The hotel is located in the 2. number, to the dream beach it was about 3 minutes walk. The hotel is very well-kept. Compared to a star hotel in Egypt this here the cleanliness at least 7 stars. The food is tasty and actually, there is always there is something for everybody. The breakfast buffet is with a sausage sort (cooked geflügelschinken ) and one sort of cheese (emmentaler) perhaps a bit small, if you boiled eggs, omelets, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, crepes, granola, yogurt, fruit, bacon, sausages, baked beans. Didn't like it. Our only point of criticism is the ... bread. Everywhere on the island one sees Baguette, only not. Here there are old small bread rolls and toast. A shame. Attentive, extremely friendly and courteous, french and english speaking staff the stay very comfortable. On our departure day we were allowed our rooms without an extra charge until 16:00 o'clock keep (normal 12:00 a. m.) and a free lunch (we had booked all inclusive) take. Because we to Maritius traveling around television to see, we found it of course not great, that it was not a single german channels. All in all gladly anytime again! read more

Massive problem with ants in a nice area

On the first glance a nice hotel: 3 pools, to which the balconies the room are aligned, very green and very tidy. The rooms are simple designed - in my opinion a star hotel in the south just. Unfortunately however, you don't have 2. view car. We are within 8 days 2 times moved. First we had a room in the middle building, 2. floor. The view of the complex was great, however, it was quite noisy at night, if during dinner once again loud constant noise disturbance by a band was announced. We found the food rather disturbing and ... in the room just right. There was an ant trail directly at our balcony and a part of the ants cleared a path to our door and wanted to penetrate. We changed the room and hoped, apart from the noise the ants loose-will-in vain. Our 2. room was in the front building, 2. floor (near reception). There was peace, however therefor we had in the evening geckos in the room (ok, so that you can live with) and then a real problem with ants. Meisenstraßen left and right the balcony and purposeful in the upper corners of our balcony door. The ants had success and could cracks between the frame and glass use into the room arrive. We complained, it was from the outside venom injected, what the ants encouraged, is into the room to escape. We found out, that the ants in the door frames life. On the next day transported their eggs from there and the road was there again. Also were nun 8 dead roaches on our balcony. We complained once again (because of the ants) and we were 2 room shown. We decided (also because of a statement of the cleaning lady) for the superior room, as there was less ants should be. The room was in a noisy area right on the 'dining room', but we decided, better the music in purchase than the insektenproblem fallen attack evening. In the superior room there were actually much less ants. Only a few, the apparently in the shower stall lived. We sprayed poison, which we had to give leave, and clogged the cracks with toilet paper. Therefore, we had peace. We had in every room once a kakerlak kill must, you probably in this complex resigning. But i would the operator strongly recommend, something against the problem with ants something to do, then my evaluation definitely better and with a recommendation complete. So unfortunately, i can only advise against. Guests a lot of french people - as on the whole island. In november rather older people, couples and families with small children, the not yet schoolable mostly are. We felt this as pleasant. Cleanliness: well, as the is in southern countries stop like that-standard. read more

    The rooms were relatively large, the furniture for the most part ageing. In all 3 rooms, which we inhabited, were the beds pretty shaky. In superior -room was even a Latte so broken, that you clearly could see, if one under the bed looked. When genaum look one could determine, that already a few flickereien carried out-the obviously broken Latte. Thus was the problem known, but it was not really repaired. A shame. In some rooms a kettle available. A mini bar we had in all 3 rooms. The air conditioning could be controlled individually, but this was in our 2. room so appropriate, that you directly on the bed was, which was a bit unpleasant. Tv and free safe with individually auwählbarem code were also available.

    The hotel's restaurant a side openly, which was pleasant, since you're not in a unterkühlten room had to sit. From the breakfast we were disappointed. We had in reviews already read, that poor should be, but we thought, the people were simply too demanding. There was a kind of tasteless, rather dry bread rolls, toast, one sort of yogurt, one sort of cheese, sausage and jam, honey, two kinds of cereal, pancakes with chocolate cream, and you could omelets made. There were also some hot food (baked beans and so on.). To drink there was one sort of juice and tea/coffee. I liked as well as for a 3 star hotel a little the alternation and selection was missing. The dinner was alright - a star hotel perfectly adequate. The lunch buffet i cannot say anything, since we only booked half board had, but absolutely sufficient was.

    The hotel staff was always friendly and tried hard. It became predominantly french, but also with english you always got along. At the front desk there was also always the possibility someone there or call, spoke german. Our complaints about the ants has from the side the manager with ' ants are attractet by the trees' commented on, but nevertheless taken serious.

    The very nice beach is really close and is frequented by locals, which was very pleased. A supermarket is nearby, in the you could get the most necessary shopping (drinks etc.). Unfortunately one can in trou aux biches in the evening nothing more. Although there a few bars in the vicinity of the hotel, where you can find cheap food (under 5 Euro for a curry), but in the evening at least 21 hours is shut down.

A pretty small hotel, very friendly atmosphere. The food was not so varied, as expected. Has missed fish, although it fish abound in this country. One becomes full, but at this point you will feel the three stars clearly. We would have had more local choice of food desired. The meat was often not started to cook. You can recommend the hotel, the food not. Therefore we would next time another hotel select. read more

The furnishings the complex we enjoyed very much, the garden especially! The staff were very friendly, you worried us a very pleasant room, which very spacious was, if the furniture unimaginative. Very we enjoyed the solution the shaded balcony, was architecturally successful solutions see! A pleasant, manageable complex. read more

A very comfortable area with three pools, always free beach chairs and nice staff. The rooms are functional, but very clean. The food was tasty and also for vegetarians there was always something to find. To the public, beautiful beach you have to walk across the street and a few meters, but it's not a problem. Nearby is a bus station, from there you got to the next villages or other beautiful beaches. Felt very comfortable in it, and for those price (is one of the budget hotels) highly recommended! read more

Actually a beautiful hotel with very nice staff, but with large flying (there normal) and unfortunately the small roaches in the room. Spray didn't get the front desk and traded. Private beach access does not exist and at the public beach, where you can rent beach chairs, in a hotel renovated. The whole day and saw noise and flex circuit dust. The Bautempo will remain so for a long time. Got a bit further located in the sand. read more

For the price category were really good hotel. But bring bug spray... the flies everywhere, there is much to see, so it is not so often in the hotel half board is sufficient. read more

Really a great hotel for three stars. The buffet could have been a bit nicer be arranged. Staff are very friendly and helpful, also to the children. The beach was really not far and with wonderful palm trees. Perfect for children. read more

The hotel is located in a small side street about five minutes from the very friendly (no life guard) sandy beach only separated by a small coastal road. For all inclusive tourists spots the perfect room at the front of the hotel area. Very friendly thoughtful local staff read more

Pleasant stay with very friendly service staff. The hotel is located in a quiet area and is very well maintained and clean. Communication in German language is only possible with the hotel manager. For communication you should the English or French language. read more

Small hotel in a quiet location. Very well kept and generously equipped room with a large bathroom and a balcony/terrace. three minutes footpath to the beautiful sandy beach. Everything was very neat and clean, very friendly staff. In terms of price/performance ratio just top. We would book again at any time the Le palm is. read more

Selection of dishes for breakfast was rather moderate, for the price but acceptable. (As we) who Indian, creole, Asian cuisine, comes at the lunch and dinner fully at its expense. Very Delicious! If you didn't taste, which are prepared on request also burger with fries. The cocktails, the all-inclusive offer include, tasty and optically a feast for the eyes. The staff is friendly, attentive and fast; occasional tip is in any case appropriate. The cleanliness of the pools left a lot to be desired. But now you have it:we were relieved over 180 euros, probably even in the safe. ... A British couple robbed around 260 pounds. Only components of the cash changeover held were stolen, I guess a number of unreported cases undetected theft (see Hotel reviews from Paul, June 2009). The hotel management was totally inadequate and lamented over the tops of their voices claiming, instead of trying to be around information and support. The intermediary police this hotel has probably now in particular focus. Our conclusion: without the theft and the trouble it would be a wonderful vacation former. read more

A nice small sweet Hotel. Nice to very nice staff. Delicious and varied food. For three stars really correct, even if there are other opinions. There was no reason to complain about. Except for the condition of the wardrobe. Smelled a bit of damp the air. They immediately tried to solve the problem, but did not. But it wasn't't the end of the world. Since the room huge and a third bed in it was the clothes on the bed. Often our jewelry was open and sometimes a little change. There is no staff to have gone. They have once ... more not even took the tip. We didn't have obviously put on the bed. The way to the beach-easy-. Nice for strolls. The beach at our time very quiet. More locals swimmers. At the nearby supermarket was good and cheap shopping. Also Cards. Super Cheap. The Gertenanlage is very well maintained. The drinks and cocktails were delicious and really great cheap. The security people were very polite. So, all in all, it was a three star hotel to book. read more

The hotel is located on the most beautiful stretch of coastline (for snorkeling) location. To the beach one had to go only two minutes. We stayed in the dead season, the hotel was only occupied by half, therefor the beach was almost empty. Our rooms were large, clean and comfortable. The kitchen: the food was scanty seasoning. It was therefore in the long run boring. There was daily a creole court. We are the best-but you know never lack of description, which it was. The breakfast was very good. The guests at the hotel mainly consisted of German guests, some ... Indian guests and a few British and French guests. The hotel language was English, as well as French. As a result, the communication was no problem with the staff. read more

Decent hotel in a safe environment comfort; can only be recommended for vacationers, the adventurous are! Introdution: three years ago we stayed at the beachcomber le canonnier in grand Baie, only a few miles from Le palm in trou aux biches away. The canonnier is significantly more expensive than the Le palm is, every additional cent worth! We would never go more into the palm. The hotel: nice, coherent, harmonious complex. Great room with cheap furniture, however. Food with exceptions quite properly. The beach is far stretching great. Good starting point for the super cheap public bus to grand Baie ... or Superbucht pereybere, in our opinion, especially at the weekends the swimming paradise for the locals and is very interesting for us. Also you can eat delicious and cheap. Hotel Le palm is the environment: there is a supermarket in about 200 meters away and no dining or the like, where tourists could have fallen. The nearby beachcomber trou aux biches was located in total-Construction and fell as large-construction as alternative. The immediate proximity to the relatively big place Triolet, the almost exclusively under the deep Dominican Republic-level, particularly the darkness dangerous. In this area, as well as in pereybere and increased crime. Port Louis Le palm is evening in the final 'caught'. There will be two to three times each week entertainment offered, but with 'garden plot level' and so at least we said nothing. The trick: we were in the room for 50 euro easier. We made a complaint to the police, because the travel guide personnel were fantastic. They left us alone. We were supported only by a German-speaking Frenchwoman, the Police (with town-inspection) convinced. The hotel management took the only. And: all hotel areas as well as all banks on the whole island as Militäranlagen guarded, so close, isolated, which has its reasons. Conclusion: as well as three years ago we had this year despite the flaws a great vacation on Mauritius. We were just a lot of traveling there, in particular -Catamaran tour Ilot Gabriel (weather-wonderful! In) -Renta car: market Mahe Bourg, to Grande Riviere Sud Est Eastern and Ile aux cerfs -Renta car: grand Bassin, chamarel etc., and East Coast high in Le morne Bus: Port Louis with the Champ de Mars and several grand Baie, pereybere including malheureux -Walking distance we went on some beautiful beach. For example, we have maze several hours the place Triolet, with the result: there must be no normal-tourist EVER BACK! read more

I can say it was my best holidays since a long time , the hostel is just at 2min from the ocean , the peoples are very profesional in what they do , the quality is here no doubt , I recommand the travel day in quatamaran ,the greatest thing i have ever do .the golf is wonderful also...;) .what say more ...great island .I ll go back soon. We went to Mauritius for a family Wedding which took place in the Grande Baie area. 12 of us chose to stay at Le Palmiste as it was cheaper than surrounding hotels. We were not dissapointed. The staff were friendly, the food was good, the hotel was clean & our rooms were spacious & well equipped. The hotel was about 5 minutes walk from the beautiful beach at Trou aux biches. They were just completing a health spa/ beauty salon whilst we were there so unfortunatly we didn\'t get to try it out. There was a small supermarket 5 minutes ... away & a few restaurants within walking distance. The bus stop to Grande Baie was about a ten minute slow walk. There were always taxis waiting outside the hotel, I think it cost about £5 to Grande Baie where there are quite a few shops & restuarants including a hypermarket called super U that sells everything! You can hire a Taxi for the whole day for £25 that will take you anywhere you may want to go. I would not hesitate to recommend Le Palmiste. read more
