Very recommendable, everything was clean, very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner buffet varied and good, in the restaurant good wine list, simple but good wines for cheap prices (10 to 20 euros per bottle). Beautiful small pool, quiet fantastic beach, great environment for hiking. read more

Very well maintained, clean and nice hotel. At christmas time lovingly decoriert. The food tastes delicious. Very good for vegetarians as it in the evening a lot of vegetables and fresh salad there is. The coffee in the morning is the typical, spanish coffee, the it as good as everywhere in spanish hotels. The tastes stop not all, but you get used to it. The waiters do a great job. There is luckily no animation. To the rooms:both have their advantages. The rooms with a sea view are of course because of the great view, but it is very ... hot during the day on the balcony will, since south side. Bergblickzimmer have a shaded balcony, which very pleasant can be. The view was also nice, right in the Valle.,during the day you can hear unfortunately somewhat from the barrancobaustelle, but there is almost completely Valle Gran Rey affected, is however also not so bad read more

The hotel gran rey has 99 rooms, partly with a fantastic view of the sea or also stunning view of the Valle Gran Rey. We booked half board as the additional price it is very low. Otherwise, you can get in the towns in the Valle Gran Rey good food. Mostly at the time of our stay were german guests in the somewhat higher age present. The hotel is, for children, and also the island in the few cases suitable. read more

    The room size is sufficient, the bath could be a bit bigger. The furnishing is well equipped with comfy large bed, closet, fridge, telephone and tv, and - not at all that of course, free wi-fi and air conditioning. The bathroom is though a bit small, but very spacious shelves, bath with a shower curtain, hairdryer (for long hair a bit weak) and soap dispenser. Gran rey is very eco-friendly run. These include the dimmenden energy saving lamps in the room. One saw, that the furnishing already about 14 years ( opening) is old, you can tell but also, this well-kept and therefore in good condition is.

    The breakfast from 7:00 until 10:30 o'clock gave it as rich buffet on the roof terrace or rooftop restaurant. Since it was missing to really nothing. All special requests at egg dishes were promptly fulfilled, sausage and cheese in good selection, different sorts of coffee and tea, different kinds of bread and bread rolls, muesli, freshly squeezed juices... And then this great terrace. The dinner the lower ground floor and is then already rather 3 star level but okay. What we never had observed had: it was constantly the temperature of the dishes with a thermometer checked and recorded. The warm dishes were also always right temperature. Also the plates heated. The choice was very good and at cleanliness and hygiene there were no complaints. The prices are more than reasonable. Carafe wine (0.5 liter ) 6,00 Euro. Also when fully booked - the hotel was fully booked - there was a peaceful atomsphere.

    What the hotel particularly benefits is the inconspicuous, pleasant friendliness and atention of the staff. Example 1:we had this time the request for a bathrobe and - what a three stars house is not - the next morning it was on our room. Example 2:we were with several other already at 5 o'clock in the hotel on the return journey. There was breakfast from 4 o'clock in (nearly) fully with scrambled eggs, bacon and, and, and. Meanwhile, the german skills of the mostly long-standing staff quite good. On the dealing with complaints we can't say anything as we had none.

    Gran rey lies only by a little driven on uferstrasse-way street - away from the sea. Depending on the season time with more or less sand.     The rooms are not really large and so there are less storage space. There is a rental safe. Small refrigerator, tv, telephone and on request a kettle. The dove not on the bill on. The balcony is very small. The bathroom with tub is large and has plenty of storage space. If you booked sea view, is a room on the 2. floor. Otherwise 1st floor or land. The sea you hear however also with closed balcony door clearly.

    From the ferry you about 75 minutes to Valle gran ray by a beautiful landscape. The beach is over the street and is partly rocky and the currents are to note. Nearby there is sufficient stores where one can buy nearly everything. In borbalan a supermarket and pharmacy. Circa 15 minutes walk. Five minutes away from the timan shop where one excursions and hikes can book. In front of the hotel stops next to the statue the bus to San Sebastian. It is advisable, however, to the bus station to be there the bus crowded. 15 minutes.

The hotel is somewhat older though however very well maintained, not too big, very clean! We had the half board which I can also recommend. The hotel was mostly from German vacations visit, some English. Unfortunately there is no garden area but we have the book know. Very nice the view from the pool on the roof terrace. read more

    The breakfast we wonderfully on the roof terrace restaurant. Lovely with a sea view! Dinner gives on the ground floor. The quality and quantity of the dishes and drinks is for 3 star and really reasonable. In the evening always buffet serves and you always find something particularly as gemüseliebhaber! Meat and fish is unfortunately always in different sauces prepared. Is however matter of taste! Coffee unfortunately very bad! And if you only hot water for powder need it is chlorinated-disturbed us very much! Price for beverages surprisingly for us cheap!

    Leisure offers available -however we made itself. Beach and pool clean, loungers does not exist. Best directly in the market a sun screen and mats get. Or heimreisenden vacations how we did it buy! Shower stands at the beach however unfortunately not in use. Internet wi-fi in the hotel at different places works. In the evening you have a lot of pubs where you relaxed and good and cheap can spend the evening!

    The location of the hotel is very good-beach opposite - the infrastrukutur is surprisingly very good. Lots of small supermarkets also a spar, as well as very a lot of pubs in the immediate area. The possibilities for outings are low -however you should rather a inselwanderurlaub plan. As a beach holiday I would the island definitely not recommend, although the beaches are empty and for every publicly accessible. Very relaxing.

Great hotel - gladly definitely again! Due to the forest fires were many organizers cancelled in the last minute. The fires are however too many in the higher elevations of Arure after Chipude - altogether are 15% of the national parks garajonay burned down. But the nature shows surprising self-healing-in many places, it is obvious, thanks to the strong cloud formation-really green. Itself burned Palm trees develop again green leaves. Are now already the third time on the island and thrilled time after time. read more

The quiet hotel is distinguished by an almost without exception friendly staff, the guests are nice and high-class. Close proximity to never crowded beach ( simply over the sparsely traveled street go) is a huge plus. read more

Very pleasant vacation in the hotel Valle Gran Rey. It is the only little more hotel at the place. Directly at the beach and rooms are available. In the summer are but also the rooms without view of the sea recommendable, as there is shade in the afternoon and one therefore on the balcony can sit. Here you have a wonderful view in the mountains. The food was delicious and the staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is, for children, limited recommendable, as there is no garden %BLANK% and the pool because of the water Scarcity on the island ... strong chlorinated is. We are going back! read more

The hotel is good gefūhrt and the locals staff so bemūht the guests the stay good. Who on special service a star worthy, should elsewhere vacations. The seaside location and the sound of around the hour are unique schõn. Frūhstūck on the roof terrace in the sunshine view of the sea and mountain panorama is open daily a new Vergnūgen. We were a second time here and are definitely coming again. read more

I was with my treasure, and it was a great nice and relaxing vacation. The room was clean and well-kept and with a wonderful sea view. The constant sound has calmed down and spurred. Nice place to sleep. Missing us at home. No overfilled beaches. Nice bars and restaurant in Vuelvas and La Punta. The pool on the roof terrace is a highlight. read more
