We were thrilled, again at any time. The breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired, everything was clean and the atmosphere was good. The pool we could from lack of time unfortunately not use, but it looked very inviting. read more

The hotel only 2 wishes open:
1 it could be a bit more central
2. Internet in the room without an extra charge. But at least there are in the lobby a free Wi-Fi access
The foreign language skills are as often in Vietnam rather moderate, despite extensive exchanges with the GDR and years of American Occupation. But they made a lot of effort and in the 3. Attempt one understands then mostly. read more

Westlake Hanoi hotel mostly from Asian groups for a short stay booked.
The location of the hotel the lake is very nice, especially the lake bar invites you to stay a.
The rooms have a good size and are nicely furnished. The bathroom is also okay.
The breakfast was sharpened and there was a massive selection.
The supper with the Asians was also very tasty and the atmosphere was very appealing.
All together a very good hotel for a few days Hanoi, away from the hecticness and quickly in the center.

the room was very nice and large, modern (but asian) equipped. Everything was in perfect condition. The hotel itself is located about 30 minutes away from the airport (16 US-dollar for a fixed price taxis) in the middle of a peaceful settlement in the Westlake. It is absolutely quiet and relaxing, the pool is great. I had a club room where you free happy hour with drinks and small snacks-very pleasant. My suitcases on the flight from bangkok lost and the staff gave a lot of effort therefore moving, finding this as quickly as possible which I found unusual (is ... not the task of the staff). The food and the drinks were very good, the friendliness of the staff was exemplary. I would recommend this hotel unlimited highly recommend. read more

An ideal hotel for exploring of hanoi, not off the beaten path, but still quiet, away from the hectic and noisy hustle and bustle. The usual intercontinental standard.
We had booked club in addition, one can give oneself, the lack of guests was treated poorly.
Restaurants at the hotel is very good, after an exhausting day trips it was very, very good, in the evening not to have to get out, the food was excellent and a drink at the bar directly at the lake was almost romantic-except for the weather: drizzle, hazy and fresh temperatures.
Trip to the halong ... bay was interesting, unfortunately also ran drizzle. We had booked with hanoi tourist from a driver plus guide, a boat for us alone chartered-was a bit more expensive (about a hundred dollars) but well worth it completely, as we saw immense crowds at the port I was very relieved, as we have decided. Furthermore, we were able to stay, To explore etc. determine for themselves. read more

We stayed at the intercontinental 10-day prior to the beginning of a trip through the whole country. The hotel is a perfect entrance to the hustle and bustle of hanoi hectic it. In the restaurant of the hotel 'saigon' on the first floor we stayed for two very good, fresh vietnamese spring rolls to roles, bbq duck and grillierten fish and 1 liter of water for 55 american dollar. For vietnam expensive, but in the proportion the service and quality perfect. read more

Nice hotel ten minutes drive from the old city Of hanois station, in the quiet and located in Westlake, no horns, no traffic (good for relaxing after a hanoi-sightseeing).
We had a deluxe room in the main building with a partial view of the Westlake, for two nights was adequate.
Five star equipped, good-sized bathroom.
The breakfast was excellent, other meals we didn't meals.
The staff was (as we know from vietnam not different) were very nice and professional.
The pool countryside invited to swim, but the weather (no rain, but mostly covered) and the lack of time through the ... tours, we took the, prevented this.
A small subjective grievance: us the furnishing the hotel is a little'reserved' before, we know some other hotels in vietnam, which have much more heat.
Nevertheless, this hotel is definitely for hanoi-stopover recommended. read more

The hotel is by taxi (about four euro) about 15 minutes (depending on traffic) outside the centre the Westlake, you can feel as pleasant. However, we had can gray weather, so the hotel complex, all white, very uncomfortable. May be different on blue sky. The rooms are nice, but extremely bad insulated, both in the sanitary area, as well as go to the hallway, you can hear, if at night entertaining guests to come home. Otherwise there are a lot of positive things to say about it: the breakfast was excellent, with glass-fronted a beautiful view of the lake. The ... check-in was done right in the bus from the airport, this is a great idea, if you use the hotel shuttle bus. The hotel has managed, us for the puppet theater in the water to get, compliments, and right in the building is a tour desk, where you can order a guide. There is not much going on, we would probably want a little closer to the city center former, but who knows how noisy at night there was. read more

The hotel is wonderful located at the lake and an absolute oasis of calm to the rest of the hustle and bustle of hanoi. The restaurants of the hotel are absolutely recommendable. Everything was freshly prepared, and the wine selection is good. The breakfast is good and there is a lack of nothing. The only disadvantage was, that it is in the sports area no massage and sauna. The offered massages on request in the room running (who likes it!?). Since we didn't have good weather during our stay had (10-13 degrees cold and cloudy) we could not at the ... outdoor swimming pool. But I think, that it wonderful is good, warm weather its relaxing time to spend there! The hotel is really nice and absolutely to be recommended! read more

We have stayed in the Westlake suite (very quiet location, great size of room) and enjoy some advantages. The breakfast was away from the main restaurant in the club lounge served-there could also be taken of the five o'clock tea. In the evening the aperitif served appetizers. Use of the internet was free of charge.
A beautiful hotel, everything was very spacious-good location not far from the city center of hanoi.
Only drawback: the pool was too cold... ☹ read more

A hotel, its five stars well deserved. Quiet location on the edge of a lake overlooking the centre of hanoi. The breakfast is nothing a lot to be desired. Good selection of bread and crunchy Baguettes, probably still a hangover from the French colonial period.
nearby there are several restaurants. A very nice restaurant you, if you up to the main road, about two hundred yards on the right. read more
