We stayed for two nights during our round trip by Sri Lanka in this hotel. Although it unfortunately very off the beaten track is located, it was very good. Since we already in the afternoon in the hotel arrived, we made a walk. We went out the hotel and to the right. There we had after a few hundred meters a great view of the Sigiriya rock.
The bungalows have a pleasant size and a large bathroom with a shower. The fittings are functional and sufficient for a short stay. The air conditioning was very silent.
The dinner was great! ... There was on both evenings different European and local dishes in buffet form to choose from. In the latter was partly. With deblurring not saved, what us especially good tasted. Also the breakfast was absolutely sufficient and delicious. You could also eggs and omelets prepared. At the coffee something must be exercised, what the whole however no harm.
A pool is available. We did however not used.
On the first evening played a 4 -headed band international 'oldies' to eat and afterwards. Even if the music definitely not our taste was, this was a beautiful variety. On 2. Abend entered a magician on. This brought in his show known Tricks funny and really good over, so that all viewers fun had.
A beer a 625 millilitre cost 350 Rupees. The were during our travels circa 2,20 Euro.
We recommend the taking along of travel adapter and additionally a Verteilersteckdose. So you can batteries for cell phone and camera at the same time invite.
The three prong Electrical outlets you could use without an adapter, by including in the upper hole a small suitable Aststück puts, which the two lower releases. Then the completely normal An Adapter. read more

Somewhat remotely located hotel with a view of the Sigiriya rock. Ideal after long excursion days with super well kept pool. Rooms are individual bungalows, pleasant size with beautiful bathroom. Good and versatile food! read more

The lion's rock is a typical roundtrip hotel with almost daily changing guests. We spent 2 pleasant days in a bungalow. The hotel consists of lots of small Individual houses in a large bit lifelessly effective garden in the middle of the wilderness with a view of the Sigiriya rock. read more

Great complex in the immediate area for Löwenfelsen. Very friendly staff. Great massages. Great dinner and breakfast. The bungalow was a bit of a musty smell due to the high humidity, which we but with incense to handle have :-O
A few small shops around the corner. The people are for our money directed, since nobody else here runs, but the address is sometimes a bit annoying. We had nice conversation with the store owner. One has even its private apartment next to the store shows. read more

Our first hotel during our 1 week Sri Lanka tour, for 2 days we were here spent adequate. Staff are very friendly, from the check-in at until the departure. The hotel is very remote, without small trains or as we hired car with driver, it is difficult to be a bit out of the hotel undertake. I liked the location nevertheless hotel, as it felt more like a lodge, with open front desk, open dining room, all around only nature and all possible animal noise.
room was adequate, you must stop for this price no luxury look, you have to ... be realistic! The bungalow was large and clean, with TV, large double bed, large Bath, and small terrace with 2 chairs. Staff in the restaurant very nice, buffet not the massive selection, but OK, it was okay in terms of taste Sunday in short: for 2 days for this price as we paid in order! read more

Located at the edge of the village, in the middle of nowhere, you can see a open Corrugated Steel Lobby. The bungalows are very Spartan 'elegant' concrete optics. As a 'safe' is a metal cabinet in the lobby alone staff the key, our valuables and passports in one old Alditüte kept. It came however nothing away. We have stayed in bright arrived, this was our mistake. Large tour groups arrived in the dark which is a large Advantage. The food was pretty tasty, you will evening in the restaurant insects and fallen gorged on the scratch, shake and flounder. Never ... again! read more
