Who knows what he is concede four seasons bay, holiday on luxury level - so also here. Stunning complex paralleling park, you can explore with the free mountain bikes. The villas with a private pool and a lush garden. The beaches nearly alone and extremely well maintained. Good facilities with free water skiing and cat sailing, the attached dive Base needs a little more touch but still quayside diving, but also here the staff was friendly and helpful and always ready to meet the desire of the tourists. read hotel review

We stayed 9 nights in a garden villa. The garden is very natural ( birds, frogs, etc ), quiet and privat. The villa is beautiful, functional and large. The bathroom is hugh You have also an outdoor shower. The hotel and the rooms are very clean. Staff is very friendly. There is also a very beautiful golf course. Playing golf is included also practising and the golfcar with gps. We booked this hotel to celibrate my 50 th birthday No flowers, cards etc on my birthday. Afterwards the F&B director arranged the surprise, thank you, we really appreciate. Con bicycles ... are not safe, i had a accident We stayed in halfboard. Waiters urge you to drink alcohol, wines etc. Alcohol is much to expensive in comparison with other luxury hotel chains ! At breakfast the champagne is free, but i do not drink alcohol during day time, do not urge people ! Wifi not included I recommend the hotel because of the design, the good food, the beautiful golf but I do not know if we stay at the FS next time we go on holiday in Mauritius. read hotel review

we've been with my wife at four seasons anahita for one week in the beginning on december 2012 and it was amazing experience. If You just can afford You have to go there. Resort is very clean, rooms are great and cleaned 3 times a day, breakfast is amazing with every possible thing You can imagine for breakfast You can have it- our tip is belgian waffle. Food for lunch and dinner at bamboo and aquapazza restaurant is delicius but pricey ( about twice as much as in nereby le Tousserok which is also 5 star hotel) sunbeds at the ... beach and pool are real beds and are every time specially prepared for You by staff. views are amazing for lagoon and mountains. Anahita golf course is included for resort guests which is as good as any in the world, i can compare condition to valderrama, and when i write included i mean it, transfer from/to hotel, gps equipped buggies with cold water and wet towel for clubs and dry towels for hands, and ice towel after round for refreshing. practice grounds with 300x200 meters driving range with unlimited new callaway balls and chipping and putting green.Just a heaven on earth especially for golfer.Water ski/wakeboard katamaran snorkelling also included. My wife noticed that there is no view for open ocean, You have a view to big lagoon which i find very nice. In resort transfers also included so You dont have to walk to Your room if Youre tired. So when You count all these its still expensive but not that much as it looks but its definetely worth it. only one but major problem was that when we booked through concierge a round on le tousserok at 14.00 nobody told us that the boat ( yes the golf course is on nereby island ) goes every hour from 7 am from 5 pm So at 6 pm afer round we called reception to pick us up and the lady told us sorry but last boat went at 5pm when we asked for additional boat which we were willing to pay for, lady transferred the call to the manager and the manager told us sorry we cant do this, and LEFT US STRANDED ON THE ISLAND !!! we had to bribe 50 euro another boatsmen which was going opposite direction to different hotel to take us to four seasons after he deliver his guests to his hotel. THIS IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE ESPECIALLY FOR THIS CLASS OF HOTEL !!! we have an impression that someone before predicted most of the possibilites what guest can request and they provide it but when guest wants something they didnt do before then its a problem i dont think its a philosophy of four seasons hotel read hotel review

PROS -the beach. This was truly a nice surprise as we were a bit afraid that the man-made beach at the lagoon was going to be a big disappointment (after having read all the Tripadvisor reports, and after having staid at the nice beach of the One & Only). Well, the beach is very, very nice for Mauritian standards (sand not too soft and no waves at all, but that is not different from elsewhere on the island). In fact, I would even rank it higher in beauty than the beach of the One & Only hotel. It is a ... lagoon, so you will not see the typical blue shades of the ocean, but there is a complimentary boat trip every hour to the Ile De Cerfs (20 minutes away) where you can walk or sunbath along natural beaches with incredible blue water (again, no palm trees, and do not expect beaches like on the Maldives or Seychelles). - the entrance and main lobby of the hotel (with the black marble floors) is just amazing and one of the nicest hotel lobbies I ever visited (especially at night when enlightened). The hotel is made to impress to you. -the villas very spacious, uberluxurious and comfortable. They all come with their own private plunge pool (which is rather useless since the water was too cold to take a dip). -the grounds and gardens are well manicured. The domain is very large, but they run a very efficient buggy service and you can also rent bikes for free. -the food was excellent and memorable, especially at the Italian Restaurant and Beau Champs. In addition, a local lady was singing at the Italian restaurant, guided by a guitarist simply stunning voice, comparable with the late Witney Houston (they should send a video of hers to a talent scout the voice of that lady needs to be discovered asap!). - the staff (including the resort manager) and service are out of this world and will do all they can to serve you. I do not know how they do it, but somehow they all know your name by day 2. - complimentary golf CONS - to our disappointment, you could not take lunch at the beach. Somehow, they did offer some very small snacks on the beach (but these were not included in the all-inclusive formula that we were booked on). It would have been nice if they offered a lunch menu on the beach. - the spa is very nice (with stunning architecture and setting, especially at night). However, what I did not like that much was the light in the spa treatment rooms. They should dim the light more (which would add to the relaxing athmosphere). Also, while the treatment was ok, I would not rate it excellent. Somehow, this is one of the points where I think that the Four Seasons hotel chain can learn a lot from their competitor Banyan Tree which offers the best spa treatment of the world (all starting with a complimentary foot bath). - beach service was a little inconsistent some days they offered lots of complimentary snacks, some days none. - we were forgotten once by the boat to take us back from Ile de Cerfs to the resort (the boat simply did not show up). After some calls by a security agent, the boat came with a delay of 30 minutes. We were never offered an explanation nor apology. - on their website, they offer airport transfers for the outrageous price of 140 euro one way. Just know that you can also arrange a taxi for 35 euros one way (which I booked through Taxis Mauritius). - they ask a fee for wireless internet (I think 10 euros a day), which I think I ridiculous, because (1) you pay already several hundreds of euros a day on accommodation, (2) other luxury resorts like Oberoi and O&O offer this for free, (3) it irritates guests (and will keep them irritating) when they have to pay for this feature. read hotel review

We had a beach villa with direct access to the sea. The rooms are really great. The covered terrace and pool Plung can privacy very good used to be. The hotel area was very extensive, but thanks to the provided bicycles any distance is playing-the children great, by bike to go to the breakfast. read hotel review

The hotel and the overall complex really pleased us. It is distinguished by a very good level in all areas. Remarkable was the park and access to the golf course. You can free rent mountain bikes and through the complex cycling. Nice spa and wellness, and fitness center (with a pool). Kids club available. Only minor negative: the sea has a shallow entrance, the floor is however with lots of small coral (or washed up corals) covered. All in all a fantastic vacation. read hotel review

Perfect holiday at a high level! archived

We just had a perfect holiday in this beautiful, new and luxurious resort. Everything worked immediately, for example, reservations (tee times at the golf course, restaurants, SPA). It all starts at check-in: which, after a more than twelve hour trip, will be made as pleasant as possible - no queue at the reception or anything like that - you could sit comfortably with a drink in the lounge and enjoy the view of the beautifully landscaped grounds and a member of staff of the hotel, in the meantime, takes care of the formalities with passport, credit card and so ... on. Once there was a small problem, which is actually not really worth mentioning, with the electricity in our villa (refrigerator and TV were affected) - we reported this to the front desk and, in the meantime, went to Mahebourg to see the market (main shopping for the locals, very recommended to look at!!!) - during the return trip, the hotel called the taxi driver and said that the electricity problem had been taken care of. Very commendable! The staff are really very hard-working - you are always greeted in a friendly way by all, always with a smile on every face; the staff constantly asked if everything was OK. The villas are cleaned twice a day - very pleasant! Also on its own (beautiful) golf course, service was written in capitals! All in all, you can spent a wonderful luxury holiday in this place! read hotel review

For us, as the much travelled folk, it was the top destination in recent years. The highest standard in privacy, particularly in the field of individual beach bungalows. Personal service excellent, design and quality of the accommodation and facilities exclusive and very attractive. Sports facilities, including an 18-hole golf course, excellent. Excellent Spa. Some minor subtractions when it comes to the dinner offer. Not suitable for those seeking constant entertainment. The high price (note the offers!) is justified compared to other similar travel offers. read hotel review
