The hotel with its about 100 rooms is beautiful to nature with imbedded., you feel on arrival immediately.
The rooms are after all renovated, which you but at some corners with a little construction noise reckon, which however not really disturbing was.
You also had always the opportunity the rooms to change.
The employees were very friendly and always tried hard, everything clean and beautiful to hold.
We booked full board, what we all also absolutely recommend can (with enclosed with full board are the soft drinks, table wines, as well as every day 1 bottle of water, 1 liter ..., in the room)
The hotel while we were there only about 30% occupied (so about 40 guests, of which the half italians and the other half german, swiss, etc.), ws for us of course a dream was, as we the whole complex almost just for us had ☺ read more

The Temple point is just perfect for the vacation wish to rest and relaxation but also for good entertainment for the vacationers, what of the day variety search. Especially nice the evening shows, which with a lot of love for the detail and the culture of the country vacations closer. You feel good straight away arrived by the open art of all busy in the hotel. It was for me, my 7. trip to Kenya, the first in Temple point and i promise, we will be back! read more

Located on one of the most beautiful stretches of kenya is the resort in a nature reserve. Situated on a headland located on the open sea and the watamu creek rises the hotel complex spacious very well maintained by a real host extremely friendliest gardeners. For the security if this at all a problem should be, with a lot of commitment is a security guard was the women includes. Unnoticed and quiet they do the same at night as well reliable their service always with a smile with a meeting or a warmest jambo. The well-appointed rooms ( angebotszimmer last ... minute) are daily affectionately cleaned and with a decorated bed and also fresh bouquet of us had been found. The food is for the value for money very good. The beverages prices are in the budget for the Otto middlebrow to neglect. Since it table wine to the meals to protects these, in addition, the budget. The Cappuccino at the bar a force.
The guest structure was international very pleasant also regarding the age multicolored mixed. read more

The hotel for our family the best what could have happened. The room was modern, bright and cozily furnished. Our view was every morning on the mida creek, where we the nature already in the morning could observe. Huge windows, very nice.
Our roomboy has every day the bed with flowers. The food was so great, that it also our son tasted, the fruit pirate, has sent him a lot of fruits carved, so there was always an extra portion vitamins. The guests as a large family, nobody is alone, and yet every the peace and quiet that he needs. read more

At a very nice section in a nature park. The hotel is very well-kept, the houses in the lamu style very nice, although a bit older, is all very clean and tidy and large enough anyway. Security abundant. All are very pleasant and you will be always friendly with a 'jambo' welcomes. To the meals there are soft drinks and wine in addition. Drink prices are for our standards were cheap. If you booked half board you can also the meals change so lunch instead of dinner. Afternoon gives it to coffee and snacks for free. Opposite the front desk ... sit Mali there you can book excursions. You can also at the guarded beach book which also problem-free and a bit cheaper. Next to Mali the gästebetreuerin Leila which always for questions and problems, as is. (spoke very good german). Guests mainly italians and germans, the percentage varies. The complex has a large pool and a guarded beach at the sea. (beach chairs and towels were free of charge-towels at the front desk exchange) careful at low tide in the best use bathing shoes because you have to go far out and the current. Snorkeling on the beach is nothing you have to with the botel was a snorkeling excursion book. It is also possible, a paddle tour in the mangroves to make or other boat trips. At the bar you can very comfortable the evening drink, guests amongst others the many cushions a. The food is of course not as in a 5 star hotel, because for this number may not wide choice are offered. The food is however well, there are at least two main dishes you can but also anytime is pasta, pasta, spaghetti prepared. Desserts there was also very nice and delicious the fresh fruit which you freshly prepared. Breakfast is as in almost every good hotel of course, you could also be omelet the choice made to order. Delicious all the fresh juice in the morning. In the afternoon you can also the 2. small pool pizza eat out which is very good. Wifi is in the hotel available i even had good receipt in the bungalow (nr 15). The german hotel manager Thomas and its partner Jana are mostly the meals in the restaurant and are available for questions available and help gladly. In the town of watamu (circa 5 kilometer) you can take the hotel bike or one orders itself a tuk tuk (circa 3 Euro a drive). There you can see how the people live, a bar/disco and in the snake farm go (is been interesting). The entertainment in the hotel is luckily not intrusive, if you don't want to take part is also not hassled. In the evening there is often a show. (circus arts, circus, folklore and so on.) I personally was in Kenya for the first time and so i have no comparison with other hotels in Kenya. But i have with many guests spoken which in other hotels in Kenya were already and only here again. I do not have already very lots of hotels on all continents learned and find Temple point no need to hide. Would stay again. Matthias read more

Very nice hotel, the extensive and really great location has. Those who seek peace and quiet - something original (so no concrete block ) - is in the right place here. But only, if you definitely not bars, cafe and so on also outside the hotel need. Watamu is with the taxi about 5 minutes away - offers but loud recommendation of the hotel staff only two options (also visited itself). You can partying, however it is for young kenyan rather the contact-brokering service. Older europeans/inside are here from everywhere. We found a little scary.
In the hotel also boottrips ... and so on offered, but really expensive. Recommendable are the massages - the premises are although it is very, very simple - but can found than adequate be. The massages are reasonably priced between 20 and 30 Euro. But are still negotiable.
Safaris:
Will of each offered important, is definitely assure leave, that the transfer from the hotel to the national park (tsavo) not over mombasar is. Direct connection about 1.5 hours travel time by. Over mombasar minutes 3,5-6 hours!
A information, which we prior to so did not. Depending on the traffic situation in mombasar, can the shuttle from the airport to Hotel Minuten 2 hours - 3,5 hours take. We are in the early at about 7 hours and have 3 hours to everything needed, on the return flight (start at 3:30 o'clock) - so almost no traffic - 2 hours! We would now in our buchungsüberlegungen with integrated.
In short: who peace want, nice people - is in the right place here. Apart from that rather Diani Beach and so on. read more

The hotel has a paradisiac and really quiet location, in the middle of a well-kept parks. The sea is clean, without jelly fish etc. You feels from the first moment onwards in very good hands. The staff are always friendly and competent and the boss, Thomas, care itself in order to the welfare of the guests. The breakfast and the dinner (with the half-board) left nothing to be desired, particularly the fruit bar is simply great. The prices at the drinks bar are perfectly acceptable. The houses and their decor in the swahili-style ensure a pleasant atmosphere. For excursions local ... (for example free canoe tour through the mangroves) and regional for example. En gedi and tsavo west is well catered for. The guest mixture is true. I there get a good rest and nevertheless country and people good met.

The two weeks in the hotel for us were an absolute batterie. With enjoyable food, pleasant people, since the guest mixture in the hotel was great. We are by bike risks, have walks at the beach done, and our chairs on the beach have been lovingly the service team prepared when we at the beach arrived. There was no due 'very pleasant'. Thomas always had an ear to lend for all of the guest and all questions always with an energy answered, great. He is active in the protection of the environment and lots of animals. Finally a hotel what ... mitdenkt. Some employees try to learn german. Word for word. So, dear subsequent guests don't be surprised if you have something to be asked.
The african night is always on friday made, which the staff as with attention to the legs Great. You can tell the boss is with a lot of attention to detail for everyone, and there is in his staff further. About the food i guess i don't have to say. Mmhh delicious.
We will come again. The is sure. Such a team, such a hotel. What else could you want.

As a part of individually planned keniarundreise we have one week in Temple point energy for the subsequent safari refueled. The complex is a little bit out of town of watamu beautifully on a green-clad headland location. Everything is clean, well kept and pleasantly spacious. To the facilities belong two dreamlike beaches (bays with white sand), at low tide, you could go far into the flat sloping (crystal-clear ) water go out. Besides is the complex on fjordähnlichen creek, from where you kayak and boat tours undertake can. The entire area is paradise. Our room was huge with veranda, large ... shower bath and in a free-standing 2-storey house. The breakfast buffet left really nothing to be desired (i even got a chili and fresh vegetables prepared omelet), the within the complex tucked away located pizzeria us as italy fans as convinced as the main restaurant. Huge saltwater pool, everything was very well-kept. The hotel manager Thomas tried personally about the well-being of its guests, so we started from the first second on right to recover. The daily offered leisure activities we didn't use, other travellers reported however inspired on the organisation and vielfältigkeiten the excursions etc. To our reiseteit very pleasant, international audience (no russians!). Back at the cold Germany we are already now the next vacation, this time with children. Thomas told us, that a development of the untouched adjoining coastline probably was impossible. We hope, that always remains in such a way, so that this tucked away, paradise is not destroyed. read more

I think that it, as Oscar wild: who tells the truth, sooner or later there caught. But you have to have the heaven on earth on this special place in the world to visit.
The hotel is situated in a paradise garden right next to the sea in a absolute wonderful, quiet bay with crystal clear water and the magic of rest and relaxation nothing stands in the way. Exquisite, very varied food and good wines. Because of the great selection of soups, salads, fruit is a full board really recommendable and the liquidation value. Great tip at the check-in. ... Pure enjoyment from the start, the chef ' hitvertächtig' and not even increased, -unbelievable, but true. The rooms are always lovingly Gabriel cleaned and surprise there was daily a creative flowers arrangement on bed, everything was very clean, the bathroom large and enchanting flair of welcome makes the days of vacation a real oasis for body, spirit and soul. The good soul in the hotel with guarantee Leila! Thomas, the manager - as he could from our heart read, whether kind meeting, dream wedding at the beach or private geburtstagsfest, everything we could experience. It carried the hallmarks of excellence, sense and cheerful people who deserve and waiting, of many guests those who are looking for the special, -to be discovered. read more

The hotel lies slightly off the beaten track of watamu and is directly at the mangroves built. The bungalows have a nice size and fit very nicely in the garden a. Facilities is already somewhat older and is being renovated. The chef is for two years German and it tries more German guests in the complex to get. The guests are mostly Italian. We once had to the room change, as water through the ceiling. Was very quickly and without grumbling done and we had only a few minutes a new room received. There were only very few guests on ... the complex, which we appreciated a lot. In spite of the low attendance was not about the food save and it always something gave tasty. The staff's hospitality is incredible and we were always treated very obligingly. New year's eve was our favorite waiter, as he always with an honest smile to the table and from every guest the name knew.
Excursions are a must and should better with the beach boys to be booked, as that are less expensive and the same as the hotel. Safari was perfect and is can only be recommended. mida creek tour in the mangroves was also very nice, only the snorkeling isn't recommendable, since everything with seaweeds overgrown and also otherwise in the comparison little can be seen. Diving was beautiful despite a lot of plancton in the water, but is rather rare at this time of the year. read more

We had a short break planned around the batteries recharge our batteries and this objective has been wholeheartedly reached. The infrastructure is beautiful and you feel good straight away at home. Staff are very friendly and the management very professional. Also with exceptional situations as wide open peaceful safe was very competent handled \u263a thanks again to all! The two spacious pools made up for the lack of direct access to a private sandy beach. Not a problem also, because you access to a long white beach right nearby has! Excursions were very personable or wishes competently gives you. Of ... freshly prepared scrambled eggs in the morning to special requests in the evening left the buffet nothing to be desired. Particularly to mention are the excellent pizzas and pasta the comparison with the local italian probably would win.
All in all it was a succesful vacation and we can definitely recommend this hotel.

In november/december i accompanied my friends two weeks in the Temple point resort. It was a lovely and relaxing time, the in this extremely sympathetic hotel with its beautiful location on the watamu beach or mida creek had. Especially worth mentioning it seems to me the wonderful weißsandige beach, the pleasing architecture the hotel, the very attractive furnishing of the rooms in swahili style, the magnificent gardens, the good and very varied food especially the overly large friendliness and courtesy, with the management and staff the wishes and needs of guests enter.
