Big hotel with options 'view of the sea' or ' view to Teide' which however only from 6. floor is possible, including view to the pool and across the hotel. Room and bathroom are clean, change of towels every day, bed sheets on request every 2. day. In the entire alright although already a bit shabby - especially the bathroom. For the wifi you get at the front desk a password, then it works perfectly.     Room big enough - however somewhat worn. (mattress appeared to be brand new-very hard). Bathroom was clean, but should in the near future even newly set will be... Facilities bathtub with a shower curtain. Floor coating in the room tiles in the hallways and stairways carpet. Safety deposit box for a fee. Air conditioning available, but not used. Balcony with a table and 2 chairs-partition wall to the neighbor balcony from grid stones.

    A large restaurant with a large number of waiters the organized. You will at breakfast and at dinner at a free table. The only problem: when saturation is possible the tables very cramped. The food was always very good - a wide selection of all dishes, something for everyone! It was always immediately refilled. Meat and fish were freshly fried.

    The entire staff is very friendly and cooperative. Several handicapped guests were treated very attentive. The rooms are cleaned daily, daily change of towels, bed sheets on request every 2 days. Communication in german and english not a problem.

    The hotel's location is ideal if you like in the evening a little stroll, or the mood in the evening to enjoy. At the beginning of the pedestrian zone/promenade at the sea located. In front of the hotel a small sand/shingle bay directly next to it there was a beautiful swimming pool. (unfortunately we had no time to use it). Countless bars, pubs, restaurants of every evening with dance music-on the promenade many street artists. Directly next to the hotel, through a street is a small supermarket. By bus nearly all destinations easy to reach. Car rental in one of the surrounding agencies very cheap (polo for 5 days under 100,-Euro) (by the tour operator very much more expensive!)

The weather during our February holiday was sunny but cool and we made use of the ample indoor and poolside accommodation available in the hotel. There is an elegant restaurant with a superb view over the beach and promenade. The food and service was outstanding - we shall certainly return there. The hotel occupies an excellent position along the promenade opposite the Lago Martianez - a splendid man made complex with swimming pools, children's areas, cafes, restaurant and casino. Puerto de la Cruz is arguably the most attractive town on the island with lots of shops, cafes, bars, individual stalls ... all set along a wild sea front. There is a small road-train which runs between the town centre and the Loro Parque wild life centre (including a frozen area for penguins). read more

Good geklegenes hotel, friendly staff, room inunserem case on the ground level and very dark. Bedlinen bad, bathroom with only a bathtub ; mostly with english occupied, which the offered food coordinated seemed. read more

Very good central and relatively quiet location. We had a very nice location on the 9. floor with a view of the lago martianez. Somewhat older hotel with charm, in consideration of advantages and disadvantages but nevertheless recommendable. Tip for art lovers, very nice modern picture on the floors! Restaurant area with lush, of quality choice of dishes, unfortunately very busy in the core times. Pool area taste of the german and english with the exasperating towel reserved! read more

A empfehlenswertrs hotel in very nice location, at the beginning of the pedestrian precinct and opposite the meeresschwimmbäder. We had only breakfast, although during the 2 weeks always the same was offered everything was very good. A very good hotel for older volumes. read more

We've stayed here twice a year for the last 4 or 5 years and have always thoroughly enjoyed it. We always get a lovely room with a balcony most times. The staff are helpful and friendly and they even entertain us with games. The restaurant and food are excellent too, also there is plenty of good entertainment. read more

Nice hotel. Clean. Friendly staff. Knowledge of German poor. Kitchen normal average. Separate mattresses the sleeping quaity gotten promote. Disturbing the animator, the not only during the noon, with stentorian music and roar, but also at 22 o'clock with urkundenverteilung, to small and adults children, to the detriment of the general public, their anhängerschar of about 10 persons presented. read more

We booked all-inclusive and the offer little enthusiastically. ( the mini bar was locked, lunch not enough choice and always the same, the drinks at the bar very limited). It were especially retirees ( English, spanish, dutch and German) in the hotel accommodated. The hotel was as far as everywhere clean. Our room was without a balcony and clearly too small. read more

    Our room was without a balcony and too small, the bathroom also but still ok as a couple. The möbiliserung rather old, the mini bar ( all inclusive booking) locked, air conditioning and safe available. The room was always clean and every two days was changed.

    There is a main restaurant and two bars ( but definitely not at the same time were open...) the dishes in the main restaurant were always good, choice and quantity more than adequate. The rooms were always clean. The kitchen style was both German, as well as typical of the country style, so something there for every taste. At: o'clock ( and not earlier!) until: o'clock there were dinner. The guests were to 40 meters (!) until the doors were open, which not always great was... Especially guests with mobility problems as their difficulties.

    The staff are friendly, at the front desk everybody was always very hectic, although definitely not reason is. With German and above all English one gets ahead well. The cleaning of the rooms was always without any problems good.

    Since only a few families in the hotel stayed there was no kids' program. Water aerobics for pensioners, archery and punchbowl was so the daily animation. We had however never interest. Shops there was only outside from the hotel. Access to the internet per wi-fi was both by the pool as well as on the ground floor possible. The installed computer in the hotel also (10 minutes = 1 Euro). But it was never used.

    The hotel is situated right on the beach ( but not for swimming invites since rocky and definitely not clean). Puerto de la Cruz is about 1 driving lesson away from the airport. Purchase- and entertainment possibilities more than enough. From Puerto de la Cruz you can take bus all excursions great with bus reach. Loro park easily accessible by small railroad ( drive free) to reach.

The bathroom is from the 80. Years accordingly run-down. The fittings are strongly oxidized and not nice to look at. Lived in the room 927 and the water was very sparse the shower. read more

Beautiful, relaxing vacation on a US still completely unknown island. Very often a car around the country and people to explore. Car there on every corner. Those who wanted a pure beach ( in the actual sense ) vacation would like, must either with the rugged, rocky coast EXP, or a whole piece walk, respectively to go a 'pure' sandy beach to find. Inside tip: San other! During the week a really quiet, lonely beach, which light sand artificially created. Apart from that offers the island very much interesting. To the hotel - all in all okay. Already little ageing. ... However rooms are clean and starve you can't. Oh: for the pool must the hotel quiet a couple more sun screens more buy and a few older of which exchanges. Funny, many morning the ' Sonnenschirmkampf ' to watch. read more

After several holidays in Puerto de la Cruz in three stars hotels my wife and i in the company of a befriended couple us for the four stars the h 10 Tenerife Playa decided and were in no way disappointed. As a subjective evaluation is the hotel is located in an amazing location, directly across the meerwasserschwimm pool 'lago martianez' and almost at the end the beach promenade with pedestrian zone. The absorption capacity is about 300 people, the furnishing is upscale and handicapped accessible, for some a (see previous reviews) a bit outdated, the style but loves the says ..., modern and, will especially the international public fair. For cleanliness on of the staff almost embarrassing respected and we had no complaints. Our half board was plentiful, international and of excellent fresh and quality. Who in Spain only Wiener Schnitzel and chips should the travel expenses save! To the nationalities we could note: many 'mainland-spanish', english, dutch, french, german but also guests from Russia. The observed average age amounted to about 40 years, a few but also young or young people. The percentage distribution amounted to around 20 to 25% young and young people. Bemerkensert is still, the hotel has a own pool area, as well as a nude beach area (10. floor), in the hotel guests absolutely undisturbed are. read more

    Size around 16 to 18 meters² with a shower/toilet, a small hallway and balcony on the seaside. The furniture consisted of 2 beds, 2 cupboard left and right, a closet, where the - but not used-mini bar was, as well as 1 sesselstuhl, a table with chair. In the corridor there was a built-in wardrobe with used safe, a cupboard next to the bed the hotel telephone. Condition and constitution more than enough, to in case of bad weather - but we did not have - a few hours in the room to spend.

    On the ground floor there is a (e) restaurant/bar with a stage and an outdoor terrace to the pool. The international quality and quantity of the dishes and drinks were excellent. It was noticeable, that some few guests a inappropriate behaviour displayed. The staff were always to hygiene and cleanliness in the restaurant concerned. Particularly positive it remains to be noted, that several cooks depending on essenwunsch for the guests on open hearth cooking, brieten, etc. , whereas particularly noteworthy is, that the staff logistic an excellent job made! If outside sc hlange beach of 40 or 50 people hung the beobachteterweise also, that a bus group was! The atmosphere overall was bustling, yet comfortable, the prices nothing to complain about.

    The staff are overall very friendly and accommodating. Fremdsprachenkenntnisse are allowed, but not required, so is for example most of the service staff easily understood german. With english One comes always further! So we were amongst others at the check-in in the hotel as welcome a glass of sparkling wine offered and also zwischendurch stock the offer if necessary. A wet bar has, as well as a safe, and this only against deposit use is a matter of course. During our stay we were several other services were offered.

    To the natural beach it was approximately 50 meters. The next town - orotava-is about 3-4 kilometer away, La Laguna circa 25 kilometer, and steep uphill goes! Tenerife - nord is the next airport and approximately 30-35 kilometer away, and notice must, that because of the mostly instgabilen wetterverwhältnisse in Tenerife - nord most departures and arrivals from Tenerife - south show, about 80 kilometers away from Puerto de la Cruz. There are shops from the hotel left and right just round the corner, thus in direct distance to the hotel. Entertainment possibilities there were changing from the daily to evening program of the hotel, but, depending on what you are looking for, in the immediate distance to the hotel.

A completely clean, generous built hotel with very nice pool and subtropical garden, friendly staff, very tasty and versatile buffet and direct location on the promenade, something very pleasant was for evening walks. Also the directly opposite lying salt water pools ( Lago martianez) we very enjoy, because you have to take the Eintrittsquittung after a lunch break again go into allowed. Car parking rental car ( online) was average footpaths to/ from the hotel from approximately 15 to 20 minutes connected. The needs you about the hotel directly, then would a parking made available ( possibly in the underground ... garage). Nevertheless a great vacation! - to keep you also fit!:-) read more

I am normally not very demanding, but this time I was unfortunately from the hotel very disappointed. It is old and in need of renovation, at all the bathroom ( Joints black and moldy ), the building is old, outdated and musty ( in the room and in the whole hotel). The Hauptrestaurant was apparently recently renovated and was OK! Our problem with the shower ( shower fixtures broken), despite repeated complaint within 2 weeks not fixed, so we had to 14 days whilst showering hold it in your hand! Whilst checking out the front desk is just of 1 ... Euro tip withheld and was generally very rude (when we asked, where we had the luggage up to the collection store can ). The environment of the hotel it is very great, there is a lot popular attractions nearby, everything is comfortably within walking distance ( botanical garden, Loro Park, Playa Jardin, numerous shops, bars, restaurants and so on) The beach at the hotel ( Playa Martianez) invites unfortunately not for swimming a, but the salt water pools a dream (although expensive, 4,50 Euro/ person entry and 2 Euro for the sun screen). Well. Soaking, not really cooling fridge ( was disgusting). (for 15 euros (!) rented, in (unusual) temperatures these May had of course cold drinks ago, would otherwise have died from the heat. But a well-functioning fridge should actually in a four star hotel Gratisequipment be). 2 times ants in the washbasin. Nevertheless really good cleaner service. Rich breakfast, however almost without fresh products & in absolute canteens atmosphere. Just mass processing. Both phones in the lobby useless. Staff at the reception not really hard. The beds completely unsuitable for a few, the together cuddle (and more-) wants. Constantly lag ... between the beds, instead of this. And so much other more, what could be improved should be. But the view from the balcony was great. read more

This was the best hotel form me for a long time, and being of an older generation I have stayed in quite a few. Although this hotel caters for all ages, I think it would suit couples or adult families. The hotel is kept very clean; rooms are of a good size; beds perhaps a little too firm; soft pillows but plenty. Two very good sized pools, although I only used one. Chilly but warms up once you are in. Entertainment day and night very good. Plenty of seating and bar staff attending so you don't even have to queue ..., well not often. Outdoor 'cafe' well catered for. In a good area for shops, bars and restaurants should you need them. We tried one almost next door, fantastic. The food in the hotel is adequate; plenty of it; just a bit repetative; lovely if you like paella. Staff everywhere outstanding and obliging. Will be back next year. 5* for me. read more

    Good size room well equiped with TV; balcony; safe and air-conditioning... if you are not too thick to find out how to use it. The bathroom was quite spacious with hairdryer and shower as well as bath. I like a shower my husband likes a bath. These rooms were kept very clean everyday; towels changed more often than some hotels too.

    Quality of food was good but very repetative. Good if you like paella and fish. Beautiful dining area with windows all round so you have lovely views. I usuall tip at the end of my holiday not on a daily basis, but that is a personal matter. I try to include Chefs and kitchen staff as they usually get left out.

    ALL staff were friendly and obliging; most speak very good English especially at reception where sometimes it can be awkward trying to be understood as I do not speak Spanish. I had a problem with the air conditioning; they sent someone up within an hour and the man 'turned it on' for me. Oh! sometimes I am thick. Rooms were very clean as was the whole Hotel. Luckily I did not need a doctor but understand there is one very local as are some Pharmacies. Shop round the corner to get your newspaper or juices. Excellent will be back next year.

    Entertainment is good day and night. You can be as active as you like or as lazy as you like, that's me.... Beach area not really suitable but the two pools at the hotel are just the right size. I believe there was a childrens area but I did not see it... told you I was lazy. The sun beds were just too invitiing.

    Good location; very close to shops; bars and restaurants; street entertainment in evenings; opposite a Lido if you wished to 'cook yourself'. I like shade myself. Took roughly an hour from airport, but good roads. There are many excusions but as we have done it all before we did not go this time.

On the whole the hotel was reasonable, it is currently everywhere on the complex hammering and drilling, for hindering held, but eventually must be renovated (early season ). Distance to the beach is top and all around there is something for everyone. read more

We were again pleased and will also our next holiday 2013 in gléichen hotel. The proximity to the beach, the meerwassenanlage right on the doorstep, cafes and other places everything in next proximity, waterfront to to the center everything is close by. Overall clean area, very friendly staff, the try, if mark what goes wrong. %blank% for pensioners, as well as for parents with small children adequate. So all in all a good hotel. read more

On arrival one us again a room with seaview contrary to the booking are willing to give. Using the number on the key card we have the right recognized and succeed against resisted. Then we got sparkling wine and after about 20 minutes, it was possible, our room with a pool view and balcony to refer. The room was tidy, clean and nothing was missing and everything worked. It were many british people since, few spanish and also a part german and scandinavians. The breakfast was good and we found it good, that everyone drinks itself mix could. The line ... up there is sometimes very communicative and you can with other guests in the conversation. read more

    We had a room on the 3. floor with a balcony and view of the pool area. In march already in the morning sun on the balcony and until late in the afternoon. Who television wanted, for the there was a laminated sheet, where all channels had. So you didn't have to look around for long, a german channels to find. The quality was also good. One got constantly new bed sheets offered, if you wanted. The desired change of towels has always worked well.

    We know no hotel with a better location. Quiet, directly at the very nice pedestrian precinct and if you to the left goes, raves the life. For an evening walk after the dinner wonderful.
