We were pleasantly surprised, that the staff bad or even mostly not at all spoke german! With english one came through well. The hotel description we found over the top, unless, one makes more attention, that there are 5 polish stars. The entrance area looks after only 3 years already quite worn and the taste of the decor is not the western standard and taste. Pink polyesterkissen on brown leather armchairs in the geschrammten althouth, this pink glow blütenlämpchen of lianes similar cables on the front desk. The special disappointment was the sauna! The sauna has the size a private ... sauna for two people and one child! The nasssauna almost maximum 3-4 people one remains there by the way dressed (!), what we and all german guests overlooked! Beach chairs are not enough available, if you're not the very nice roof terrace can! The spa area is a spatial bad planning. Without high expectation i can recommend the hotel, the location is great and there is no better nearby! read more

The hotel is located great central location right in the middle of the old fish market. For a city trip therefor this is it.
In the evening you can easily on foot the gdansk nightlife explore- recommendable is the bar ' piwo & Wodka'.
Only small shortcoming: the pool area is relatively small with little loungers. In the summer like this by a large surface then probably not so bad.
Apart from that great hotel! read more

A stay in gdansk without in Hilton is to be real pity. The hotel is first-class. Very large room, massive bed, enormous bathroom ( bath tub and shower), very large and fantastic breakfast buffet! Hotel is very centrally located. Great view from the terrace. The best restaurants and bars located just in front of the door. Old town and spazierzone right next to the hotel. Simply everything great read more

Or pinwood hotels in Turkey (rude and overweening staff in the restaurant) is the Hilton in gdansk really far above. This hotel we will every famous recommend. read more

The hotel has good conditions for a really good city hotel. Freshly squeezed orange juice and good selection for breakfast, almost all sights in walking distance, chic bars and really nice staff. But. We had to repeat the condition our room after the service matters. Zusammengeknüllter pajamas on the floor, dirty glasses on the table in the room, carpet not properly vacuumed, toothbrush glasses not cleaned, empty bottles of shampoo, shower bath etc. Not cleared and so on are simply not a Hilton or 5 *-hotels worthy. One has every time wordy apologized and once stood even a bottle of ... red wine in the room, but it is clearly something which should not happen. Certainly not. read more

Hilton Gdansk is a relatively new hotel. The entire area was during my visit in top condition and everything was immaculate and everyone clean. Locked services gave it apart from the access to the wellness area not. For everything had to be paid separately. Of course was a room upgrade, Internet and breakfast for honors diamond members for everyone. read more

We had a spacious one bedroom suite #233 which was functionally furnished. Only minor complaint is very dirty windows with bird excrements etc. The views would have been greater with clean windows.
On the top floor there is a lovely sun terrace with a bar. And a spa with with a pool.
The breakfast was excellent.
There was a noisy wedding party going on in Saturday evening. We could close the bedroom door to keep the noise out.

The Hilton in Gdansk is really perfect.
The decor is very modern and very tastefully.
It offers all the comfort.
Everything was very clean.
The rooms are very, very nice and comfortable.
We had a room on the third floor.
Double bed, flat screen tv, desk, seating area etc.
The bathroom was also very elegantly decorated.
Really nice.
On the ground floor there is a very stylish bar.
Only the spa area for the size of the hotel too small.
There is a small pool, a 2-person sauna and a 2-person-steam bath.
We have four couples arrived around the city ... Gdansk to visit.
The Hilton is ideal-right in the center.
In the center there are great cafes and restaurants.
For shopping you have to go in the nearby shopping center (Baltica). We did this with a taxi.
The visit was definitely worth it. It was huge.
In the centre of Gdansk, in the old town there is no or hardly any stores for shopping. Mainly Amber-shops and cafes as said.
Here, we can recommend the restaurant Sphinx. Comfortable and delicious.
We'll be back to Gdansk and stay at the Hilton. read more
