It's a beautiful hotel if you want to be in the middle of nature! There's a nice nature park close by. The bungalows give you good privacy in the middle of a wood. Breakfast is not the best, you don't miss anything if you miss the breakfast that is served until 10am. read more

The hotel is located from Khao Lak around 8 to 10 minutes scooter ride away. These cycles you get for 300 Bhat at the very friendly reception. Outside you'll get the same for half the price. In the hotebeschreibung there is as with holiday check ' hotelausstattungen' read serious deviations. No hair salon, elevator, no leisure activities such as cycling, sailing, billiards, Bowling, Midget Golf, internet cafe, fitness centre! Everything is a humbug! ( the bungalows are over lots of stairs to reach, certainly nothing for older people). We have a total of 120 steps counted by our bungalow to ... to the water. The mandatory bathrobe in the sporadic room was missing.
The simple rooms are in the upper range and the better room (ac) are the lower row for 10 Euro a night surcharge on top. We have after one night the better version of use. As in the better bungalows at least the bathrooms tiled were, and not from wood, it had my girlfriend strong headache of the musty, moldy smell.
The resort has its own beach is but very gewöhnungswürdig. Underkept concreted couch terrace with 8 chairs and weathered broken umbrellas, the cushions were dirty and no 2 stars. read more

I was from 17 to 25-02-2012 in the hotel. The impressions and recommendations are, in my personal opinion. I hope, the information is hilffreich.
The hotel is located at mountain slope on one of the road between nang thong beach and Khao Lak beach. From the hotel entrance to the rooms/beach as already everywhere mentions many steps. (but how often is the whole way?). Because the hotel at the end the beach is one of his room/terrace the entire beach see. It has a small pool, clean, with 4 loungers. But i never see. At the beach is a platform ... with umbrellas and about 14 sun loungers. These are, as meanwhile frequent usage, partly reserved early in the morning. Here could it more loungers give. Two showers on the beach are available. Unfortunately only one trash, no bucket. For guests the more hotel life search the hotel is perhaps not suitable.
The place is, you could also cozy in altogether 20 minutes along the beach walk (on lighthouse turn), then the road high and one is at the nang thong supermarket. Of hotel the road down (path completely is available the street pattern longer). At night one should at the beach a flashlight for the way back take. read more

So the area is very extensive and nice laid out. Consists of 24 bungalows, which was a big difference is the facilities.
had the last 2 allocated (directly on the ocean with an dreamlike view), however hardly any possibilities of accommodation for clothes there was only one small closet. The bathroom was small and restraining and not clean.
Complained about in the first hour.
Got the first 2, which contrasted to the recent very.
the Ford-the bungalows were very beautiful, but the last 2 were very bad. Due to the extreme humidity the last smelled very rotten and moldy. The ... cleanliness in the first bungalows was very good. But the entrance and lobby seemed very shabby and in certain places also very unclean.
we had only breakfast and it was more than just disappointing. Daily the same. French toast soaked and sloppy. Yoghurt uncooled on the buffet, as well as the butter. Now and then it ran a contrary. Hardly fruit and vegetables to choose from. This, too, after a short time everything and dried out.
cats sat everywhere, and were partly with the offered breakfast from the staff this fed.
the guests came from Germany, but also switzerland, Denmark and Sweden.
the average age was between 25-55. read more

We were two of four weeks in baan Krating resort in a single bungalow with breakfast room wood. There are single and double bungalows, all in a hillside with a fantastic view of the sea similar jungle. Very helpful and friendly staff from the front desk to the gardener. For people with gehschwäche the hotel is not recommendable, there were a lot of stairs to overcome, from front desk to the beach. By the tsunami is the hotel's own sandy beach unfortunately disappeared, but there's still a wooden staircase down where rocks are. There are about 16 beach chairs on ... a small platform via a stone staircase and if you use a jetty, it is located on the sunset beach, the quality of the pool was insufficient and long walks. If you want to eat out at night, the restaurant is Muanlai (located in the complex with great views and Thai cuisine) highly recommended. You can take a taxi (100-150 Baht, depending on your negotiating skills) to (Nang thong) Khao Lak and to eat or shop go. We rented a scooter in the hotel (250/day) and all have water falls, sights and KOH Kho Khao on our own experiences. read more

The hotel consists of several simply equipped bungalows (1 rooms, large picture windows with view of the sea, bathroom with shower, as well as a nice balcony overlooking the sea). The bungalows have air conditioning, safety deposit box and fly lattice door and are all geared to the side of the sea. People with a disability I would not recommend this hotel as it is only about a lot of steps to the beach, to the lobby/restaurant or on the road. The city you would walk around 20 minutes or you could rent a moped or take a taxi it ... takes about five minutes. read more

Dream view above the sunsetstrandes in Khao Lak outside the city, but not everything should you believe, there is a beach access but only ten for 24 bungalows. Also the breakfast left a lot to be desired, but all in all very nice, but with drawbacks. The atmosphere and furnishings in the bar and restaurant areas everything. I would one of the new bungalows are better situation and state-of-the-art equipped. Not suitable for older people as there are many steps and very high hop. We would go there again. read more

beautiful hotel on the edge, above Khao Lak on mountain slope location. Great Wooden houses. Long stairs to the beach, not for Laufmuffel. Small pool below of the restaurant. On a Pedestal above the beach various sun loungers. Above the hotel a restaurant. On foot in the town center about 20 minutes small trains 5 minutes and 20 Baht. Hotel pleased me very well. Is definitely for someone to make a point of looking for peace, no hustle and bustle but a base for further travel into the inland and needs.
Location is situated in a jungle-like park, this must also times with an ant or spider be expected.
The staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful.
In my view, definitely recommendable. read more

The bathroom is in need of renovation. Bungalow had booked in the first row, but if you are traveling with alltours you can expect nothing else as the second row right at the restaurant. Once and never again alltours.
A screen on the patio would have been appropriate. Breakfast was no variation and around 9.15 o'clock the buffet was almost empty. Sausage and cheese had bought ourselves. read more

The complex is great for those seeking peace and quiet and Indidvidualurlauber. Whoever wanted entertainment or, if you are looking for party was wrong here. A taxi to the city will cost you 80-100 baht for two people and there is everything for those everyday need (supermarket, shop, restaurants, etc.) the beach was reachable over stairs-depending on the location of the bungalows 300-500 meter There is a Superieurbungalow with two rooms, the wooden bungalows consist of two double rooms (slightly noisy) and the new (opening November 09) stone bungalow are closest to the beach and were single bungalows, but ... not much Charme as the original wooden. The complex is located at the end of the bay and has a wonderful view! The breakfast was for three stars perfectly okay and in the area there was an external restaurant, which was good and cheap. There were enough excursions (elephant riding to diving in one of the ten most beautiful diving areas in the world) read more

We have stayed at other bungalows in Thailand, but this was by far the best.
The view is amazing, the furnishing of the bungalows great. We especially liked the large windows, from the bed you were right at the rise a gorgeous view over the beach. We had booked directly with the hotel.
At the breakfast, I must admit, that the selection was not so large, but it works.
To the city are about 20-30 minutes to, if you don't like walking should rent a scooter. Otherwise the hotel is lovely quiet.
The food in the hotel is tasty and ... reasonably priced total in order. At the beach there are also other restaurants.
To the beach, you had to go down some stairs, the beach is very nice.
If we go back to Khao Lak flies will always come back to this hotel! read more
