The hotel is nice and makes a tidy impression, the way to the beach leads through a pine forest as shadow donors, only with the room takeover, we are not very pleased defendendo.
Upon arrival we found that the bedding from the previous person made was, it was wrinkled and the sheet was sand, in the bathroom there was the waste from this available.
After complaining was not changed only after 4 nights were the beds freshly referred and which is not the standard, the in a 4 sterneherberge the rooms with chlorine cleaned is unbelievable, with of the toilet ... cleaning on the complex are pleasant detergents are used.

Very well maintained wide spread hotel area. For hiking perfectly suited. Pool area for children uninteresting (no slides). Facilitities are very remote. On foot no places to reach. However, it was never boring. read more

Simply brilliant! In such a great hotel we have long vacation more spent. It all simply came together and our 4 -headed family (2 adults + 2 children between 12 and 16 years) was very happy.
The complex is acceptable but nevertheless very clear, very clean and very well-kept.
Staff were absolutely friendly, check in and-out were problem-free. The food really great, with tiny exceptions. Very good selection of salads. Dining room consisted of 5 rooms (and covered places outside), was really large, elegant and exactly clean, as facilities itself. Pizza tasted sublime, as fresh from the open. Grilled dishes ... were absolutely good, drinks adequate. Wine definitely not very good, but enjoyable. À-la-carte -restaurants we didn't use, so can't write here.
There were two types of beer at the pool bar: wheat beer and normal - very good. Also cocktails were absolutely enjoyable. in the dining room there was only the normal beer.
2 pools each with a water fall available, of which a pool huge, with very lots of space for all possible activities.
Pine forest directly in front of our room ( double room comfort), thus very short way to the beach. The forest smelled wonderful after fresh, and evenings, if you at the beach want to run, was the way by lanterns lit. If you however be room at the other end the hotel had, was the way to the beach around some longer.
Beach restaurant large, with very good food, drinks and ice. Next door, in the same' building', a beach bar available. If you not to the lunch to the main restaurant want to walk, is right at home here. But you should not in the bikini appear, which is natural. Full service and cleanliness is ok also guaranteed.
At the beach are chairs and sunscreens free of charge. The water middle October still very warm. Swimming was therefore a pleasure. Left and right from the beach not a single soul to see and no other development available - pure nature for gourmets.
Medium grain pebble beach, not at all uncomfortable for the feet.
Sports facilities in the hotel we didn't use, because in the morning at the beach location, in the afternoon on the way. You could however everything possible there, what with the word 'sport' had to do: archery, table tennis, soccer, Tennis, fitness room, Volleyball, and so on ( fitness room is however with €5, -/ day subject to a charge).
Children and all other come evenings benefit from the shows, the regularly outside, in case it's not raining, take place. We have one evening the' Michael Jackson Show' looked at, which was good, however due to rain, short before the end, had to be cut. The arena is not against rain protected, because probably in the peak season not necessary.
Afterwards there was other entertainment, like disco or outside the ' one-man -music-show ', the very to the dance or enjoyment invited.
Evening chill-out corners everywhere at the main building available. Also the shisha ar could be used, but only at a charge. But there was a separate room with a beautiful ambience provided.
With good weather you could at the beach-disco ( to midnight) participate, what quite unusual, but great, was. Since no other installations or houses nearby available, could the music really loud untwisted are.
In front of the hotel, on the same site, you could be on a large parking parking, as very helpful was, if one on the way was.
Receptionists very friendly and accommodating. Very good German-speaking.
All together were our day of vacation with so much comfort very quickly. We wanted to for the first time not at all back to Germany, we can therefore imagine, there again vacation to spend. The hotel and the atmosphere there is really excellent, serene, friendly and not really to beat. We have for 5 days, all inclusive, €470, --a unbeatable top -price.
P. S. in October 2012 the liter diesel about 1.81 Euro,- cost, super 1.91 Euro,-.
Tips:
Pizzo is in our opinion more interesting than tropea. Especially but 'only' 10 kilometer away. Who old towns like, is however with both satisfied. Pizzo has a something else flair; is somehow comfortable but also weirder. Everywhere are narrow stairs available, the between the buildings are. You have the feeling, you lost it, but these always lead serpentinenmäßig to any destination or other street.
Boat excursion to Stromboli we have unfortunately not can use (for lack of time), but again and again is, how exciting it is. Certainly the next time.
The äoli islands if you saw.
Catanzaro is worth a visit, although nothing special interesting. The most interesting thing to is the location on the mountain, the view down and in the far. Near beautiful weather you can see there supposedly all the two seas: the tyrrenische and the ionian. Even Stromboli and the vesuvius, nice be visible read more

The hotel is huge, however the complex yes. Thus runs everything. It is true, that during dinner times a little traffic is, but that you can accept.
The cleanliness we can only say: room are kept very clean and the whole area is very well maintained. A complaint was settled immediately. With questions one is very helpful.
We had aiu and were therefore it was often in the 'Dolce Vita' to eat, it is especially good.
The guests were mainly (about 80%) german and the staff - except for the cleaner spoke more or less good german. There was no ... problems communicating. read more

A very beautiful area for the length of the stay up to a week. Afterwards you feel 'caged', because no tenders outside of the complex, in particular no access to public transportation and the car rental offers, since no competition, overpriced.
The selection of food was rather monotonous and only average quality. The wines as a part of of the all inclusive-offer were very took some getting used to, beer and not alcoholic beverages against good. Water was in any case to get.
The hotel beach and the way through a small forest were ok, the immediate area resembles however ... more like a rubbish dump.
Particularly for a longer stay not recommendable.
Note also, that from 1-9-12 a bettensteuer of a Euro per person and night will be charged. read more

We are a 4 -headed family arrived and were very pleased with the size of the room( family room) surprised.
The rooms were daily properly cleaned, we had in any case no reason to complain.
The staff at front desk/ bars and restaurant was everywhere directly friendly and helpful.
The hotel itself is very nice and clean - the pool' s big and not crowded-we were however mostly at the beach.
We had a rental car therefore the secluded location of the hotel relatively no matter and the evening one could very well on the Piazza drink.
Which we however ... complain about is, the bar only with prior was filled -1 time per day water per person would be ok. Been.

Than Roulette booked. Hotel Rocca Nettuno tropea by directly buchern full, so we were in the garden brought.

It was one of our most beautiful vacation. The dreamlike facilities laed very for walking again.
The staff are very friendly and tries the vacation make it as pleasant as possible.
Knowledge of German are ok.
The entertainment team was just great.
The wellnisanlage also of the finest quality.
Food was very tasty and there is something for everyone.

We had all-inclusive-plus and were able to Dolce Vita restaurant after registration eat out.
The promised by sonnenklar highly praised restaurant was everything but excellent!
We were several times food and every time the food was cold.
No pre-heated plates. Despite complaint to the 'head waiter' was the food again after a while coldly served.
Besides on the rooms there were no possibility television, since simply no device were there.
On 28 October 12 we left. The buses for the airport-transfer there were about 40 minutes is required, without that the people get could. Only when a strong downpour on ... us herabprasselte, they left us and get the luggages in the pouring rain invited.
A cheek the driver and the travel guide their guests opposite.
As we to check out we were demanded to all tiredness even tax of us.

The complex is actually very beautiful, only the whole construction in the years and have higher maintenance necessary. Unfortunately on the whole area many wasps. The area is kept very clean.

Finally once again a week the daily grind escape this is what we wanted. And we also succeeded there.
In the dark arrived the start maybe not what we expected. First to wait to errahren in which hotel we will-as we had Roulette booked! The check in went fast-only our room/house on the spacious facilities in the dark to find then but took a moment.
Our room we found disappointing-for for example wheelchair users thought there was in the bathroom and room for our purposes of a lot of unused capacity. In the bathroom were washbasin and mirror deeper put ..., so that my husband stoop and also the toilet was accordingly furnished-which in principle a great thing is, but we felt in this room not very comfortable.
By guests, the visited a couple of days were there we learned, that we at the front desk after an upgrade ask. We were asked on the next day after check out again to ask. And it worked out we could for €6.00 a day a beautiful room (just as one it from the crystal clear tv advertisement knew ) on the first floor with a view of the wonderful spacious pool area move. (by the way was our room always clean and my husband the large back problems has, always had a good night's sleep! )

Food was always really good, one always found something delicious and was nothing on the one had straight desire. Pasta was always-delicious!
The selection for breakfast was plentiful. Ok - sometimes - depending on when you for breakfast came it took a bit longer until you to its mirror/scrambled eggs, and the later you came even less choice at the brottheke. However you are not allowed forget we have vacation in Italy made, i think does not exist the choice like at home. If you miss it should stay at home. So for us it was never a problem.
The coffee picked up from the automat. As you could from different sorts of and it was here something there for every taste.
The staff were always friendly, cheerful and quick. I have never had such a friendly industrious staff -except for the chef, the looked mostly sour and smelly.
Recommendable also the Dolce Vita - make reservations the day before. A very nice ambience and good food!
The whole hotel area is extremely generous and green - just great.
The many holidayers could except for the meal times not at all, whereas you always space in the outdoor area or dining room found.
The swimming pool was always clean and maintained-only the water was damn cold (well at the end of october stop) bibber bibber \u263a there was the meerwärmer!
The entertainers were always friendly and the joke and never obtrusive. What we had expected.
We specially enjoyed the regular evening live music at the bar. Unfortunately the da at 23 o'clock end. Since we had still hours can listen. We hope, that we on our next stay the benefit can get!
Also here the staff were super nice, friendly and always up for a joke.
The service at the tables with glasses clearing clean and was also very attentive and fast.
The only downer at the rocca netuna garden: the remoteness the hotel. There you had to perhaps from the side the hotel management but consider. Always an expensive trip book to get out is not everyone thing. And car for one week or taxi is quite expensive.
But overall a nice and relaxing vacation we will definitely gladly again.
Definitely again a great praise for the complete staff, wether room, restaurant bar or front desk- we only friendly competent and dedicated people met! read more

We booked through sonnenklar the Roulette and in the Rocca Nettuno Garden landed. We regret this at any time. It was a very nice and relaxed vacation. You don't have to worry about anything, itself the luggages are brought to the room and on the day of departure also picked up again. The food was excellent. Wide selection of food, if you didn't find anything here, it is your own fault. The staff were always friendly and accommodating. All could speak german well, or understand. The rooms were very clean. Especially worth mentioning is the beautiful well-kept garden area. The ... path to the beach through a small forest was a nice change to the usual strandgängen. Very nicely laid out area consisting of several building complexes. Mostly two-storied, to our delight no hotel stronghold! Spacious rooms with a large bathroom. Everywhere garden, which is very well-kept. Everything very clean! We had all-inclusive, we would recommend to everyone.
The guests were at our time mainly from Germany, Austria and Sweden. Ages mixed. read more

The area is very extensive, still well arranged and very clean. We had in the house the sports huge rooms at gables on the 2. floor including huge terrace with a view of the tennis courts. With the room cleaning we were satisfied, i am sure even a little bit better, but there are in this category also much worse. All floors were tiled, you will see the chunks rather than on the carpet. We had originally booked half board and right on the 2. day on all-inclusive transferred, this has already alone at drinks easily out. Even if all ... around only greenhouses or agricultural area is, everyone gets a colored wristband for the duration of his stay about his wrist.
