The hotel is already a somewhat older area, the for example in our room some spots (whether it mould was, we don't know) the stains were on one day treated/sprayed. Positive is the directly at the beach. Chairs were actually always available, only the shade (straw hats) were at 8 o'clock already all reserved. Who no frühaufsteher is, just had to in the blazing sun or a spot by the pool search, as there was at noon also still places under the strohhüten. The bathing area in the atlantic ocean is through a bojenkette separated. You can't walk far in ... the sea and the waves are quite high, so it is for non-swimmers (and children) not suitable. The service (so waiter, waiter, bartender) was friendly, in a good mood and helpful. With the english language is here, if you speak. At the check-in and check-out we had with Alexander to do, this could speak german, which was an advantage. At the front desk you could easily change money. You have to definitely not in pesos change, with dollars you can also everywhere are charged. Food there was several to choose from, however we had to 2 days everything by try. To 5 days you knew not any more, what you eat. In Germany i am not everyday the same! Once during our stay there was Paella at the beach, with crawfish, mussels, prawns. It was delicious. Otherwise is the food itself quite bland and tasteless. The dishes in the specialty restaurants (international and brazilian) did not blown away. Due to health issues we wanted to be our room only a small something food and from the buffet bananas and 2 small rolls in/out privileges. When leaving the dining room we were stopped and pointed out, that is not allowed. In such cases, or in excursions, the at 7 o'clock start (breakfast there was from 7 o'clock) it should be possible, be a small something with to get! As the building open and without windows are, it could happen, that a bird angeflattert and something from the plates cabbages. Ants crawling on the tables along, the cloth napkins were sometimes dirty. The best about the hotel were the evening shows and the massage, we had booked. The size of the room was okay, it was cleaned daily and towels every day changed. Filling up that mini bar took place only every 2 days and depending upon desire and mood, sometimes there was only water, then times Cola or another time Cola Light. So without system. We had in the room a coffee maker, so we tea or coffee could cook. Cups were 2 available, only no teaspoons to stir. A small something, the considered. All together the vacation was ok, but we would not stay check in or it's good. As we had already better hotels! Trips could be booked with the travel agent book in the hotel, these are about 30 €expensive than with a local providers. We had through www. extratours a trip with made, which was totally great. German, small group (10 people), price for the 60 €per person. (samana, Las Terrenas). If you want to make bath vacation, is in the north wrong.     Clean rooms, spacious and everything available, up the iron and ironing board (if you did, one needs) Minibar was refilled every two days, Cola, water, limo, beer was available, but such a small piccolo for the ladies i missed.

    There are three theme restaurants and the large buffet. Restaurant. The food was varied and deliciously prepared. Congratulations to the kitchen staff the every day for the eyes and a culinary highlight made. The staff in the bars and restaurants was always careful to our food and beverages concerned.     The short transfer time is to be welcomed. Nearby there is ( Playa Dorada) small shopping possibilities, whereas the same offer (in smaller form but cheaper) in the hotel's own small business gets. The hotel complex was nice and big but very well arranged. The hotel is very well-kept, the whole day are always gardeners underway to care the hotel. The breakfast is very plenty of fresh fruit juices, cereals is everything available. What is a real shame is the one for the internet very much have to pay, for a 5 star hotel it should be included as the safe in the room. read more

    The rooms are beautifully bright and spacious. If you want you can also tea or coffee it is a small coffee machine in the room, good i thought. The beds were in good condition slept like in heaven. The mini bar is every day with water, Sprite, beer and Cola refilled. The bathroom was nothing special however every day clean, and it was in the shower shampoo and shower gel available.

    For lunch there were a restaurant by the pool, where there are enough to eat, if you complained about the food should stay at home and his pork food.     The club own dance troupe was great, had each evening very good shows. Oh the entertainment was great have whole day a fun mood. A compliment to didi, babyface and popey. After 23 o'clock it in the disco where it was with the teenagers. Kudos from early morning until late in the night the entertainment team on the way. At the beach and at the pool were always enough chairs available, one never problems late still get some. The pool same was very large and clean, there were daily frequently taken.

    The transfer from the airport to the hotel takes about 30 minutes The beach can be reached by a few steps is quite central. We booked our excursions from our tour operator schauinsland booked. Was great! Never more from the beach boys. Had the mega truck extreme booked was perfect, paradise Iceland is Karibik relaxation with yacht, cocktails and so on. Was a dream.

The vacation was great. The service is huge class also without much tip always nice and friendly. The food was great too (plentiful and wide choice) if you didn't the real finds, it is your own fault. The beach is as far as very nice, however is the seaweed a bit annoying. The staff are always attentive the beach clean to keep, is just nature. For children i would like a right pool with slides or similar wish, but just for us it was really a superb vacation. The animation is also always nice and friendly and above all not ... intrusive! Who would like to be for those there are always something to moan about. Of course, there is here and there a broken tile or water tap the drips or something like that, but for us it was not an issue. If you had, then was immediately a technician there. read more

Very nice and relaxing vacation. The variety and quality of the dishes were excellent, the service was everywhere commendable. Especially we want time for the great service with all staff thank you. In the lobby: Mille grazie at kilvio, Mario and Edward for the great service. In the buffet restaurant when chef julio manzanilla and our favorite waiter Francisco garcia. The rooms were by the size and furnishing was okay. The safe in the room has additional fees cost, these should be in a star hotel inclusive, there was also the internet very expensive. The bathroom is our opinion in ... need of renovation, shower would be pleasant as bath tub, especially for older guests, bidet was recommendable. The entertainment and evening show was perfect, big praise to all the activity staff, you were great. read more

Great hotel, room is spacious and lcd tv (2 deutspr. Channels dw and ProSieben satellite. 1 world ), mini bar included internet connection costs 60 us dollar /week and in the entire hotel available! Food fulfilles all wishes and is of good quality! The fitness room with modern devices equipped! About us hotel there are unfortunately no shops (recommend the halbtagestripp to Puerto Plata) read more

The hotel isn't the newest but in good condition. The hotel is very well-maintained and clean. I was for christmas and new year's since and was thrilled by the extramenüs on these days. It would be not at all necessary been, the otherwise there was every evening great food gave, from salads, over fish, different types of meat, countless side dishes to several desserts. Even a cheese buffet there were often. For breakfast, there is also different freshly prepared juices and eierspeißen. The rooms are well equipped, width beds, mini bar, coffee machine, tv and even iron and ironing board. ... It was cleaned daily very thoroughly. Chairs are by the pool and beach sufficiently available. In december was on different days seegrag or seaweeds at the beach washed up every day (if necessary also several times) had been eliminated. If the hotel busy is in addition to the lunch in the restaurant and at the pool bar at the beach still Paella or barbecue made. That is a hotel which i definitely not for the last time visited. Since i was already a few years (09/2003) in this hotel was i a certain expectation on the hotel had. To be honest the hotel is great and the majority of of the staff were very nice, Lucia or Juan i just want to as an example for the great service call. But i had the room 5214 and, although i a more than reasonable tipping the result was not good. Near 2000 Euro per stay per person, it ought to be possible the for example the ashtray on the balcony not only after 3 days is taught. I am ... ourselves as craftsmen in Germany and must say that the service here definitely be improved should. read more

After rather disappointing stays in Punta Cana reconciled this hotel with the domenikanischen republic. The hotel is located close on the outskirts of the town from Puerto Plata. Discoverers are quickly in the town or reach the caribbean village (of course a wonderful tourist trap) over the beach. The beach is in the hotel area excellent well-kept and invited for long and pleasant walks. The beach vendors remain friendly and feel quite fast, if you don't go to the shop come. In the 3. walk i was barely addressed. The hotel and his infrastructure have already many years old, however ... is to summarize excellent condition. Small complaints in the room (broken chair on the terrace) in minutes. The staff are welcoming and spoke very good english. Many waiter tried also with a little german. All maps and instruction in the hotel in 4 languages and thus also in german laid out. Food and drinks service are despite all inclusive a high level. Fascinating for me was, that it in spite of the fully booked hotels (christmas/new year's eve) never shortage of tables or loungers at pool and beach there was. Circular route a recommendation for guests, the lively the Karibik like without dauerkarneval to life! read more

Already somewhat outdated hotel belongs to the smaller in Karibik. It is served from many of the staff with great zeal maintained and was hesitant. We should guests grateful show and these hardworking helpers from time to time give a tip. Their effort was unfortunately much too rare appreciated and rewarded. The guests (very many are repeaters) come from all over the world and also from the age everything was represented. My impression was, that german the largest group followed by americans and english have made. At the weekend were also many dominicans in the hotel. During the stay made ... rumours, that the contract with the english organizers to end of the season expires. But then we would have as a replacement a contract with russian tour operators. But that is as mentioned a ondit. read more

    I had a room in block 1, according to the statement the front desk already renovated. This may be true, but then at least in my room the bathroom forget. The rooms are big enough and functional decorated. The furniture is but already quite run down. There are a few extras such as coffee maker, iron and ironing board, and so on the not self-evident are. Annoying is only, that at the end the stay for the safe 2 Dollar per day in question. The mattresses are really good. I rarely in a hotel as well as in the Iberostar Costa Dorada slept. The mini bar should every 2 days new be fully stocked. On average it has also good, but sometimes was the population every day and sometimes it was 3 or more days apart. The cleaning in the bathroom was always perfect. The rest of the room but only those immediately see is cleaned. On the wall under the small bank for example with my arrival a blouse and a bra location. And with the excerpt 3 weeks later the two items still there.

    The breakfast was actually always the same. There is plenty of choice, but at the latest in the 3. week i found it boring. Lunch is a 5 star hotel not worthy. Here there were mainly fast food. The dinner i can only praise. Repeatedly everything after a week, but the choice is large enough, that you in 3 weeks not twice the same food should. This one does, but often voluntarily, because in the moment was so good, that you had to look forward to. My highlights were beside the fruits and the sauce tatare, the wonderful to salad and vegetables fits (definitely try), with bacon made rinderfiletstücke, the spare pids, the langostinos and the sirloin steak.

But unfortunately also with the iberoamerican gala the worst event in all my holidays. In this show tried lots of guests guessable, which was played.     The transfer from the airport only took about 30 minutes. The hotel lies at a north coast beautiful private beach, but a comparison with the south coast, Cuba or Mexico does not hold. Despite 'security' and belästigungsverbot the local seller of trips, massages, ' staubfängern'... But very. Especially if they discuss, you can't one more time the antics of the americans hear. The hotel's own beach was cleaned several times a day, but this is hopeless. Although everywhere rubbish bins and ashtrays, from many guests not used. But the then complain loudest in portals like this about. Outside the hotelstrands it is very dirty. In the hotel itself there are 3 very expensive shops. In the more immediate vicinity (10-15 minutes on foot) you can in little stores its items.

    The cleanliness undf hygiene left here much to be desired. At the pool bar there were totally dirty cushions, the tables were only rarely cleared and cleaned. Some guests have provisionally with a napkin the table was cleaned. This is by no means in a star hotel acceptable. Cooks wore here also no einmalhandschuhe-hygiene also not given.

This hotel has for me, more than 6 stars. Everything was just perfect. We had a suite the beautiful was, which in this hotel at service and food offered i have never seen. All of the staff were simply unbelievably nice, polite and helpful. Since my man at the 3. day of vacation urgently a doctor required (doctor practice in the hotel), he Has it saved their lives. He was immediately in a clinic admitted and great deals. Unfortunately he had to with a ambulance jet to be fetched. I would like to again with all in the hotel thanks ..., with me in the room were, until the doctor came. My special thanks also go to the travel guide. A wonderful on the costa dorada. The hotel offers all facilities a hotels this category, the complex as well as the beach are very well maintained. However there are in the surroundings ( easy to reach on foot) nothing. For this is directly in front of the hotel a taxi rank where the taxis substantially cheaper than from the reception organized. We had the vacation as bath and relaxing vacation planned and came fully at our expense. read more

We were for the second time in this hotel. As in last year it was again a great stay. The staff is in our opinion very attentive and friendly, they speak partly even some German. We were 16 days there, do not want to day like to missen and become surely again drive. Unfortunately by 3 days violent continuous rain some damage to the hotel's facade to the fore, which will hopefully soon fixed are. In short: super great vacation, we are atlantic! First, i was for the 6. time in a row in this hotel and we've always been completely satisfied. It has changed a lot, unfortunately for the negative. In the hotel was much, freshly renovated gartenteichanlagen and a newly landscaped very nice botanical garden. The flamingoteich was cleaned weekly, stinks but already times to the sky, because tourist constantly bread for the animals throw in. But you can tell the hotel its age. When the motion is stronger rain run in many places by the cover in particular in the restaurant el -Mercado but also in the hallways in front ... of the travel agency, there are tons of buckets and bucket rum not everything was completely flooded. To the structure of roofs seems urgently reparaturbedarf to be available. Apart from that, the hotel is still as beautiful as ever. I have very many met nice people, from german to english up to americans. read more

    The very nice designed room was equipped with everything that you need. Air conditioning, ceiling fan, flat screen tv, everything is available. Also a mini bar, which every 2. day should be restocked, but only after warning the maids really happened. More i had problems as with the cleanliness. It is not acceptable, that you already schimmelndes towel than fresh in the bathroom hung get. Already when entering of the room was in the bathroom the deckenablüftung and the outlet in desperate mold infested, which after dun then however immediately cleaned.

    The food has i personally always tasted, if my standards a bit too often rice in 7 kinds of. Luckily but 3a 4 times the week really delicious bbc speare ribs. Also fish and meat there was enough, unfortunately, sometimes (depending on the chef) also completely dead roasted and dry. Really i missed the seafood of recent years like for instance the large prawns and shrimp, the it at least twice the week there was (if not even often like for instance the strandpaella ), only shells there was very often. Unfortunately in the el -Mercado (breakfast/lunch/dinner ) about the cleaning. Not rarely were the bekleckerten tablecloths from noon also still in the evening on the table. Plates and cutlery you had to before exactly, because sometimes still leftovers of the predecessor on it were (a quality control after the dishwasher there are apparently not). As annoying i found the guitars-trio, which falschspielend each pleasant atmosphere made, both in the el -Mercado, as well as in the specialty restaurants.

Unfortunately the safe (2$ per day) and wi-fi (5 $for 30 minutes or 60 $for the week) still liable to pay the costs what a hotel in this class actually inclusive should be. New (and for me absurd) is, that you now also extra ipads for 20 $per day can rent (sorry, but since i prefer my smartphone and get a local sim card for under 1000 Peso for fourteen days with internet flat). When technical problems (when i was in the room the light broken) was immediately a technician before place around to repair it.

    At the sporting activities i mainly on the arc-and air rifle shooting limited (unless eddie had the line ) but also stretching, stepärobik and Tennis are offered. But i used the beautiful, large pool, the cleaned daily and in the middle a jacuzzi offers. The entertainment team was always friendly and entertaining, here special thanks at dee dee, Pepsi and gg. The evening shows were really great, both dancers, as well as the star band, which mostly but extremely too loud were, but rather on the dj are, the dealing with a mixer probably not in the grasp had. Evening entertainment in the lobby was often only with hands and feet or by screaming possible.

    The hotel is about 20 minutes from the airport and 5 minutes from Puerto Plata away. Sadly one saw trash and dirt once you leave the grounds at the beach towards the Plaza leaves, but can the hotel itself nothing, but apparently neither with the nachbargrundstücksinhabern with the municipality of Puerto Plata thus apart. I then in both directions but rather the walk on the main street used, it is in comparison to beach very clean. The hotel's own beach is very well maintained and nice, was several times cleaned daily.
