The carnival season a catastrophe! Already in the vorkarnevalszeit (so in january ) every day (several!) Parties in the hotel - both in the restaurant, as well as in the bar. Near great location but significant flaws for a 5 star hotel! The entrance area is quite worn (cracks in the cushions ), the mattresses were totally worn out, the bathroom mini with only a bathtub. The entrance is dudurch the showers impossible high. No hooks for towels at the sink. Slippers or bathrobe only on request. As mentioned: with 3 or 4 stars not a problem, but for the use of a 5 star hotel. read more

We have as a family now already for the 2. time vacation in this hotel made. Our small children are great care and the staff are very hard-working, for us suitable (slightly larger) room to find. Really great. And is to be pointed out, all children under 12 years are free.
Great breakfast with massive selection of fresh things.
Only drawback was the lack of parking around the hotel and the relatively expensive parking garage with 23 Euro per night. read more

Mornings at 7:00 o'clock one believes from the bed to fall. Opposite the hotel there is a construction site. And the windows are not very sound proof. With a 5 star hotel you should also a bath tub expect. Otherwise there was actually nothing to fault.

I am the 2. time the pullman cologne hotel. The first time i was 2010 here.
2010 i was very excited by this beautiful hotel, i had a great room what very big and luxurious.
I thought i would be happy for i this luxury again.
Christmas 2012, i was to visit with my family in Köln.
Now i was stayed in many four and 5 stars hotels.
My renewed first impression from the hotel was from the outside not so great. The lower part is nice from the outside, but the bed tower has it's best years behind it. ...
But everything in a the facade completely fine.
The front desk was friendly and gave me good welcome. I had a room on the 11. floor get, this room i due to its interior and location not good.
I went to the front desk back and asked for my new room, i showed the lady at the reception a picture from the web site of the hotel when HolidayCheck, please such a room to get. It looked after and after a few minutes i got a new room on the 4. floor.
The room change was not a problem. My new room i liked much better a beautiful bathroom, a nice king size bed.
If there is someone interested i can the room 408 really warmly recommend.

The most beautiful thing i find in the pullman cologne hotel, the bathroom where you the shower into the bedroom.
Such a thing has no other hotel, which i know.
I looked me the hotel on all its floors in, i discovered a cleaning lady and asked me some rooms to demonstrate, which they cleaned up.
Room 1105 i can really warmly recommend.
Otherwise i found the hotel good overall, if i were to grade should i would in a smooth two soutenant.
Criticisms of me are:
The rooms after the housekeeping, although clean and tidy were, but nevertheless some faults exhibit
Like for instance the shower was not cleaned, two empty bottles from the minibar were always still on the bedside table were.
I also believe, that du every 2. day the room vacuum.
I am not sure, whether the air conditioning in this hotel worked perfectly, the room was very warm.
You the air conditioning nevertheless on 18° down, except normal air no cold out, should read the room stayed with the same temperature were. The only thing which can is in the winter tidy air and the whole time the window on was to leave.
I believe in this hotel it is important to in which room you have been accommodated is. If you're lucky you get a modern beautiful room. If not, you have to make some drawbacks. I recommend every his mouth open and a new room to ask if it is not satisfied. Perhaps that then more luck and get the same beautiful room i now.
The only thing which me at my room a little disturbed, is the office chairs no roles and that the brown carpet really ugly is.
The wellness area i think reasonable, if one considers which other hotels as spa call even if the sports area is small, it is very clean and there were free drinks tea in 10 different varieties. A gerolsteiner water dispenser.
There are all large and small towels you could showers and so on.
The sauna is very clean one could relax beautifully it is large and modern, however you could the sauna quiet on 100° heat instead of between 80 and 90 firmly shuttled to be.
The hotel itself is somewhat outdated now if you are the buttons of the elevators looks at and also partly the carpets. The lobby is at the start very modern and relaxing yet the furniture and the nature of the equipment not the most modern.
Nevertheless is overall clean, neat and nice for relaxation a.
When last i would like to refer to the breakfast buffet comment.
The breakfast restaurant is very relaxing, clean and modern designed.
Since the brunch in my berlin lieblingsrestauran very pampered am, there are some drawbacks at the breakfast buffet.
You have a wide selection of bread and rolls, which i found was very good, the selection of a drink is wonderful and recommendable, there is sparkling wine, various juices, biosaft, organic teas, a massive selection on the loose and bag tea. A modern coffee machine with the no wishes left leaves.
The only thing that bothered me, was the sausage or the sausage selection, it seemed in such a way, as if all this packaged sausage product was and i think in a 4 star hotel should be but delicious sausages have not already be, as if it already three days state would.
The cheese selection was very good, again a wide selection. Great warm palette with
Baked beans, small mini meatballs, fried egg, scrambled egg, baked tomatoes, fried potatoes, sausage fried bacon and grilled mushrooms
Also the large freshly baked and prepared waffles were delicious.
I found the decoration at christmas very nice and relaxing.
Very friendly and attentive i found it, the everyone breakfast buffet a large, rich chocolate santa got.
So now i'm ready, i think. I think the service nowadays in Germany still a bit of a strange seem is. I agree with my stay here in the hotel satisfied, but i know better hotels and i need to consider, whether i the next time in this hotel again check in. But i would say that this hotel really recommendable is. If your stay is a bit not so should be as you want, then you go the front desk and make your mouth and perhaps they have luck and get a beautiful room, and their residence permit enjoy.
As i have already mentioned i give the hotel a smooth two.
I would recommend in the next years the interior a little to improve, in other words the carpets in the rooms zuerneuen, the cleaning ladies to say you should all mirror and a glass walls really clean and also not the empty bottles forget to carry forward.
It should every day be vacuumed and reviewed, whether the bed linen clean is, if need be, you can change.
The air conditioning should be revised, if i on the display 18 °, should also 18° cold air from of the airconditioning also flow.
At the breakfast buffet care should be taken, for a 4 star hotel better sausages there are, you should also be ensured, the sausage not so withered and a hot chocolate should always milk instead of with water be made.
And last, but not least, i in spite of the massive selection of jams and jams my Nutella miss anything.

The pullman cologne is for me one of the best hotels in Cologne and also furthermore. Respect, what from this hotel after the renovation has become. I had a deluxe room. The room was very spacious and equipped with everything, what your heart desires. Particularly the walk-in rainforest shower I found great. The breakfast buffet very good and varied. Also the staff, to manager of the hotel, Rolf S., always very friendly and attentive! The pullman cologne without restriction absolutely recommend! read more

Sports and wellness area can already something else to wish for. The room is still good but very small. The double bed consists of two single beds which easily apart drift. The internet is in the room only for an extra charge to have. Very pleasant was the lobby, here you lots of possibilities to stay a while and the very buzzy business to watch. Also were the beds even with two large pillows and very comfortable with good for deep and feast sleep. Check- outzeit on saturday was terrific at 14 o'clock and the breakfast went even until 12 ... o'clock. The best was the absolutely extensive and in all details delicious and plentiful breakfast buffet. The staff were also in all areas very competent, friendly and polite. read more

Were for a city trip in Cologne and lived thanks special price on the public holiday cheaper, than in a budget -hotel and even including breakfast.
Size of the room for city hotel reasonable. Comfy beds and small but practical bathroom with a large shower area.
Small, but beautiful fitness room and very spacious and beautiful sauna facility with a sauna and steam room.
On the 12th floor bar with a view of the cathedral - you should see.
Amazing breakfast buffet, which leaves nothing to be desired.
The hotel is centrally located to the center and the many shops ... located.
Last but not least a special thanks to all of the staff - we have not a single experienced unfriendly employees and everybody was absolute professionals. read more

The are never ever 5 stars, the room, alone by the size also at best three stars.
The hotel offers a couple great things. These are but only acceptable, as on-top to the, what you want from a good 4 stars hotel expect.
As a replacement for things, in a 4 *, partly in a three stars hotel are normal, however not acceptable.
Five star means: luxury (4 stars is already first class). There and you should by luxury and especially accommodating staff be comfortable.
This is one of the hotels, we have at least felt good and we know ... 2 star-5 stars hotels. Even in the 2 * Ibis-hotels was the feel good factor on the basis of very friendly and always helpful staff higher.
A man would no golgenen faucets and spoon, but first sometimes to eating and drinking in order to survive. Good would be somewhat, which tasted and healthy, yes this would be a rise. Then in a beautiful room, even better. Perhaps very friendly staff service: would be another increase.
And the water then golgenen water tap and the food with golden cutlery.
Very nice.

The hotel has 315 room on 12 floors. The rooms and bathroom are small but very clean. We had 2 room with breakfast and were in the 10 floor with a wonderful view of Cologne and cathedral accommodated. read more

We were from 07-09-2012 until 09-09-2012 pullman cologne. The hotel is beautiful and our room was very spacious and renovated. Our room was very outside, so it was spacious as the other, desk, dressing area, tv and mini bar and a very inviting shower bath. From the room we had a direct view of the cologne cathedral.
The breakfast is very plentiful and for everyone participates something.
The location is very pleasant, almost directly at the ehrenstr. With all shops and direct access to the center.
Very friendly staff.
The only problem is the expensive parking garage, but only approximately ... 500 meters further is a cheap parking garage (12, -/ day).
Sauna and fitness center available, a pool would be a dream been. read more

We have one night pullman and loved it. Classic 5 star business hotel, no individuality however so what do you expect of course not, if you in such a hotel goes. The rooms were perfect, modern and comfortably only a bit small. The location is also super one should on eighth on the cathedral side a room to get! read more

We were with the ten friends in the hotel Pullman and all loved it. The rooms very modern decor, flat screen TV-king-size bed-coffee machine -kettle-safe-rain shower and many nice details.
The breakfast was amazing. Everything your heart desires. Scrambled egg with bacon, small sausages, salmon, ham, muesli... Everything from sweet to savory was there. Fresh fruit and juices.
Very nice was the George M. bar in 12. Stock. Evenings great view of the cathedral.
