Family-run hotel in quiet location directly at the forest, with a lovely terrace, children's playground and a lot of nature. Is a nice place to rest and running but also suitable for companies, because of the Isolated location. The rooms are functional and clean and have flat-screen TVs. The kitchen is amazing tasty, extensive and every individual wish is received. The cozy atmosphere at the fireplace invites you for longer lingering. read more

Were the second times in the hotel ' Pöpsel ' and again we were pleasantly surprised. All rooms newly renovated, spacious layout, new decor, hygienic tiled floor. Great service by the housekeeping staff.
Food in a very good quality-the chef from Saxony!

After exhausting family bike throughout the day, it was very relaxing, on the terrace of Pöpsel to sit in the sun, the friendly staff in a quiet and idyllic area served, the more rustic, but tangible to enjoy a delicious meal, and then in the spacious clean rooms to spend a quiet night. The breakfast was fine, I would have been glad for fresh fruit or very similar. I would definitely recommend this hotel. read more

Outside of Beckum location, but good for visitors to the ' Ruhrpotts ' suitable. Also the business is well cared for. Nature and peace are available and the crowning glory is the fireplace in the lounge. The food is high quality, tasteful and very affordable. The atmosphere is pleasant and familiar. The rooms were available in different configurations and price ranges. The flaws, a crumb would, if you look for it, are exposed to and, if possible, from the staff immediately turned off. read more

Except for the breakfast we were very satisfied. In contrast to the evening menu was very good, the breakfast left a lot to be desired. Fresh rolls would have been nice instead every morning baked. A freshly cooked eggs wouldn't be wrong. read more

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the city and a Beckum is an ideal starting point for hikes, bicycle tours, as well as cities (Ruhrgebiet) sightseeing. We have used this place to stay for a little getaway and were very pleased. The atmosphere and furnishings in the bar and staff are very friendly, professional and helpful. The rooms will be renovated soon, but we were in a very clean condition, so that you can feel comfortable. All rooms with balcony and satellite tv. A big compliment to the kitchen, we liked it excellent, all freshly prepared. Any kind ... of drinks at the bar. Due to bad weather we could not use the large beer garden is not new. A bowling alley is available. At this point again to the couple Hoffmann and Carol for the entire service. We'll definitely be back very soon. read more
