A very nice hotel for those seeking peace. Into the water it goes over a footbridge. Due to the political unrest in Egypt are very few visitors there, which of course very pleasant was. The salads are delicious the meat is rather undrinkable. The beverage prices are as a part of. Wine and water was always in it have been ☺ All in all a nice relaxing holiday. For families with children probably however rather unsuitable, since it all around nothing but rocks are. Dahab is about 15 minutes with the free shuttle bus to reach. read more

There was a beach at which one not swim-pretty bad if you beach vacation there is. Massages were not possible, since some massage therapist on vacation was - in short one had into another hotel drive ( Hilton) to its massage and to swim. In the bathroom it smelled pushy and permanently after fäkalien. This does not correspond to the standards of a 5 star hotels. Never again! read more

Our vacation in Le Meridien dahab was the arrival until the departure absolutely perfect. Great comfortable atmosphere and very friendly staff left nothing to be desired. Although during our stay just about 50 guests in the hotel were, gave it to all meals (we had booked all inclusive) plenty of selection and variety and the staff was also available in a large number. At the beach was it was empty-we had almost everything for us-it was the beach bar with 3 waiters stocked, the us at regular intervals (not pushy or annoying ) with drinks hospital. The whole complex, velvet ... pool and beach top maintained and very clean. We had the superior room, which very spacious and well equipped was. Also the bathroom was very large. Towels there was each quantity, which is filled up also daily changed. From our room we had a spectacular view on the sea. All employees of the hotel speak perfect and understandable english. Conclusion: Great hotel for couples, the rest and relaxation without great entertainment and looking for action. Especially in the winter season (november until 15 december). Dream holiday from the first to the last minute - we will be back! read more

Area: the Le Meridien dahab located right next to the coast and is in a sloping hillside. The complex is with around 100 to 200 rooms the smallest in dahab. The one-story bungalows (all with a balcony with, partly eingeshränkter, sea view) are spread over several thousand square meter and very stylish in the hilly desert landscape a. The complex is according to information of a waiter 7-years-old and accordingly well maintained. Mainly natural stone but also wood. Guests come from France, Germany, Russia of all ages.     We had a standard room (superior), was around 10 to 15 meters ² large and had mini bar (costs), kettle, instant coffee, tea free. Flat screen tv. Best photos look at. Air conditioning of course,. Attention: mosquitos! There will be injected, but we had every evening in the room. Gel plugs carry forward! In terms of cleanliness, mentioned above, the floor was of 7 days 1 times damp wiped clean. Otherwise very welcoming, even the toiletries in the bathroom were every time arbitrated and the clothes was folded up. Bath and shower.

The breakfast and dinner (we had the half board) in a well-defined and much larger area prepared. Here there are likewise to an outdoor area, but it is of a somewhat erodiertem wooden scaffold bordered and less stylish than the vie. Food: in summary one could eat every night about from 5 different main courses to choose: 2 times meat, 1 fish, pasta station (was freshly prepared and surprisingly really good, al dente the pasta and tomato sauce very good ) but unfortunately no seafood or other treats, only spices, vegetables and tomato sauce. 1-2 vegetarian dishes and 1-2 side dishes (rice or potatoes). From 7 nights at 3 evenings from the chef meat from the cut. Compared, 2010 Hurghada 5* Grand Resort, about 20 main courses and about 5 liveköche. The food was fine. Starters were always cold and around 5 to 6 different. Desserts ok, about 8 different. Every evening there was a special topic, but on the basis of the offered courses difficult was evident. Example Seafood evening, here have 3 different sorts of fish and crabs, no shells, no shrinps. Turkey for the no fish and the pasta station, from.     Friendliness of the staff was great. The waiters was always make an effort, even if the buffet not always immediately refilled and the coffee in the morning sometimes more n (up to 10 minutes), i had always the feeling, that the staff tried hard. English spoken. The cleaning of the rooms was rather superficially, my friend, it is not noticeable, but the commanding only 1 times in our week stay was wiped. There is a child services on the complex.

    To the beach it is a few minutes walk downhill on stages (ramps). To the airport sharm el sheike it was about 60 minutes to dahab city 5 minutes by car. Shopping/desk/dahab city : in the hotel complex there was a souvenir shop which sanitation as suntan cream, tampons, etc. And cigarettes offers. In dahab city there are many shops all souvenirs offer. There is a very nice about 2 kilometer long beach promenade where the stores concatenate. At the beach rows a bar/restaurant on the other. Here you can on sun loungers and enjoy a drink while the numerous divers with the watch. Also tours, excursions you can book here (Ras Mohammed, blue hole, 3 pools, etc.) Up to 4'. Cheaper than in the hotel, but more of a mass-production. The groups are always rather small, but the destination itself the masses together. We were given a 3-hour snorkeling tour to about 30 minutes from the city centre, the blue hole to 7,50 Euro (1. price offered) offered. Tours can also directly in the diving center of the hotel be booked. Us said dahab is Sharm el Sheik i do not know, only small. Daheb one visits in 2-3 hours. I was for the 4. time in the Meridien and was impressed by the storm on 18 november with a massive mud, as all of the staff itself set in has, to normalcy as soon as possible to produce. I am ashamed for some europeans, after a new hotel and money geldrückerstattung crying after the motto being stingy is cool, although the rooms were not affected and already on the first evening in one of the restaurants, with more through understanding guests, the supper available was. We have in this hotel 3 wonderful, relaxing weeks. The complex is nothing for partygänger and small children. Hotel, room, service, food and beach everything great. To criticize would be about the lack of wind screen at the beach, excessive price in the minibar and the lack of a meaningful Grundinformation in German language. Disagreements in the settlement ( we had the half board), as well as a complaint ( mini bar) were immediately fixed. It was a great vacation in dahab. There are no excursions into the desert and to Jerusalem offered, but because of the political location. Lots of guests weren't there. Shuttle bus there were 2 times a day. read more

If relaxing vacation, coupled with friendliness and good service the objective are, then the Méridien Dahb the right place for a week or two. Excursions possible, very good rif nearby, varied water sports possibilities, boat trip in only ten minutes to the most beautiful corals -fish-always in the middle of the sea. We are now three times there been and are every time very satisfied. read more

Great hotel, great rooms, we had a deluxe room with private inner courtyard ( not visible) with outdoor shower and beach chairs, large beautiful bathroom. We were also have a' normal' rooms, the rooms are almost identical except for the absence of the court and the bathroom is somewhat small, but also very nice and spacious. Tip: we booked the upgrade to the deluxe room organized on site at a price from 40 dollars/ night. On the tour operators it would be much more expensive. Very nice, accommodating staff, dinner very varied ( every day something else) and it was ... every day something for everyone, which really was very good. The desserts were always a dream. Very nice ambience in the main restaurant evenings. Very nice, well kept pool complex, beach towels very generously spent (4 piece for 2 people were never a problem). Access to the sea is only possible via a footbridge because of a lying off Korallenriffes ( snorkeling is recommendable nonetheless!). We really enjoyed it! read more

my wife and I were for a week there and pleasant surprised. Actually we were lots of Russian guests, but it was not a single there; at least we noticed no one on. Through our many travel across Asia are we in relation to the high hotel standards but quite spoiled and we have been set, that we of reductions regarding service etc. would have to do-but: it was not, as we had feared. the hotel, the rooms and the whole( pleasant offering a clear view) area were well maintained. The service was( on the whole) quickly and in any ... case extremely accommodating. as also extremely pleasant we found the lack of entertainment! We had peace & relaxation wished and got exactly that, and friendly and better looked after atmosphere. (Found on the hotel extension instead of (a new SPA is), but even they walked so quiet and unobtrusive from, that one it hardly noticed. ) we hope, that the hotel his concept of peace & relaxation keep it up consistently, so we back wanted! read more

    Very good! -Even unusual requests in regards food were promptly fulfilled and perfect implemented (so for example a I desired chili sauce, whose ingredients and preparation I a waiter in the restaurant 'La vie' explained and me really no 20 minutes later the fillet was offered!). Irrespective of the merits the food service at le Meridien all in all a high praise, the probably a large part, and in particular the chef of the hotel deserve, from the Alsace comes! the entire hotel team was operating together and, as a team-a does not exist, gave it not! (Either- once again the food on-, that I grilled vegetables ordered, or my wife 'surf & turf', which are both on the map was listed-without any wounded comment were our needs promptly fulfilled!)

We are in the evening arrived and we had a great ' first impression' through the already from the entrance was very nice lit hotel complex. we booked half-board since the all inclusive-surcharge for 2 weeks over 700, -EURO fraud. Afterwards as beneficial, as we drinks (also used as a minibar) and daily lunch in the restaurant at the beach not even 500, -EURO paid. the architecture is not Oriental and works at the start a bit cool, they were the pools well heated, the fresh water pool had even 32 degrees. The guest structure consisted during our stay from ... the German and British, some 'good' Russians, Swiss, Austrians and Dutch. the State of Maintenance of the hotel is different. In spite of the visible efforts everything reasonable to hold, is on closer Speculation still somewhere a future building site to see. The new spa area (currently still under construction) looks from the outside very, very promising and will for certain the hotel further enhance. read more

    Since all rooms with a view toward the sea, you could lucky and still in the second or third row a clear view of the sea have. Less luck you can see the back of the somewhat deeper front row and on their flat roof the sea. we had a standard room (superior) booked and suburb on beachfront (deluxe) altered since we didn't have wanted. This rooms have additional a to the rear of the small inner courtyard with additional outdoor shower, a somewhat larger bath with Klappfenstern to open. The terrace is forward to the sea and we had a very large, very comfortable double bed. the furniture was in very good condition and seemed really new. flat screenTV with two German programs (Second channel of German television and RTL). the cleaning was very good, daily change of towels, bed sheets all 3a 4 days. The mini bar was daily refilled, same prices we in the restaurant.

    the pools also stayed at the January/February. Well heated. One has daily new towels at the beach or by the pool receive, had to find this never.     the hotel lies outside of dahab and is on a private lane reachable. The US at any time peace doubletalk. the nearest hotel is the Mercure hotel( also 5 stars), about a mile away from dahab's centre. on the new departure the 'highway' is the hotel only 90 kilometers away sharm El Shaikh and in less than one hour one is at the airport. in the village center of dahab are lots of shops, bars and restaurants, here you can for little money good and cheap food. The shops offer almost all the same things at, but they are really at least a trip into the place value. the possibilities for excursions in the immediate vicinity are very varied. By various tour operators half-day trips up to routes over several days, everything was offered. The tours, which tour operator offer, are substantially more expensive than in case of a booking with the 'local' suppliers. If you risk don't mind can almost 50% savings. We have 2 trips made and were very satisfied.

There are luckily ... almost no tourists from Eastern Europe in the hotel. read more

    We had a normal standard room, the size of the room( about 35 square meters) is absolutely sufficient. The rooms were every day perfect cleaned. In the all inclusive package will even the minibar daily free filled. All things the one required ( coffee, tea, hair dryer, bathrobe Satellite TV, etc.) are available. The terrace the room (907) was very private and other hardly eizusehen.

    There is in the hotel three restaurants. Particularly beautiful we found the restaurant sails right at the waterfront. We were able to all inclusive Catering daily lunch free from the à la carte menu. The quality of the dishes and drinks is in the restaurants very good. The breakfast buffet is very extensive, class each morning freshly squeezed orange juice! By the small number of guests, the employees a lot of time for your guests.

    Very positive we found the lack of entertainment in the hotel. In the reception area you can use Internet free of charge. As already mentioned is the pool landscape very nicely laid out. The chairs on the beach the thick editions and were very comfortable. Umbrellas, Standmuscheln, showers, beach towels, everything in good condition and plentiful available. Evenings and at night it was in the hotel very quiet.

    Le Meridien is very einasm on direct at the beach, to dahab we are about two hours on foot gone. The beach is in my opinion the only Mangelpunkt. Very stony and for children not suitable. Excursions were to our Travel date because of the political situation possible.

We felt this hotel 2011 looked at, for the next trip. We were not disappointed. Everything was to our full satisfaction, although we only superior room booked had. The pools are very nice, the beach (access sea jetty) is dreamlike, very spacious. Are available sauna and the steam bath with jacuzzi (complimentary). In the summer should the spa area be ready (in shaa' Allah). The cleanliness in the whole hotel was exemplary, as well as the maintenance of the rooms. Every wish fulfilled, on leaving the hotel we were several times in our satisfaction questioned. Some of the rooms were ... designed in January( low season) renovated, Maintenance is a principle! because of the minimum utilization in January, was the offer at the buffet not huge, but however qualitatively very good! we have already booked for May! thank you very much again at Mr. A.! read more

We were now already for the second time at le meridian dahab. It was again very beautiful, the well-kept complex is perfect and offers next to a beautiful architecture and great location from sunbathing to water skiing varied variety. Both the staff in service as well as the boys at the beach are always friendly and very hard-working, the desires of the guest to fulfill. this time we had however a special pleasure. The hotel has a'new staff' in the form of an small Dog. Alex, so is he, has a large Share of the informal and friendly atmosphere at ... the beach. We arrived on the dog with so many guests completely at ease in the conversation. He was at all friendly but unobtrusive. In the children and adults the small right in the heart of music. We very much hope, that the hotel management the value of the new employee recognizes and not plans, the small, in whatever form, 'to dispose of'. It would be nice, if a little responsibility for the small Trainees apply could, because we are very happy, him with our next visit recovered to find. read more

In dahab the best available five star hotel. It is of dahab a little out of the way, but two times a day a free shuttle. Or you can take a taxi to dahab, the only 30.50 £E (about 3,75 euros) costs. The hotel offers just about everything, which perfect holiday belongs. read more

we are still in the MERDIEN. All are hard working, the best and proposals for improvements are positive implemented. It has a heated pools best far and wide. It is a free Internet access in the lobby. The daily freshly squeezed orange juice for the breakfast. Especially for the grumpy quiet relaxing holiday recommendable. read more
