows was very good. Yoghurt uncooled on the buffet, as well as the butter. Now and then it ran a contrary. Hardly fruit and vegetables to choose from.
