The staufner Hof is located close to the center from Oberstaufen. The staff were friendly and the breakfast buffet good.
My room and the bathroom were big enough. The old mini CRT-TV was criticisable without VideoText is however not anymore. Wi-Fi unfortunately subject to a charge. Altogether it was a lovely stay. read more

As schrothkurgast i can only say. Perfect. The hotel is rather 3.5 stars in the total to designate, however the friendliness, cleanliness especially the service is absolutely great. Morning sport for everyone; afternoon hiking, walking and then swimming or in the sauna; or simply on the outdoor loungers relax.
The 'normal' guests raved about from breakfast and dinner. As' schrothkurler ' i can only say, that i at the start skeptical was, but. Even after 4 weeks i had no 'wear phenomena'.
The hotel is very many regular customers for more than 25 years like to visit. I was ... only there once, but i'm coming 2012 definitely again.
Again many thanks for the very good service. Oh yes, the schrothkur was for the health absolutely perfect. read more

outstanding cuisine-so Schroth treatment or active holiday Fun. Intensive gymnastics and sports program without too much! The Hotel. Many free show opened free time Opportunities (lifts, buses, bathrooms, guided tours among other things) all in all a pleasant Spa holiday in a nice area with good price performance ratio. read more

Two weeks was here for sport and Wellness hiking. Would go back in a heartbeat, hotel is from the price-performance ratio was just perfect. I particularly enjoyed the friendliness and warmth in the hotel. For questions you want always had an open ear. The hiking offer of the hotel was every day and always something new interesting in oberstaufen is really something good going on. Looking forward to next year. read more

The hotel is located in a very quiet area and yet close to all the major objectives of the resort. The sports and leisure activities of the hotel and the town almost nothing to be desired. The creations of new, Young Chef, both for guests, as well as tourists a real treat. With the new, strong reductions the visitor are cure or holiday in Staufner yard now very cheap. read more

The breakfast (buffet-style) was very good with everything, which one would like to have that. Me personally cow's milk allergy sufferers, in this day and age, what is not so unusual, but we got manipulated missing. Perhaps it would have been possible to demand something of the sort (but I am not entirely convinced).
The half-board in the evening (around pünktliches appear as around 6:30 P. M. was asked!) but not a four star hotel. Pichelsteiner stew and chopping roasts are no courts, I would expect a hotel of this category. And custard dessert wasn't't exactly a hit. A ... salad buffet would have been desirable. Half board I would never stay there again.
The Jacuzzi was out of order during the whole week. The sauna area was very nice, was also relatively new. There were towels in sufficient quantity and a bathrobe also free. The hotel's sports program was very varied and pleasant.
A large advantage the allgäu card, inter alia, the free use of the cable cars possible.
Overall, I had the feeling, that the time in this hotel were mediocre if not bad. Apart from the staff in their ability to communicate everything looked like ten years ago, including the shower curtains, which I believe is not up-to-date anymore. read more
