Hotel Ramada Resort Khao Lak^{(4 stars)}

As we posted jacuzzi room had all our expectations met and corresponds in all aspects the description. The furnishing is modern, the closet with three sliding doors offers more than enough storage space and the bed was as well as the cleanliness in the room the best. The bathroom area was a sliding glass door between the toilet and a large shower area, which larger 'water games' in the wet area been effectively prevented. The furnishings is with a safe, the possibility to coffee or tea and a tv with dvd player, the offered standard. We had contrary to all the advice our stay with half board booked and it had not repented. The food in the restaurant Sassis was very varied; the menu in german language on the one hand, international dishes, on the other side thai cuisine of a very good quality and also for the eye well served. Although the prices for food and drinks higher than in the restaurants in the area are, the brilliant atmosphere directly at the beach compensated anyway for. In our opinion fits into a so great hotel not every evening a food on garden chairs in the streetside restaurant, the is however a matter of opinion. Breakfast is in short great, in terms of selection, quality, Service and the premises (especially in the garden area) is concerned. Instead of coffee can also Cappuccino or similar be ordered. During our many vacations to different countries We so good service have never met. The kindness and attention the complete staff Is hard to exceed. Wether in the pool- or beach, in the restaurant, for breakfast or at the front desk, everywhere you courteous and exceedingly friendly served. The colloquial language is in spite of the high percentage of german-speaking guests were english, but it works everything great, in a pinch is the sympathetic general manager, mr vorderleitner, still for their guests there.

The very nice and tidy pool area next to the already mentioned good service water aerobics at, the however only sparsely used. More entertainment in our opinion also not necessary and doesn't to this hotel. The best thing is the use of sufficient existing beach chairs beach and pool without reservierungsstress, because the very attentive staff prepares for each guest its wuschliege with 2 large towels and umbrella before. A large locker room is also available, the toilet's in the pool area were always clean.

Directly at the most beautiful beach section of Khao Lak located house in managable size. The very well maintained facilities through the mostly german guests a peaceful oasis. The amazing service, the extremely friendly emplo-ployee, as well as the good gastronomy this hotel perfect. We booked the jacuzzi -room is very well furnished and very clean, like also the remainder the hotel.

Directly at the most beautiful and clean beach section of Khao Lak. To the surrounding restaurants and shops are only a couple of minutes. A taxi rank is located on the corner in front of the hotel. Excursions in the surroundings in the hotel or also be booked on site. Especially recommendable here is the organizers' the straubinger ', with the two trips have done. We had a pool villa and simple thrilled by this room. Equipment and size were great. Because we however only little in the room were and above all the beach enjoyed would be a normal room enough been. However the furnishings the pool villas is fantastic.

The breakfast in the kitchen was alright and the selection enough. Eggs were freshly prepared. In the sassi's restaurant we were only once, since in the area many beautiful restaurants are. The buffet mile italian speciaties was very fine, pleasant atmosphere. As everywhere here the prices in the hotel opposite the other restaurants expensive. Whereas the lunch snacks and also the buffet evenings not overpriced.

The kindness of the employees was noticeably positive. All give themselves large trouble, to fulfill every request and very sociable. Because of the size know the employees quickly the guests. The communication in english not a problem. The room was always clean cleaned.

Entertainment is not large instead. There are regular hours, however, nobody to 'forced', which very pleasant was. The staff around the pool and the chairs give huge effort and take always ready for a conversation time. Beach chairs, umbrellas and beach towels are always abundant and a reservation is not in the early morning necessary. Very pleasant.

Relatively small hotel with 116 rooms, of which 8 ocean front villas, 8 pool villas and 24 deluxe jacuzzi rooms. The whole complex and also the room is very clean and well cared for. Wi-fi in the whole hotel area easy. Many austrians, german and swiss, a pleasant mix of the guests. The average age was relatively high. We can only recommend the hotel.

The Ramada is located directly on a beautiful sandy beach, just gorgeous location. Several restaurants and shops are on foot easily accessible. To Khao Lak circa 5-minute drive. Transfer to the airport-hotel took about 1 hour. But if ramba zamba and discos to in the early morning searches is in Khao Lak in the wrong place.

The pool in the villa has about a size of 4 times 5 meters (estimated, have not measured). A dream. There is also outside then a shower, a lounge corner and two pool chairs. The villas should be so about 65 square meters large. There is a bedroom and a separate bathroom with jacuzzi, shower, large mirror with 2 places and toilet. Is available also an espresso machine, minibar and a kettle. Also lots of different small goddies. Wireless internet, telephone, tv and a dvd player are also available.

The breakfast is very international. Sassi beach and the pool bar offer international cuisine, but also many typical thai dishes. The prices are for a hotel this category ok, but at the beach you can also very good food and it is already a lot cheaper.

We were very, very warmly welcomed, this was after long flight beautiful. Since we are so late in the hotel were, we then something to eat to the room ordered. In 15 minutes we were a delicious thai dinner and arranged. Delicious! The pool and seashore is the whole day of a great team. Even at the umbrellas one worries regularly, therefore also no guest get a sunburn. Towels are of course by the pool/ beach. Our room cleaning was always top! Once we have a trip in mind the sign to change. When we at 15 o'clock were there, was of course not cleaned (do not disturb). We are then again to the beach and it then actually still being cleaned. It actually speaks any english, sometimes more, sometimes less good. We have as english spoken, but that a or other word of german understands the team to part. We had however never confusion! Additionally there are main building child services, the coffe bar and a gym with treadmill, barbells etc. By the pool is also the spa center.

Beach chairs, umbrellas, showers and pool: everything in an immaculate state! Entertainment was also offered, but we didn't take part in it and more importantly... Not much hear a thing! The beach is cleaned in the morning and is therefore always very clean.

A wonderful front desk with a view of the garden and pool area with the surrounding rooms. These are from the front desk on the basis in a art u-shape around the pool and garden. The rooms are on three floors and have a private terrace or balcony. In the back part are the pool and seaview villas. When we saw it, there are 4 seaview villas in the first row, separated by a small green from the beach. At the beach is also the sassi beach. There, there are lunch and dinner. You can lunch but also at the pool bar eat. A unofficial red light district at the beach,, and the pool, there was then enough sunbeds and umbrellas. We only booked with breakfast and this left nothing to be desired. Much, of course, completely classically for a hotel this category, but you can, if you want, also thai breakfast. We had the whole stay free wi-fi access in the villa. But there are in the coffe shop mellow bean and there, there are internet access, but also coffee etc. , books, games and so on. While we were there, there were mostly german speaking guests on site. But also scandinavians, austrians, english, french.

Unbelievably beautiful right on bang niang beach. A sandy beach, relatively clear, quite warm water. This is always a little on the surf at. Actually is bang niang there is also a private place, but now with to Khao Lak counted. At the beach you can great food go, whether it be lunch or dinner. We were for example very gladly with tonson, the directly at the beach next to the Ramada is. Who rather in this area remains (Khao Lak/bang niang), it is quiet. If you from the hotel the road high is, are there some bars and restaurants and relatively few for shopping. What we do on vacation also do not need. In addition there is obviously many well as massage studios (reliable) and schneider (very, very annoying. Particularly the first nearby the ramada) and several small changing offices are true. The exchange rate is ok, in the bank one gets maybe 1-2 Bhat more per €. You can but also with the taxi to Khao Lak Center drive, about 3 kilometer and circa 150 Bhat (or cheaper). The taxi rank is directly at the Ramada around the corner. The transfer from phuket to Ramada took a good hour.

We had a ocean front villa and it was really great.

Big breakfast, it wasn't missing anything.

Nice and modern hotel, in the us still 2 days remaining. We were very comfortable what the waiters and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff have contributed. Here we have a oceanfront villa us extremely well liked. It has a great view on the sea and lots of space. The cleanliness is always, only in the first days a smell of 'mothball' or similar was available. We had up to now a wonderful vacation, whereas the weather in spite of the best time to travel not so very nice, it was often cloudy. But it was always nice and warm and the sea for us prospective 28 degrees. As already from many described, one has here very close good shopping and restaurants. Shops and restaurants are in the immediate vicinity, maximum in 5 minutes walking distance.

We had a jacuzzi room with a beautiful balcony. Because we want to go again next year, we have also different rooms and we can only say, that there are no bad room in this resort is.

What more can you say. The breakfast buffet is very varied. It wasn't missing anything. Even coffee or Cappuccino were freshly brewed. The service was very attentive, everything was quickly cleared away, refilled, refilled. And queue for a place we have not even experienced. The lunch by the pool were excellent and with 150-180 Bhat not too expensive. The dinner we only once in the Sassis restaurant, but also here there was nothing to complain about.

Also here we can the previous reviews only follow. The service is especially positively highlighted. Every member of staff seems with pleasure the wishes of the guests to fulfill. The good work climate was us by the staff also confirmed. And there were a small something to criticize, was the problem that was solved immediately. We felt at any time very well.

The pool is large enough, so that always enough space for swimming. The entertainment was not very good. Diving courses in the pool, water polo. The liegestuhlangebot is large enough. Also in the late morning we got still a good place, although the hotel was fully booked during our stay. For sufficiently shade, so you want, the team Toh caring and unobtrusive.

As already hundredfold described the hotel complex in a very tidy state. Each employee is around the hour focused on the wellbeing of the guests.

The hotel is located at the most beautiful beach section of ban niang. The small town with numerous, good and inexpensive restaurants is also only a few minutes' walk away.

The size of the rooms was absolutely sufficient and functional decorated. The air conditioning worked perfectly and was very quiet.

The service is in this hotel left nothing to be desired no matter where we in the hotel were everywhere a smile and the feeling We are welcome. Particular emphasis should be on two guys of the pool tho and thong they were always for all tourists and cared for you care without being intrusive. Room cleaning was okay. The entire staff spoke very good overall english.

Hotel is very beautiful and lies directly at the beach. Rooms are generous designed and above all very quiet. Breakfast was very diverse and as we find Something for everyone. There were for the großsteil german and swiss guests in the hotel. The best by the pool pleased it was the reserving of the beach chairs is not allowed. We had a deluxe oasis room and wouldn't again make. It is everything available, which one needs (kettle, tea, coffee, water, refrigerator, minibar, bathrobe, slippers, and so on.) And the room has a good size (about 40 square meter), but the furniture are totally worn, drawers terminals, wardrobe is too small. In the bathroom there is a large bath stone/concrete, the cracks and quite stained-dirty looks. The wannenarmatur was totally furred. Even if one bubble bath-or salt available had (which was not the case), this should tub not for swimming invited. On the balcony there is a totally uncomfortable bank, the actually only looks good. All this applies to both of our rooms. I would therefore more like a jacuzzi room recommend, should newer. And if you can afford it, is of course nothing about the gorgeous nearby beachfront bungalows.

We had only booked breakfast, what because of the many reasonable and good restaurants in the immediate vicinity definitely recommendable is. In the restaurant 'the kitchen' inside or sit outside. We were different times there, but always a table got, were immediately with drinks supplies and had never somewhere at the buffet queue. There are always a few ladies with coffee and tea through the area and after, you can but also for example Cappuccino, Latte Macchiato or a pot of earl grey get. Selection and taste of the food was good. Only the choice in the bread and the quality the rolls did not find i so great. The lye pastry again was very delicious. The fruit i fresh mangoes missed. One day i saw but, that other guests mangos on the plate had, even though it wasn't on the buffet were. One had to simply a chef questions, and then was a fresh sliced mango serves. But were not every day what-you had to just have to get lucky. In the restaurant sassi's we ate only once, because we had a gift card. We chose the evening with the thai buffet decided. The food was very good and in addition there was still a small folklore show, the us good pleased. Every evening in the sassi's another buffet offered, but you can à la carte food. The prices couches naturally far beyond the local. In the afternoon between 16 and 17 o'clock is happy hour at of the pool bar.

Before the trip i sent an email requested, a room with two beds in the top floor to get. We arrived late (20 hours) and got in the true sense of the word the last room. The door and we frowst and strong smell mothballs contrary to. Of course, it was in the middle floor and only had one bed. We asked for a room change. The ladies at the reception strove much, move we could however only after two nights in this room. Then we were given but the, which we had wished itself. Entire staff was very friendly. English language skills were always available, german not at all.

Luckily there are no animation. Beach chairs and umbrellas by the pool, in the garden and at the beach in sufficient number available. Although the hotel was fully booked, could at any time vacancies, although definitely not in the first beach row. During our stay a few children were there, it was by the pool relatively loud, so we mostly beach chairs at the beach very good.

The hotel had a pleasant size. Although it during our stay was fully booked, was everywhere plenty of space available. Nevertheless short distance, for example the breakfast room, or to the pool. Cleanliness and condition good overall, but some spots in need of an overhaul. Guests mainly from the Switzerland, Austria and Germany. Many couples 50+, but also some families with children between 0 and 16.

A perfect situation there is not at all! The complex located on a beautiful stretch of beach. Unlike other hotels nearby there is even beach chairs directly at the beach. Right next to the hotel some good restaurants and bars and the possibility various providers at the beach massage. Five-minute walk is the small town of bang niang with many restaurants, small supermarkets, souvenir stores, tailors (where you also cheap his clothes cleaners can, 1 kilogram for 35 Bhat), tour operator and so on.

The furnishings the room are very good. We had a room of the category deluxe oasis room. The cleanliness was every day very good.

The whole staff is very friendly and willing to help. It is a team. You can jealous are. Once the code to the safe didn't work. Not a problem. Within a short time it was taken care of.

Very nice and clean hotel. We will come since 3 years in this hotel and it's like the last time. Super It is a team working together. A strong praise at all of the staff

Once you drop and you're right at the beach. Also the distance to the restaurants and the shopping is nearby. If further away are plenty of taxi's available.

The size the room is ideal. The free wi-fi in the room worked almost flawlessly. The cleaning the room was perfect, there was everything from cotton sticks to shaving things. The mini bar is well stocked, chips, nuts, kinderlutscher etc. , however european prices.

The breakfast was perfect delicious. For the relatively small hotel was a huge selection and it actually gave to everything your heart desires. By pasta with scampi for frühstücfk, fresh fruits also litschee, pomelo, fruit and so on. For who wants it can also in the lawn its breakfast. The coffee is very strong, but very good. Which recommendable is, the thai evening with buffet. Food was great. It danced children and adults about 1,5 hours thai dances right between the tables. A really successful idea.

We had no complaints, therefore, i can also say anything about that. With english one comes through very well, but the thais a bit incomprehensible english. The friendliness is absolutely alright, however, me Karibik the characters better. Is maybe a matter of taste.

The pool was to our travel time very warm. The condition of the pool and the water was clean. The boys even came and asked from time to time, whether the umbrella for more shade slip should. Towels you got two-one for extra, one for the head. Including was on the couch even a pillow. Very comfortable. At the sport we didn't take part, there unfortunately i cannot say anything. It was a lot offered, but you can get it through the very small groups not at all so with.

It is a very quiet located hotel. You can hear neighbors, ideal for relaxing. Wi-fi everywhere even on the couch by the pool and the beach available. In our residential buildings were just new router installed. Great thing. However, if you remidemi searches, is here in the hotel runs, from 10:00 p. m. there is nothing more to drink. However a few meters before the hotel is a great long street with bars, restaurants, etc. These include a bit late, it is not half of the night. The room service was good, in the evening there was always a sweet sweet.

As mentioned above, there is a few meters before the hotel a street with shops, restaurants, tailor, what a really cheap suit, shirt, wedding dress etc. Sew. A tailored shirt for example costs about 25 Euro. Airport transfer took about 1,5 hours, is however a very interesting travel. You can see in front of the houses the haunted houses of the families, elephants at the street etc.
