Hotel Antiq, Ljubljana, Slovenia
- June 2013
This is a charming hotel, particularly well located. The staff is very very pleasant and the location was perfect. It is an old fashioned hotel which is the kind I prefer. If you want a 4 Seasons, you would not like this. Like everything in Slovenia, it is spotless.
Near to the center

The hotel Antiq lies in the middle in the old town Ljubljana. It has a few 16 rooms which none on the ground floor is. To all rooms you have to climb stairs. My room no 13 was as a maisonette directly under the roof. It was warm, but by the air conditioning relatively easy to cool. The main room was with a small bright leather couch, a beautiful wooden table with four chairs, closet, safe, mini bar, telephone, wardrobe and a very large flat screen equipped. The bedroom above had except the bed and bedside table no further facilities ... for disabled guests. In the bathroom does the mixing battery of the washbasin the lever was missing. The water tap was to use, but rather hard. The breakfast is small and with the coerced equipped. Coffee, tea, milk, muesli, Butter, jam, cheese, sausage, eggs, fruit. All together the hotel is in my opinion for short 1 -2-day stay suitable. It is clean and centrally located

With lots of flair right in the old town archiviert

Small hotel with very nice and large rooms and a great breakfast. The location directly at the pedestrian zone in the old town, at the foot of the castle, countless bars and restaurants in the immediate vicinity, one minute from the Ljubljanica river away, better than a hotel in Ljubljana hardly. We were lucky with the parking lot, about 2 minutes away on the edge of the river just outside the pedestrian zone are sufficient free parking available. All you have to do approx $300 - 400 meters walk to the hotel, but as we didn't need the car and ... explore the city on foot could it wasn't a problem. We again got our two dogs with us, it was also possible and was even extra charge. During our stay most of the guests were English and Americans and in Ljubljana meet tourists from all over the world. Sunday is a visit to the flea market (2 minute walk) highly recommended. You find just about the time historical "before I would Austria". You can have breakfast at the hotel only, no dinner service (no Warmküche), many good restaurants in the vicinity, but more than you could get over that. For the double room (more like a suite with separate hall and TV room) with breakfast we paid 97, - EUR, instead of in the Preisaushang mentioned 160, - EURO. From us thoroughly recommended.

For a business stay my husband and I stayed in this hotel. We can thoroughly recommend it! It is rare that a hotel with such a nice atmosphere. Everything is sparkling clean with great attention to detail and furnished and decorated. What I also really positive memorable is the may be a bit sound funny, great smell all facilities at the hotel. It smells like lemon and coconut. It is very quiet, although right in the old town, but to the green at the back of the hotel toward castle. Free internet was right outside our room available. The hotel ... staff was always friendly and information were among the staff. It's very convenient for for example. Called morning and had agreed to allow the lady who works in the afternoon is informed and you never again arrange everything from the front of the hotel. In our case it was the arrangement of a particular room. Great! Each room is different designed and decorated. out the website of the hotel and also worth a stay. Only slight grievance is the parking. Husband can't park at the hotel, but rather in a public parking garage that with about 20 Euro per 24 hours is payable and 10 minutes away from the hotel. But that's why is perfect, also has a not perfect component in addition and so long as the parking is only, take the very gladly accept! Antiq hotel - we love to stay there again!
