Old ausgelutschtes City Hotel somewhat remote of the loops. Hilton has the name no more the quality what we in the prices are expecting can. Room rather small and old furniture. Bathroom alright but train, as the windows not more fully close are. Spa area alright (good fitness center with career, swimming pool suitable to swim, sauna only in the changing rooms). Common sauna or wellness not possible For business trips probably top, mattresses were very pleasant. read more

Very centrally located hotel right at the Michigan ave. The shopping mile magnifent mile around 15 minutes away on foot. All other points of interest easy to reach on foot. Had the hotel already from Germany booked. Frightening Was the price for parking. One night should $50 cost. In my eyes, even if parkplatznot etc. Prevails, simply Only a rip-off! Check in and check out went without a problem. The people But only speak english, couldn't see that someone german. Spoke. The lady at the check-in had free of charge on a Business room upgraded. The room was nice and ... big, had Two bathrooms with a view (unfortunately ) to the inner courtyard. Except for the view I could not complain about. Furniture looked relatively new. Beds were Comfortable. Breakfast i hadn't booked, since on every corner a Starbucks or similar is where you much cheaper breakfast than in the Hilton ($23) Except the parking fees, acceptable. Because of the large and the number of Rooms but very impersonal! read more

Right on the magnificent mile, near the Hancock Tower! Within walking distance supermarket, mall and fashion shops! There are still smoking room on certain floors! ☺ No balcony, but beautiful proportioned room (almost living and sleeping areas), french beds depending on the room. Check-out quick and efficient. Hilton style in the 80-years-he look... Optically not more the state-of-the-art, but perfectly acceptable. Really recommendable hotel! read more

Upon check-in (after 25 hours traveling) I asked for a nice room with a view. The receptionist I stated on several occasions the the room is great. Really? View on the wall next door and the room had a bad smell and was tiny. Even the extremely helpful "BellBoy" has told that you couldn't stay here. Furthermore it was not properly clean. I asked for a nice with a view. I was immediately given an "upgrade" for extra 50 USD offered - very rude. Then I was moved to another room. much bigger, a bit better views but next to ... the Klimaanlagenturm! The noise was unbearable. I Finally had to pack up my stuff for the third time to a small room with at least nice view of Lake Michigan to remain. Hotel is outdated and needs in dire need of a makeover. The lifts shook the you're afraid get, the rooms are moderately clean and worn. quality of service is as you would expect in the United States good, but it doesn't bother housekeeping very early despite "Do Not Disturb" locks. Overall, I would have to go through a Schnäppchenseite I would get a very good price to nestled vergrämt. read more

In my room were 2 full bathrooms, very spacious rooms, very, very good bed, we have seldom slept so well. Was lucky to have a view of the Navy Pier and the Seaside. The hotel is the address in Chicago for as nostalgic as. Not far gives you access to the famous tram station, the grand Park is not far for jogging. Walk everywhere and always safe, about 40 minutes to downtown. read more

The didnt have a double, was small and rather a single room, unfortunately, there was not very clean, even when you see in the corners. I don't want to know how many generations of probably had in the carpet. Upon check-in was the lady at the front desk, unfriendly and even though I repeatedly asked them to slowly speak, was not the location. Completely untypical of America and the right on the first day, we were fortunate to while traveling better experiences. Never again this hotel! read more

The Hilton Hotel Chicago is located on South Michigan Avenue, just a few minutes walk from the "loop", opposite the Grant Park, direct view of the lake, a little further north is the Art Institute of Chicago and the Millennium Park. Also the shopping district of the "Magnificent Mile" is in 20-30 minutes on foot. In front of the house there is also a bus stop. The line 3 and 4 go directly to the Magnificent Mile, a typical fare will cost approximately 2.30 USD (pay the right, as no change). Will you often bus is worth taking a ... card the CTA, here cost only 2 USD and every other ride in the facilities 0.25 USD, without card are 2.30 USD to pay again. Nearby is the METRA train - station, but in the suburbs runs and maybe with a wonderful trip to the Museum of Science and Industry and to McCormick Place good Render such services. In the immediate vicinity are even the Field Museum (natural history), the Aquarium and the Planetarium. Behind the hotel is situated in about 5-10 minutes walking distance to the subway which runs to the airport. The hotel is a bit dated, but very well kept and had many rooms. The staff is friendly. The room size was ok. Everything we needed was available, such as coffee maker, TV, iron board, telephone, air-conditioning etc. Two big beds are ok. Not understandable for me two bathrooms which are identical without shower. If you are unlucky enough, and the room in the courtyards is collected and see only the other wall with other rooms. Through the lack of sun the rooms are also very dark. Lake looks as if you very close to the slice of. So, if possible, book a room with direct sea. Nearby there are a few fast food restaurants, if it a hurry. Next to the hotel is also a Starbucks. In the summer you can enjoy the location right next to the park certainly very nice, in winter it is due to the direct Fusing but very cold. Personally, I'd certainly lives up to a hotel close to the Magnificent Mile, for example. select directly on the Chicago River. read more

The best place to stay, I have ever had in the USA had! A double room consisted of two large queen-size beds (~1,50mx2,00m), the extremely soft and comfortable (so I after about 20h check in wonderful slept in) with two full bathrooms (2 showers, 2 toilets), large tv and iron, iron and hair dryer. What more could you ask for? Perfect! Minibar: available, however for a fee and a bit pricey.

24 45 mins drive from from O'Hare, very close to directly across from the city park. from the center with shopping centers and the Willis Tower or the John Hancock Center 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. Also found nearby the Shedd Aquarium, the harbor with pier as well as various restaurants and blues bars.

A really fantastic entrance, spacious lobby, but then. The room had certainly seen better days - and in a four star hotel could have been the window and also cleaned once. No you need the American trash (game console ) In the room, but a safe in the room (and is actually) with hotels of this level of course and actually felt like more than a useful guide. It just annoying, constantly walk to reception, for example the camera to the next days escapades only inconvenient to lock. If with Einrichtungsutensilien advertised as coffee machine in the room, it would ... be nice if the coffee not only after asking refilled. The entäuschendsten however the service of the hotel. We travel frequently and again about 60 times per year in hotels, there is a charge for storage of the luggage in the luggage room we have never paid in the world. Also, it would be nice if doorman not only to bellhops decoration in the area. But one would instead if you open the door with four suitcases abmüht. read more
