The hotel 'the Ludwig' is a part of the hartl resort, to still further hotels in bad griesbach are. It is a relatively large hotel with several buildings and private spa/wellnessbereich. In the lobby there are the possibility for free internet access. The hotel offers possibilities for families (for example child services ) but also for all ages (for example golf, fitness, spa, etc.). Our price was included half board. read more

    Our room was comfortable (style) and equipped with 2 chairs, bench, table, cupboards, safety deposit box, flatscreen tv (with unfortunately grieseligem picture), as well as a bathroom with a big shower. Also our room still on a small balcony.

    There are two restaurant in the hotel, the main restaurant, as well as the restaurant 'the current '. We only used the main restaurant and were very satisfied. The breakfast, as well as the dinner there was in buffet form, which definitely no wishes left leaves. It is always freshly and constantly refilled. The atmosphere was because of the very nice the staff was always very pleasant. In the field of the lobby is the bar of the hotel where you amongst others also the sky sports channel to watch or comfortably on a open log fire its beverages can.

    The hotel has lots to offer, starting with the free pick-up service from the train station karpfham on a very friendly and courteous reception, a welcome drink upon arrival, a daily handout to all the activities in and around the hotel to bathrobe, towels and slippers for the use the thermal baths/sauna. Very positive we found the attentions of the hotel opposite ' geburtstagskindern' (table in the restaurant was especially set, congratulations card in the room including free drink voucher for the bar). Only fly in the ointment: for the return trip we have a higher room rate paid as thought. We had the room already 1 year in advance to the then valid conditions (with 15% early booker discount). You pointed out us a year ago when booking point out, that is the prices possibly still be able to change, but missed us prior to this amendment to inform (in 2013 there is the early booker discount not more). They could have informed beforehand, it would be for us absolutely okay and would not have the negative surprise at check-out run.

    The hotel is in the local ' bad griesbach-thermal baths' and is about 2 kilometers away of bad griesbach. Who by train arrive, get off in the station karpfham and as a special service of the hotel the free pick-up service to use (login required). There is also a direct bus service from Passau to bad griesbach therme (travel time about 1 hour). From the train station karpfham was also the possibility by train to Passau or Landshut to drive. Who by car be car in a covered garage. Around the hartl resort there is a possibility extensively and golfing. Some small shops are available.

One of the larger hotel in bad griesbach, everything was very tidy and clean. From the ages were all classes represented, however already with a tendency to higher age out. Predominantly german, but also austrians and italians. We had a double room with half board. read more

    Had bad luck in this case someone, the only overnight stay with breakfast had, because the food was the best! We had determined, the ' Dine around' offer, but we ultimately because of the excellent evening theme buffets let alone. For breakfast was missing from a pfelsaft to the w- eißwürsten nothing.     As one it in such a house presents, were several thermal pools and saunas available. When many kids were there, it can in the interior area also already times louder, well, it is a family hotel. In the room you get two towels, for saunagänger of course far from enough. But you can at the front desk still get some for you. In the spa area are no more, if you're lucky, is the lifeguard to the predetermined handtuchtauschzeiten (twice an hour daily) was actually. If not, one had stop pitch and remains on the wet things sit!

If you're looking for varied food sets is in the wrong place here, instead of the catalog auschgeschriebene themed buffet there were 4 days food of d. menu ; furthermore it was very cold in the dining room (winter garden) and had to for a very long time the food wait (which with a child not so easy). For children there were as a part of the all inclusive-meals as drinks only ice tea or water. Was in november 2012 still very well which kinderverpflegung subject. In general the hotel has since november 2012 around 50% deteriorated. read more

The hotel should be, is however none. When we arrived, we should first fixed operate. Before a hello said (my mother must not). Apparently trust families. It is saved where it only goes. The food is not approximately worth 4 stars. Also the service is a catastrophe. Wishes are ignored. The bottle of water the complete vacation to the room. For kids is except for the care is not much was offered. Everywhere in the hotel it and there were many sick. The value for money is spot on not. We are even after a day again disappointedly. We could ... the whole night not sleep, because it was so loud. read more

Great hotel, great service, wonderfully furnished, clean rooms and a very good, varied food. This hotel you can really recommend with a good conscience. Especially positively mentioned should be the swimming lessons for adults, by atmosphere Martin be held. I have here finally (after 35 years!) A swimming instructor found, the me free of fear, the swimming was taught. Therefore i would, in this way, once again with atmosphere Martin thank you! Next year i will book this hotel again. read more

It was a really great short break in this hotel. There the weather it was very bad we could the area not explore, but these are in the summer/ autumn catch up. The hotel has everything which one in this price category. The hotel's hot springs with three pools and various saunas are very nice and tidy. The restaurant with its grown structure lots of different spaces from modern to bavarian. The food was always freshly prepared and modern stages. A special mention for the chefs. The rooms are of average size all had a balcony and nice bathrooms. For ... our stay we got a free upgrade on two rooms with connecting door (which our daughter naturally very pleased). In the spa area was competent and friendly received on our needs. Only the check in was not ideal, but in a single employee was the cause. Value for money is reasonable here to 100% more can and you can in Germany with a 4 star hotel not expected. We will be back! read more

The hotel is located in a freshly renovated condition. The rooms are cozily furnished. In the hotel there is a swimming pool, kids club and everything which one in such a way to a 4 + star holiday. Especially worth mentioning is the sensational swimming school, led by Martin, it understands the children with lots of fun the swim to teach. The kids club, under the leadership of Simone worth mentioning. With her team great the children accepted and the children have felt good. read more

    The rooms are in good condition and comfortably furnished. We had two double rooms with connecting door as a family room. It was cleaned every day and we had no complaints.

    There is a 'buffet' restaurant in the the breakfast, lunch (however, only our kids there as part of from 'kids all immediate vicinity' eaten) and dinner. For breakfast one has free place space, for the dinner is for the time a table reserved.     There is an indoor/outdoor pool with 30 °c, a termallpool outside with 38 degrees and a hot tub with 39 degrees. The pools are clean and will be at any time of a/a lifeguard /-in well maintained. There are towel service and bathrobes for children and adults... Furthermore, a swim school in the hotel angesiedlt. The head of this school, Martin and the whole is just can only be recommended. There is also the kids club during our stay 7 days each from 09:00 to 21:00 occupied. Our kids loved it and every morning there. The team around Simone is very good on the needs of children and it is for all ages something for everyone. Every night there is also evening entertainment with different themes, times history of reading, cinema or kids disco.

    The hotel lies at the edge of bad griesbach. This is a spa town and if you 'Halli Galli' expected the not find. You can in little stores fashion and shoes, a supermarket is however definitely not within walking distance. There is a large thermal bath. The whole is rather suitable for a quiet holiday with a lot of walking and recovering suitably.

Besides a few small things the hotel you can always recommend it. But with good utilization of the hotel, the service was in the restaurant totally overwhelmed. Far from enough staff. If you later for breakfast old, then you had to either wait or the table itself clearing and again cover up. Which we really great found was, the special magazine of the hartl resort. For the frühschwimmer in the swimming pool between 07:00 a. m. and 11:00 a. m., coffee and tea. A great idea. Unfortunately, there was in the sauna area no drinks. Here you have ... the bottle of water carry forward even. Very good decor was the specialities restaurant 'heurigen'. Here it was always very comfortable and the waiters were very friendly. read more

We felt as a family with two kids (2 years and 3 months) very comfortable! The kids club was great and the friendliness of all of the staff very welcoming! Which I personally unfortunately found, it in the bathroom, no child basin gives. Also small repairs in the thermal baths area from my side from necessary. The cleanliness was in the hotel important. read more

We were already 3 time in the louis and look forward to our next stay. Especially suited for families with children. Service and friendliness of the staff will truly lived here. The whole area was very inviting and clean. The spa facilities excellent. Particular emphasis should be on buffet, wide choice changing themes and the tasteful preparation. read more

A good hotel with lots of possibilities for activities ( sport, golf, hikes, etc. ). The hotel has been freshly renovated and very clean. The rooms are tidy and rather spacious and very comfortable. The spa area has two different areas, which we see as very different of the quality and atmosphere felt. The thermal baths-pools are something special, since partly under the open sky and very big. The log cabin sauna, if they are found, is also large and nicely situated with a private roof terrace to cool off. The other saunas (bio sauna, steam bath and finnish sauna) ... in a rather small, cold room, in the you with normal utilization extremely on the feet force. Otherwise the atmosphere is rather cold. The restaurant features two restaurants. One of which is in the basement and very quaint. Here you can at the buffet the dishes choose, the then from the staff completely fresh be prepared. The staff were very attentive, competent and nice. The food really wonderful. The only thing, that we strange found, was the fact that us no only staff at reception you, where the log cabin sauna is. Only over the lifeguard we found out. Odd, that one a hotel works, in which one is not been versed. But well, they are details. Apart from that it pleased us very well. read more
