A very clean, quiet and tidy run hotel. The rooms have a sufficient size and are very good designed. We had the half board and were more than satisfied with the quality of the food,it was simply brilliant.

Our short break in the hotel helmerhof in october 2012 was great.
The room we really liked, the bathroom was small but very nice. We had a balcony with a view of Neuschwanstein Castle. The fruit plates and bottle of water welcome to us really enjoyed.
The attached restaurant was very delicious and varied dishes. The breakfast buffet was varied and very tasty.
The offered sauna we have (unfortunately) not used.
Should we visit in the area his, is the hotel helmerhof at the top on our list! read more

Medium-sized hotel, everything was very clean and friendly, elevator available,
Nice large breakfast area and a great restaurant, all age groups and nationalities were represented

The hotel itself is quiet in a small place outside of Schwangau, but from there you could get everything worth seeing great reach. Royal may on foot be achieved, one is fast at beautiful lakes (with wheel, on foot or car). Austria is quasi around the corner and in 5 minutes you are in feet.
We stayed with our 2 children much seen and done. Every evening we in the Helmerhof delicious eaten. We had only booked breakfast and with the food not set, but it was so convenient after eating directly to the room go to and as mentioned ... it was always very good and it gave plentifully selection on the menu. The service was very nice and personal and child-friendly ( small always got Gummi Bears to dessert given).
So it is a very nice hotel, which we definitely book it again would! read more

The hotel Helmerhof is a' grown' hotel. The recognizes you that, over the years by additions the space always bigger was.
We were in a room accommodated, the with of the oldest part of the hotel belongs. It was our room really dark and a little dark.
The double room was a generous size and the bathroom was in comparison to many modern hotels huge. From the balcony of the hotel you had a wonderful view castle Neuschwanstein and the tegelberg mountain, however also on the outdoor terrace and the parking of the hotel.
Since we at a time in ... the hotel were, than this anniversary celebrated, was a big tent on the forecourt set up, each evening with different themes celebrated. Therefore I can't make statements the evening peace make, but I think the you otherwise quite calmly spend the night. At night it was in any case nice and quiet.
The breakfast room, also in the old part building, was in my eyes a bit small. At full occupation with guests it is noisy and cramped. I liked the question opened, why not in the large, bright restaurant area breakfast.
The selection at the buffet was big enough. Everything you nowadays expected was available.
The staff were friendly all round and information very helpful.
The restaurant is, as already mentioned, nice large and bright. The choice is very good. Also in the afternoons there are delicious coffee and cake.
The proximity to Feet, the royal palaces and for example the tegelberg mountain, as well as the Forgensee left nearly no wishes to excursions desired.
For body and wellness can appropriate program book, what we didn't done have.
All together a very recommendable hotel with super good location. read more

My husband and I wanted to once again right new year's Eve celebrating in the case good food music and dance. Unfortunately only the good food fulfilled the new year's Eve and ended, that we left before midnight on our room went, as the two male band not bear was. Also many other Visitors left the restaurant. We had to the feast and we were so pleased disappointed. The food was the whole time one-time good and the staff very friendly and nice. The room was very nice and commodious, but it was in the new building very badly soundproofed ..., so that we in the old building move had to. There was silent, but the beds creaky so much, that we didn't was. The breakfast was really good, the coffee and the rolls were very good. It lacked a bit at the variety. In the hotel many family reunions took place. It was sometimes a bit noisy. The hotel lies actually very nice with a view of the locks, but a bit out of schwangau. According to Manfred are about 20 minutes footpath and feet also. Feet is a very beautiful place. You can many walks. read more

The hotel consists of a newer House and the older main building, in which our rooms were. Everything fit the style of the area, was very clean and neat. Free parking it is directly in front of the hotel. Because of time constraints, we could see the wellness area do not use (it also didn't take a closer look at), but that the use jacuzzi Euro 4, - extra costs, is not completely modern anymore. read more

The hotel has a great location a bit away from the Touristenwahsinn in hohenschwangau.
A connection to the public transport is given. The tourist attractions are also within walking distance, especially if a hike is planned.
The staff was very friendly and the breakfast. Our room was very spacious with a large balcony with direct view of Neuschwanstein castle. We can thoroughly recommend this hotel for couples. read more

One noticed immediately that this hotel is very much under transport and to invest the guest have a great stay gun play. We were in the December last year, very satisfied,
The weather in this time not really wanted to play,
We also in the house, with a free sauna or in the cabin, we were never bored. A hot-ston massage for me and my wife had a facial and we enjoyed. Every day we had also a fresh bottled water in our room, free of charge, which is not of course ☺
We had booked a package + 1 day, there was a champagne breakfast and a super 5-course meal with aperitif costs. The remaining days half board, in the evening ... a 3-course menu (3 main courses for selection).
On my birthday, we were in the renovated SpA in schwangau, my wife got a voucher from the hotel for four hours with sauna. the birthday get free admission.
We felt very good there again.
Despite holiday time in PV and by we were always friendly and courteous ☺

We booked the hotel quickly before Easter Helmerhof in schwangau. The hotel is a family run hotel in a quiet location, which, among other things, a café with a sunny terrace and a restaurant with winter garden features. From the balcony of our room in the 'old building' we enjoyed a gorgeous view of the mountains, including Neuschwanstein castle. Many sights within easy reach. Also, the location of the hotel for many excursions, hikes and a visit of the thermal bath. Particular highlights include the quality of the food, the cleanliness of the whole house and the communication with the ... guests. We can recommend the hotel to hundred % and will certainly be back soon a holiday spend. read more
