A very welcoming hotel, the staff are very friendly and helpful and speak english. Reception staff are very competent. The food is varied each day and there is always something to eat. Would recommend this hotel to families and couples. Would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a lively place as this hotel is quiet.

The bungalow complex with about rooms is on the edge of Sissi and a small street interrupted, but it didn't is very busy. Above the street is the two-story bungaloweinheiten (double or family room with 3 -4 beds), a pool with sunbed area and the tropical bar with free accessible wi-fi. Below the street is the main building with front desk, further apartments, restaurant, pool, pool bar. The hotel and also the lawns are in a clean, decent condition, the staff are very friendly, cleaning of the rooms took place every day.
Booking all inclusive, half board or completely without ... meals available (only apartment).
Important: safe and air conditioning are not included, one must 8€ per day (!) for the air conditioning pay and the safe costs 26€ for one week! We needed the air conditioner luckily not, since it right was pleasant because of the wind. However there is behind the cover a button, with the complex manually turn on-money saved-) ( thousand thanks to the reviewer here at Holidaycheck, this tip posted recently had!)
Guests mainly from Russia, England, Netherlands, Germany; both families with children, as well as couple middle aged and seniors. read more

For half board like this hotel reasonable its, we had all inke. It is a first a booklet handed, where inside is what all inke everything (not) be ordered must. Cocktails are excluded. The staff in the restaurant was really very pleasant until it noticed, that we all inke had booked. There were the half board - guests simply preferentially (in other words: several times at the table during dinner after asks for asked) sounds stupid, was but unfortunately really Sunday The Greek evening should 10 Euro per person extra costs, if you didn't wanted to participate, was from 18 ... to 19 o'clock 'fed'. Nothing special funny, if you have food enjoy in peace would (which really very tasty!) and at the next table are already white tablecloths for the Greek evening set and chairs moved! The breakfast was unfortunately not especially varied, it was missing fruit respectively every day there was only canned peaches! The lunch and dinner was very diverse. The cake buffet with all inke stock unfortunately every day from bit of dry cake the flavor chocolate and almond. Ice in between there was just for children! Small comment yet to the beach: nearby there is a pebble beach, you have to go over a cliff respectively the road reached. Well, the beach is not a knockout! A little further is' the super -sandy beach', the really recommendable is. The path to the rocks is not very simple, is worthwhile but really. We wanted to be loungers and a umbrella at the beach rent. Behind the sandy beach there is a hotel of the Robinson-clubs. Since we other hotel came it was us does not permit 2 loungers and a umbrella for rent! We thought, that this is really just a joke to bargain! No, it was reality. Although several chairs and umbrellas were available, we could not rent, since we didn't from the Robinson Club arrived! It was told us, that a certain number of loungers for guests of the Robinson-clubs at the beach ready to be held. This information we have at our travel guide handed down. We hope, that this is a misunderstanding is, since the beaches yes public and usually every bather a chair and an umbrella rent, no matter from which hotel he comes! In summary we can say: a nice hotel, if one much on the way is, half board bay and not too big expectations on a great beach vacation has. read more

Hotel reasonable not all inclusive. Only half board! As a tourist 2. class occurs. At noon no service!
The beverages ( Cola, Bacardi, Gin, Whisky, and even the soda) there was not more original!
We had three days half board, afterwards all inclusive. There were only small glasses, ( wine, beer, water) unversändlich.
Nice freutliches staff foreign languages skills!
The breakfast was every day right, directed to the English tourists.
The bathroom is very small and is in need of renovation.
Services and barkeeper great.

For a couple looking for a relaxing two week break in a quietish surrounding the Sisi Bay met our needs perfectly. The staff were amongst the most efficient, competent, friendly and humourous we have ever encountered. The Collins Greek Phrase Book notes, that the Greeks do appreciate people trying their language and don't mind much about mistakes. This was true of the Sisi Bay staff who provided us with all the help we required and laughed at both the successes and failures. Given that there were many nationalities from both east and Western Europe, the hotel has a wide range ... of spoken languages within their staff team, which is very impressive. The pools were clean and well kept, however a draw back would be that there is not much scope for the non-swimmer as most are minimum 1.40 metres in depth. The entertainment appeared adequate, although that was not high on our priorities, however the Cretan theme night was excellent. Overall the food was good but as a vegetarian I had to be careful before making my choice, nonetheless I always had enough to choose from.
Sisi itself is a small town with a few hotels, four (small) supermarkets, handful of souvenier shops and between ten and twenty restaurants, but still manages to retain that essential fishing village feel to it. If you are keen on excursions In terms of the north coast of Crete, Sisi is distant from lager populated areas and site of significant interest so be prepared to spend at least three hours to get there and back for most outings.
If you are looking to hit the high party life then Sis Bay is probably not for you, however if, like us, culture & relaxation is high on your agenda then Sisi Bay is definitely worth consideration. read more

we were as a family the 3. Summer in Sissi, the children feel very comfortable.
The staff tears very much, all are friendly and accommodating! The audience was this year mixed, German, French, Dutch, Poland, English, a few a few Russians, it was a great atmosphere and the guests were all friendly, last year only Russians, the was very cold. So could the children at least this year contacts. The entertainment for the kids was also OK, the 'small' were in any case loved it and that is it. Our booking from January was not on, we did not get ... the desired rooms, but the complaint was then edits. The food was last year much better, a bit more typical Greek. Food would make the whole still more points! Much. It was next year. Apart from that has the complex over several badelandschaften, distributed bars and a good elaborate Unconventional room arrangment (the architect was thought). Of course this would be a or other bathroom even a board more use, so that goods can be parked. It is about 5 minutes to the beach on foot, however stony beach. Malia-Cars at the port rented cars with good service, with which you can then its Wunschstrand search. To Agios n. you will find great sandy beaches and beautiful Bays. Nearby there is a sandy beach, you however only over a small climbing expedition on the rocks to reach on foot can. If the current is however much waste in the water. The Greek. The vacation we liked. We definitely recommend the hotel.
The place is rather small, for relaxing exactly the right thing. Those who want to party should however somewhere else. As it in Sissi only a disco and apart from that cocktail bars' s.
The staff in the hotel is particularly praiseworthy, as all great courtesy.
The evening entertainment was varied.
The nahstgelegende beach is a Pebble beach. A few more meters you will find a sandy beach.
In order to go there one must over cliffs climb, to recommend bathing shoe. read more

We have enjoyed our holiday. The food was varied and delicious, the staff friendly and tried hard. Unfortunately we had to for the air conditioning 9 Euro per day extra are charged, otherwise we would have the heat at August not endure. The pools were absolutely perfect. For the beach a tip: definitely beach shoes carry forward!
For the way to the bay, you should be good on foot.
Altogether it is a very nice hotel complex. read more

The Sissi Bay is a very large ' hotel' respectively holiday resort with very much staff the almost all their profession have missed!
At rooms lacks in the Sissi Bay but not in staff who it clean; maintain.
Our room the first 3 days not at all cleaned and if then a woman passed, wiped the dirt only from one corner to the other - with the water where they are already 200 previous room / bathroom wiped!
We had booked all inclusive. However all inclusive in the Sissi Bay is not all inclusive. If you during dinner a cocktail ... or a long drink, would you get from the waiter once a staple into your hand pressed where a all inclusive only once in the Sissi Bay everything cannot!
1 it must in the restaurant or bar no drinks bottled and the to the room be taken
2. Cocktails, long -drinks, bottles of wine are not in the all inclusive included
3. the consumption of ice outside the meal times excluded children is not desired
4. All inclusive guests at their prior day dinner got, have no claim on the departure day on breakfast
5. Food and drinks from the restaurant taking is not allowed
There are German and English hotel guests from the ages were bund mixed from 1a 50 years

This hotel you can not recommend!
We catch with the staff at.
- reception - not always there was someone who spoke german and english, we were also not further.
- waiters-very rude. We always had the same waitress, this has never said hello, let alone thanks. It has the eye twisted, if you no tip got and snotty replied. It has the impression made, that we nerves and just can't be bothered. Another waiter my friend suggested they had food in your bag from the buffet put in, that is not true, since a napkin was. General twist the ... employees there gladly the eyes.
- charwomen-a very nice, friendly team and very thorough. The nice lady every day passed.
The hotel normally is very confusing. And the hotel complex by a much befahrerene street. Generally speaking it is also on the edge of town. Rooms were okay, exactly like the bathroom. For the air conditioning should we pay. I believe 38 €for 2 weeks, i am not completely safe me. And at night we were greeted by mosquitoes. Cats outside our window gejauelt and rats/mice hunted. On our terrace was 7 cats, now without to exaggerate.
Beach
As the crow flies maybe 200 meters. On foot you (if you slowly) 30 minutes on a road without sidewalk with large hills. Then you are on the pebble beach, do you want to the beach you must still over cliffs climbing. For families is the nothing at all.
Food
Only for english people. Prepared dishes and cans are used. And on some days it was my stomach not good. For breakfast there were no variation and the dinner was just bad.
In the city itself not much was going on either.

We were in the summer 2012 in the Hotel Sissi Bay, the staff were very friendly, we had the half board and had to safe and air conditioning are charged, the air conditioning worked only when you in the room was. To the sandy beach you are already about 20 minutes, but nearby there is a bay where one also wonderful swim - but unfortunately pebble beach. Never 4 stars! We were very, very different from the food disappointed, my friend wanted extra because of the great kitchen to Kreta, and that food in the hotel was a flop! There was 1 court, couple potatoes, that was it. To the beach with sand we had to every day minutes 15 minutes walk, beach chairs per day 3.50 and then the sun screen from 4 Euro, the hotel was somewhat abzockerhaft, air conditioning 9 Euro per day, fitness studio 3, and the indoor swimming pool ( where in the summer eIG. Not a soul need again 4 ... Euro, and he was totally dirty). In the small town Sissi it was only few minutes on foot, there it gave however only restaurants, and small souvenir shops. But overall it was OK! No 4 stars, and luckily we didn't all inclusive! read more
