Fanari sea (circa 300 meters away from main building, but with its own reception and restaurant) smaller bungalow with 22 units.
Avoid this hotel ( no-go) if:
Du the sink hot water need.
Du a bathtub need.
You in doppelbungalow a snoring neighbor would bother.
Du german speaking guests bevorzugst (at our time there were - Jan- march-only scandinavians there, often families with 3 children and seniors).
On its own beach on the protective barrier to the part. Poor umbrellas and partly. Short beach chairs.
A closet for your clothes need (shorts and t-shirt are completely)

Warm and competent staff with the part. Limited english knowledge.
Thorough room cleaning.
Spacious, bright bedroom with two huge king size beds, pleasant fine linens with different pillows (2 hard and 2 soft and cushions.
Wi-fi (reliable and fast) and safe and bathrobe etc.
Short distances to the beach and rich breakfast, as well as to the small pool.
Cheap and good restaurant also in the main building ( for example fleischspiesse from the charcoal with salad buffet and variables side dishes for 159 thb = about 4 Euro! )
Many good restaurants in walking distance. Mo, mile and sa large market of 1300 to at 20:00 o'clock the main street.
We now 7 weeks tested and felt comfortable. We'll be back! read more

We have 2 weeks in fanari resort. Deluxe polacess room booked with direct pool access. Staff were very friendly and willing to help. Room every day clean cleaned, fresh towels, and beach towels. The breakfast was ok, you can't complain, us tasted. Some pub and restaurants were nearby. We feel good, we can recommend the hotel. Will come again. read more

We had originally booked only 5 days at fanari courtyard booked, after it but liked a great deal, we asked for 9 days extended. We had a pool-access room in the main building. This is to the air conditioning the unfortunately exactly the beds aims very nice and clean. Why nowhere fly screen attached, so that you at night while having the windows open sleep, understand we do not. Is however almost everywhere so.
The pool is nice and large and despite high season it was never crowded.
Breakfast was also very tasty although not very varied. But always warm ... thai dishes and freshly made omelets or fried eggs.
The location is not bad, but you have to a few meters to the beach walk. If high tide is, can a few hundred meters will, because then the nahegelegenste access to the beach impassable is.
All together a very recommendable hotel with very good staff in a good location from Khao Lak read more

The hotel is located in the 2. number, so no directly at the beach. In a few distance is at the beach. The hotel is very good, the staff are very hard-working. This hotel we can definitely recommend. Who the excursions more personal, but nevertheless safe and with german speaking tour manager, should absolutely with possibility's nature tours in Khao Lak book. These trips are great and not 0815. One finds opportunity and Simone at the 'connor's sports bar & beer garden in Khao Lak City (from city direction bang niang on the right side quite far above). A food ... also worth it. The owners are german and therefore there is a lot of speak german. read more

In the catalog of the tour operators is FX resort with 3.5 stars excellent. In my opinion is it 1 star too much. The street opposite is the four star hotel Chongfa, the absolutely 4 star.
FX resort seems to me from the family to be run, not professional, and the room price (50 euros) is the price performance ratio not fair. Nice people, but simple rooms (the photos in the travel catalog is way too beautiful made) and basic service. Make in the room nothing broken, as the hotel a relatively expensive bill for for example a cheap ... Tumbler represents. read more

A rather small, quiet hotel in the second row to the beach in about 2 to 3 minutes to reach. The breakfast buffet was all right and varied. By the pool we had 2 times lunch: tasty but for a European Stomach too few. At the cleanliness, room, pool, restaurant..., was absolutely nothing to worry about. The areas by the pool for the massages and SpA were well maintained and clean. The staff there very friendly and competent. The prices they were also not more expensive than outside the hotel. I would really like to go back to this hotel. The beach I personally as bad, because now also like the menam beach in Ko Samui pack of dogs run around. The dogs are kept in Samui, but I do not like it when I anytime again Dogs under the couch have.

the hotel is cheap and clean. Unfortunately it is not located directly on the sea. You can the beach chairs by the sister hotel Fanari beach resort use, but in the high season it is also scarce. we had a good stay in the FX resort( however next door was a construction site, the construction but bungalows soon finished). We had a bungalow with beautiful terrace, the garden with orchids and tropical plants overlooking the pool, rented.
the breakfast was OK. We kept the Thai dishes, they were always fresh.
Definitely rent a scooter (please be careful, left), so you can get at wonderful Beaches and interesting hinterland.
the highly rated Kleopatra white, sandy beach is a beautiful Spot but a lot too crowded, reminiscent of Teutonic. It will also, 100 Baht per person for the pool ... chair (see pictures) required.

great hotel in a good location we were not in the high season, it was pretty quiet there. We had only breakfast booked, was delicious and the selection was also enough. I had a standard room in a 2 story building, which was surrounded of bungalows and palm trees garden. The room was big and clean with a large balconyi had a beautiful view of the palm trees and a bit Andamansea.

A very beautiful three star hotel, the value for money is very good. The beach could be reached in a few minutes. Restaurants and all other shopping possibilities are in the immediate proximity. Very well maintained rooms and bungalows, nestled in a lot nature. At the moment there is in the immediate vicinity a new hotel built, but has not led to noise. The house was completely renovated and November 2009 newly opened. The breakfast could have been a bit rich may be. super hotel for this price and is good value for money. You need only through the Chong FAH and it is through at the beach. Highly recommended are the bungalows around the pool. Nice very courteous staff, quiet location. (this is very important in Thailand) no bars around. We were already 18 times in Thailand. In about 5 minutes distance to shop and other restaurants.
