A very clean and beautiful hotel in a central location in London. The subway is only 5 minutes away by foot, and the hotel lies in a quiet side street. The staff were very hard-working and helpful. The breakfast buffet is manageable, but for the price, more than reasonable and everything was stats replenished. For a city break is this hotel very recommendable. read more

Small and very clean hotel. Like in England usual the rooms are very small, but sufficient. Staff was always very friendly and outgoing. Even for our not yet english-speaking children there not a problem your concern is understandable to make it clear, it was very nice referred to them. Around the hotel there is very lots of bars us restaurants, and small shops. The tube is a stone's throw away. read more

The hotel is in every corner renovated, our family room lay down in the hotel: the consequences were to be heard. Until about 11:00 P. M. getrampelt and the klackern from trolleys on our heads and the quite loud. Constantly the slamming of doors and the banging of doors. Stomping in the hallway. From 7:30 A. M. morning handwerkerlärm in addition. The full program drill, vacuum etc. And the crowning of the whole was the delivery of laundry each night the staircase directly in front of our windows, the ancient and drafty was. There were all the massive ... sacks simply with us down the stairs littered. It was just bad. For 3 nights, it was just marginal, since sleeping is also important for a nice holiday. At the front desk through such a complaint only stylish drüberweggeschaut. For me was the horror. read more

Perfect for a city break-in a central but quiet location

The hotel is perfect for city trips. We are even in the afternoon (15 minutes) on foot in the Portobello road Notting Hill gone. You can be reached in about five minutes to two tube stations different lines (Bayswater and Queensway and water) within easy walking distance. From Heathrow is you with the tube (not the expensive! Express) in about 40 minutes with only one change since, has only two, 90 pound just cost (here is the oyster card to be recommended, cheaper and more comfortable is it not). When, as in our case at the weekends in our district ... and circle line was the fixed and the water was closed Bayswater, we were glad, the central line to have right nearby. If the small extra charge for a so-called garden view rooms don't mind, got a very clean relatively newly renovated room, with freshly renovated bathroom (typically on the small side but everything). Our room was on the fourth floor with elevator. In the night it was so quiet, that the window to the park similar Hof could open, although in the next side street right what was going on, until late in the evening. The breakfast for six pounds per person we have not taken, but the Starbucks or Pret a manager right next door at the Queensway street breakfast. There is also a very nice pub with delicious fish and chips and steak dinner in a typical pub atmosphere at the end of the day. Interesting was also, that in the room a plug for euro plug was blocked. You could load the mobile phone or camera battery without the United Kingdom adapter. Safe, refrigerator and hair dryer were available, as well as there were enough clothes hangers (at least for three days). The front desk is staffed 24 o'clock. The young people were all very friendly (as you treat others as that is how it comes back!). The day before our departure I wanted to print on the Internet access in the lobby (15 minutes for 50 pence)-Lufthansa/boarding cards for those flight. Unfortunately, you cannot save on the computers there and nothing also nothing, there is still a need for action. The very nice young man at the front desk I just borrowed private apple-book, to print the tickets on the hotel printer; certainly not trivial. read more

We were already 2008 once in this hotel. Then there was being renovated. The property is now completely renovated. The rooms are very small, that was the only negative, what I can say about this hotel. The rooms were very clean, the bathroom is great. The towels were changed every day and it was clean. There is also a great new breakfast room with a really absolutely acceptable breakfast, with fruit juices, coffees you, sausage, cheese, yogurt, cereals, eggs. Thus absolutely great for a good start into the day in London. I can absolutely recommend this hotel, the location can't ... be beat top, the prices are for London absolutely okay and the hotel has revamped its image properly really. read more

Really beautiful hotel in a quiet Corner of London. We had a room with a garden view and it was gorgeous. Kettle with instant coffee and tea for every day. Bathroom clean, just like the rest of the pretty equipped room. The room itself was quite small, but more than adequate!
Is directly parallel to the Queensway, where there are numerous shops, restaurants and a shopping center velvet cinema gives. Stop Baywater foot super reachable.
Again at any time! read more

After reading several bad reviews, I was almost inclined to rebook on another hotel. Luckily I am gut instinct followed! According to a lady at the front desk are now all the rooms have been renovated. We were given three in a quadruple room, the was not huge, but totally sufficient. Space to put bags was enough. Closet with safe. Hair dryer as well as water heater and Kaffeeutensilien available. Bathroom with shower and including soap, shampoo, shower gel. Cleanliness was totally okay. read more

Very small room and poor condition. The room was dirty, dusty, not vacumed, the shower moldy. The decor was very spartarnisch and partly broken. The breakfast was very basic. Only milk rolls, butter, jam, corn flakes and coffee. The hotel staff listless, unattentive and rude. If you want to avoid trouble, shop around for another hotel. read more

The automated door opens and you find the reception on your left. Unfortunately there are two chairs behind the reception so you are barely noticed by the front desk staff. The area behind the desk looks like a mess which does not leave a very good first impression.
All rooms are accessible by lift, the hallways are pretty narrow. The door in the room does not have any chain locks. They are not soundproof, so looking for a good night's rest please ask for a room at the very end of the hallway.
Rooms had newly been refurbished, they are ... small but OK for a city trip. The rooms all seem to be en suite, the sink underneath the mirror is super small though. The smell in the bathroom unfortunately is not neutral. Slight traces of mould on the windows that do not stay open.
The so called kingsize bed is only 1.2 metres wide. In my eyes way too small for two persons but apparently standard in London.
The breakfast room is located in the lower floor. Coffee comes from the machine, all you find on the buffet is toast, salted butter, cheddar cheese, jam and marmelade and some cereals. One should better cancel the breakfast and find some good food in the area.
Guests from all over the world seem to be staying there, even the staff is multinational - no single English person working there. read more

We booked this hotel for 4 nights with breakfast. At first we were skeptical because the 2 stars, but convinced us downtown location, the friendly service and value for money. The hotel is newly renovated and it even find some work going on, but after breakfast ends at 1000pm and at 5pm finished. We did not make a noise or restrictions may apply. We are only once a builders in the hallway encounter one quick which paved the way. The hotel is very clean and well maintained, decorated in a contemporary style and architecturally attractive. The guest structure was ... international, pleasant and on the average at 35 years old. Of course one is the time and very little in hotel. And other hotels are a little cheaper - but you don't feel like to have lost money read more

Was very skeptical because the two stars, but for a stay of more than a week the hotel is certainly recommendable. I booked again at the end of May. The location is very good, as the hotel a few minutes from Bayswater tube station. Restaurants, bars and shops are also nearby. Our room was not very exciting, but clean and newly furnished. TV and hair dryer available. The bathroom was new, clean and neat, unfortunately very small, but it was more than enough for a few days. The breakfast is nothing to write home about, but we didn't go hungry. ... you know what "continental breakfast" means. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and were happy to help. read more

In Bayswater there are a lot of 3 star hotels. While we had rather bad last year we were convinced us. The hotel was renovated in 2008, the construction during our presence (New Year's Eve 2008) be completed. During the day for vacationers, who won't be in the hotel are the hotel is absolutely recommendable. The location is really great. The district is supermarkets, a shopping center, different types of restaurants and boring sameness (Burger King, Pizza Hut, McDonalds etc. ) and more souvenir stores and the world needs. The connection is superb, 2 important underground lines (Circle+Central) can be ... reached within a few minutes. The Hyde Park is 5 minutes away. The staff is nice and helpful, only the cleaning lady their mission previously. For breakfast, there were toast, croissants, different jams, cold cuts, cheeses, cereals and a variety of cereal. The quality was absolutely all right. In all, it was a good here the price-performance was and the location makes up for the small advised not mind going back. read more

London House Hotel is in a great location. The area is very nice and direct connections to the subway lines Bayswater and Queensway. Good shopping and locations possibilities are not even 5 minutes from the hotel. It is located in a very quiet, nice location. Large drawback was however our room. It was on the ground floor. All furniture is damaged. The noise of the Frühstücksaals wakes you around 7 -8am on and also the in and out the cleaning ladies in next to room wasnt grade creek. If you looked out the window showed quite only trash. The bathroom ... was also super narrow! read more
