We are already 6 times in lardos defendendo, always in different hotels, usually in 3 star facilities. We love the place, the area and therefore want in the hotel only breakfast. El Vita the breakfast very good, also the hotel complex is nice, the pool and the great beach area really OK. Wonderful is the tavern (where also the breakfast was served- vacation feeling totally ). Unfortunately our vacation by the noise troubled, the 3 times a week there is- events in the evening until 0:30 o'clock, then sleep before 2 hours early for us impossible made. Even a ... entertainment on balcony was impossible! A shame, this hotel otherwise, we would have re-elected. read more

the hotel is located directly at the sea. However there are there only stony beach. A couch is highly recommended. Two beach chairs cost on the day 6 euros. The loungers by the pool are therefor free of charge. Also there are also rocks in the water. You should bathing shoes shall, as the water otherwise quite hard.
for swimming, you should better to drive Glistra (distance 5 kilometer from the hotel), there is only sand and no rocks in the water. The water was very clear and you can far into the sea out walk. Therefor the beach chairs ... were 8 euros on the day.
Without drivable Vehicle is the place quite lost. It is only 5 bars or restaurants the one on foot distance and a supermarket right next to the hotel. Sights are equipped with a scooter, quad or car easy to reach. Car rentals are right in front of the hotel. A quad costs per day 50 euros, the car 35 euros and a scooter from 15 euros upward. Discount it, if you have a car or similar rent for several days. Alternative also a bus stops right in front of the hotel.

Simple but nice hotel to relax. Guests were mixed at our time from England, Germany and Switzerland. A Mietwage is encouraged. Breakfast rather lacking. read more

I came for one week together with my six year old son and we had a nice week. Before booking you know that it is a simple hotel and for me the most omportant thing was that it is a small place (only 70 rooms) and that everything is close together - bar, pool, beach and appartment. In contrast to an all-inclusive holiday where you can get rid of your child all day. Here it all worked well and he could not get lost. THis was also due to the fact that there were less than 30 people staying in ... the hotel. Staff was very friendly but not reliable: when I had to leave the hotel at 5:30 am no one was at the reception an no one picked up the phone number provided on the desk - as a result, I could not get my passport. Fortunately, I had my identity card for me and my son.
The food was ok but too English, chips with every dish - hey, we are in Greece, so I would prefer rice or potatoes.At the bottom line: if you want a nice place to stay and often go for a day trip with a rental car and eat out quite often you can have a super holiday. I was missing a children's playground or at least a corner with some lego or wooden bricks. I possibly come back someday. read more
