Mold and bad food - never again!

Our room was more than in need of refurbishment. The wallpaper came from the wall and were partly torn down. In the bathroom there was the heater on full power but unfortunately was missing the knob at this down to regulate, so that our whole room permanently was very warm. The extractor fan in the bathroom worked almost not at all, in the shower was mold. The toilet had eternally to press and hold until they work properly. The hair dryer was a bad joke. The hotelhaartrockner often not the best are i was aware but with this hair dryer ... dry the hair at the air almost faster. In the brochure is, that pillows at the front desk to find, that was not the case. On my complaint, that we mold in the shower and in the bathroom exactly can be seen where the wiper increased (the hairs of the people before us were still on the floor) happened not much. They told me with the hotel would be fully booked, but you would us the room service again chic. A bit poor. Of al we evening back came were the hair away, but we had footprints not us in the bathroom. The rich breakfast consists of normal bread rolls, cheese and sausage from the packet (ever 1-2 sorts) somewhat sweet spreads, horrible coffee, cereal, toast, 2 sorts of juice or rather nectar, tea and egg. The cooked eggs were so hard, that hardly edible and between egg yolks and eiweis had a grey layer formed.
All in all an ideal location but just awful. read more

The staff are very friendly! Check in, as well as check out was smooth fast.
The double room was large enough for 2 people, equipped with a tv and a spacious closet. The bed is very comfortable and clean. Unfortunately it was on the street side very noisy.
The wallpaper was old, dirty and cracked. The furnishing was nothing special, however reasonable. The heater worked excellent.
The bathroom was not large, but clean and the laundry was daily changed. The hair dryer left nothing to the imagination. The shower head was in need of repair - staff on the 1. ... day the shortcomings informed, was however to the last day unfortunately not repaired.
The breakfast buffet was tasty and sufficient. Something there for every taste.
Possibilities to park are given, however cannot be reserved and expensive. A parking garage and pärkplätze are as an alternative nearby. The distance to the signs shopping -street is excellent, zum dom /main station/chocolate museum is not far, on foot you should however some minutes walk away.
My conclusion: for a short trip to Köln, 2 nights with good breakfast the hotel was reasonable. The location is really a plus point! For a longer stay as 3 days i recommend another hotel. read more

Mold! Black mold, strong attack on the windows. Bathroom disgusting. Otherwise rustic condition, and loveless attempt a breakfast. The condition seems the employees to be aware of. Fair periods lead in the election of the hotel to the edge of despair, the leonet went a step further. More barrack because hotel. read more

I and my girlfriend decided, the turn of the year 2012/2013 in Köln to spend.
Unfortunately we were already when entering the room very dissapointed. The design of the room has the best years already behind. But at least a flat-screen tv, as well as free wi-fi is available.
When we the bathroom saw we ran a cold shower on the back. On the wall, on the ceiling and on the bottom edge of the shower stall was significant mold and deposits to see. Of cleanliness in the bathroom no trace. The shower was also defective.
In the living and ... sleeping area was the wiring of the light above the mirror visible. Stains on the wall only unprofessional scheme about pinselt.
When we the flaws at the front desk questioned we were simply said, the cleaning crew to see but not further and one would take care of it. Further you are on the problem not received and we were ignored.
The breakfast is sufficient and includes everything, which one needs. When we first breakfast was first the problem, not enough space for all of the guest was available. One must thus on waiting periods adjust. We even saw unfortunately only a place in a bar can get and had our breakfast on a bar stool to take us. Unfortunately were the service staff with this situation overstrained. It arrived, that both coffee, juice, scrambled eggs and also the glasses were empty. You had to this as a guest mention, since there was nothing like this quickly restocked.
When we at the front desk to restaurants nearby asked, where you a delicious dinner can be taken, we could unfortunately not be helped.
All in all, we are about this hotel very dissapointed. It has in our opinion the three stars not deserved and we can it also not recommend. read more

I was looking for for one night a cheap hotel near the train station-and by means of friends on the hotel attentive.
Price-performance mostly okay, but the single room and felt 4 meters² ( exclusive bathroom) was clearly too cramped.
Love the extra charge for a double room and then also times a little move respectively the suitcase where place,. read more

The room was okay.
But was the bed for a double room with 140 sm wide not very large, but for 2 nights enough.
Breakfast was very good. The hotel has a supel location. You can from this vantage point on foot or subway ( not far from the hotel) everything was very good and quick to reach.
Will be back. read more

We were from 21.-23.09. 2012 with a ladies groups in the hotel Leonet and to have per person and night with breakfast over 90,00 Euro paid.
The hotel is now really getting old. The rooms could more differently not be partly with completely out and the for the same price. The furniture really already seen better days and were totally worn. The cleanliness of the rooms left nothing to the imagination.
The elevator the built in 1962 on, what very vertrauenerweckend was.
With the simple breakfast buffet you could only the bread enjoy. The cold cuts consisted ... of packaged salami, small cans as well as tinned sausage and Bierwurst.
This hotel I can now really not recommend.

The single rooms are for sleeping and showers for 1a 2 nights OK but not more. Everything very badly soundproofed, partly missing the door seals. The 4 hotel parking are for the number of rooms too few. The Einzelzimmerausstattung has the best past. However is the hotel probably just partly renovated. The Gastro in the hotel I can't say. read more

A dirty unbearable room decorated with worn.
Toilet a nightmare, radiator was feces flecked, toilet seat was not cleaned.
In the room detachable antenna on the floor to the bathroom.
The edge of the bed was disgusting stains. In the wardrobe (chopping) large dirt stains.
The carpet was very stained. The furniture ancient it loose the edges of the furniture. The staircase with the charm of a parking garage, dirty, sockets totally shattered walls dirty.
Only the man at the reception was friendly and accommodating. I cannot understand the this hotel only a positive review got. I can answer this ... statements on the basis of images show. Never again I will a hotel with Expedia book. Negative reviews will not be published. Money will not be refunded. read more

The leonet is located in quiet, however central location, not far from the famous shopping streets of Cologne,. The staff are willing to help, seemed however partly something overburdened, especially, because this travel time absolutely was fully booked. Recommendable. read more

An average three star hotel. We had booked comfort double room. Were however the standard double room
indistinguishable. Heating in the room worked not really-was not really warm. Breakfast was OK.
for visiting a Karnevalsveranstaltung nearby the hotel was certainly not the worst.
in the next Times book however again a four-star hotel-just a little bit more expensive- therefore pleasant!
Due recommendable price performance ratio okay. read more

Three Stars too much for the dump!
the Proseccokorken and bags in hotel room upon arrival, the reception short and tight, the borders in the room are half on the floor, from the visible thick dust and dirt apart. In the bathroom, the mold received, the exactly gladly to the marble windowsills shows.
after a noisy night breakfast in the bar in the basement. For as many offered rooms a only Eggcups to set up, it was something special. The sausage packaged packages sliced, no covers on the tables, everything you need for a three star hotel actually not conceivable. ...
the best was the request after new towels with the housekeeping, that despite Ruhebitte simply anklopfte. There were four new Bath mats enough, but unfortunately no shower or towel, but bath towels at the building probably not.
the room was extraordinary small, in the bathroom you could hardly turn and all together very old and shabby.
but: the Cologne straßenkarneval nearly everything righted!
next year gladly again in the carnival, but in the other hotel. read more

The location and the staff of the hotel are great! Always friendly and helpful.
especially recommend taxi reputation. Within 5 minutes was one on site.
subway and tram direct around the corner. Exactly like a REWE the until 24 o'clock opens.
A Starbucks and a large Savings bank are 5 minutes distant.
the only negative was definitely the view! Had a single room on the ground floor. Direct before my window, was the hotel parking, where constant some cars or driving away had! The noise went to the night. and started in the morning at 6 o'clock at. The curtains ... so you had to always to make, because one otherwise always be observed could. read more

Very getting old; sleepless night, mattress worn, curtains fulfilled their purpose at all, you can exactly well depend, breakfast buffet: the cheapest from cheap.

If you don't large expectations and just stress-free in Cologne for a few days want to stay, you will find in the hotel A Leonet good value for money. Unfortunately, in my case the communication between the central and cancel the hotel central ideal, which makes me a wrong room was assigned. We (three adults) stayed in Cologne to a concert and a tv recording, so we were looking for a cheap hotel. We had booked a three-bed room. Hotel is located in a very convenient location (three minutes walk to the Rudolphplatz). But parking is very inconvenient in the street and parking places scarce, therefore parking garage in the area used. Tip if you were staying for longer, if late arrival is car parking outside since only from nine to 18 o'clock must be paid for. I would have preferred in the morning take the car in the parking garage then ... it is only 24 hour one-time 18 €for. Rooms are in old 70/80's. charm. The new falchbildschirm was almost out of place. All three beds stood apart, the setting a bed with a sleep couch. Unfortunately, the bedding was not very clean or had stains were the not want to leave. I had before arrival (springs), hypo-allergenic bedding but had probably taken by the central (?) in Hamburg to receive a reply. I would be the provided. The result was a hypo-allergenic duvet but pillows with feathers. So basically useless. Why do I get a reply from the central the you don't know what the hotel in Cologne? Had the pillow nothalber misuse. Breakfast was okay, but not overwhelming. We had a second breakfast both days and felt a bit like lost as the breakfast was very good in general. One to the foreign language of the staff. From the front desk staff I can unfortunately no picture but the housekeeping was very a mix of cultures and can therefore offer with many languages but unfortunately with a lot of German.-/ on the whole the hotel is a good choice if you don't have high expectations. It can also be that some of the rooms had been renovated but they could not bring experience. read more
