The hotel corresponded to our conceptions. The triple rooms were practically furnished and the furnishings was the hotel description. Boss and staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was extensive (fresh instead of par baked rolls but still beautiful).
The offered half board in the approximately 300 meters-400 meters away restaurant (bistro) resin home we also found good. The dishes were there variously and good tasting. The service was also with full bistro very friendly. read more

We have already been the 2. time there and felt very comfortable.
This time than the time only guests, nevertheless the breakfast was very plentifully limited.
Snow for winter hiking was also plentifully limited, the major attractions are still lacking in the harz mountains.

For a short break exactly the right thing. Small, clean hotel. The breakfast was varied and delicious. There was also a small kitchen for everyone, with coffee, tea and cakes. The hotel is somewhat remote the centre. Is however in a few minutes walking distance. Disadvantage: there was only federkopfkissen. Is however a matter of taste. read more

Nice small hotel in a central location however very quiet in a side street, everything very clean and fairly new, for a short break really recommendable, good value for money, only the check in needs getting used to: on the entry phone you were greeted, door opens, key and meldeformular beach chairs without comments on the counter the front desk, the next morning you see the first employees for breakfast read more

Very decent hotel!
We were welcomed in a friendly manner, generally the staff was very accommodating. All our desires were immediately fulfilled, questions answered.
We were 5 days and had an offer booked, 'hiking'. It contained the harz card. This is for all can only be recommended. They get a harzreiseführer with very many free guide in for example: hot springs, museums, harz narrow-gauge railway, sports centres, ice rinks and many more.
We stayed in the five days only two negatives found, these were:
- at the breakfast bar was damaged orange juice, which i had drunk (at the time ... were very few guests in the small hotel) and
- the alleged daily freshly baked cakes, stood still 3 days after the arrival until we made.
After the speech this of course immediately replaced.
Further commendable the rooms were cleaned daily, daily fresh towels, even our sleep things were folded. Absolutely great!
Dinner was like previously specified in a 300 meters away restaurant. At first we were a bit surprised, as we were only there to eat was allowed up to a price of 10 Euro. You have to pay extra drinks. We were a little upset as this us were not before said, but these overcome soon as we had eaten. Most dishes are reasonably priced at 10€ that's why we had usually only the drinks pay extra. The food in the restaurant 'resin home' i would recommend it. One super cared for. And after each meal there was an espresso or schierker flint on the house.

For a hiking vacation and with good weather a good hotel. A small kitchenette is very positive, as well as the very good breakfast buffet. Friendly and pleasant staff. The hiking trails start right on the hotel. Prior definitely by car, can but stay. read more

Everything nice, clean and tidy. Had the family room in other words 2 room a private bathroom is ideal for 4 persons.
Breakfast buffet was in this price range completely reasonable, plenty of choice and it was always refilled. read more

A small centrally located hotel where you can feel very well can. Breakfast buffet was very good and rich. Lunch or dinner was with a restaurant agreed lag about 300 meters away from the hotel and was included in the price half board. Also there very good food. Free time - and excursion offers very good.

If you on arrival from the charwoman welcome (and the pretty annoyed and unfriendly ),the bathroom not cleaned, so that you have a sink and the toilet cleans yourself and additionaly 1 day no toilet paper available is, subjected dirty towels (although we had these extra put them on the floor, but they were just rescinded again and were hung up!),i wouldn't recommend this hotel. The internetbeschreibung a other side is what of spa. Pool, sauna, etc., but we were looking for! Not even a small swimming pool is to be found here. In the corridor and on ... the stairs you will find dirt of a week.
Our summary: really needs to be improved! We won't be back! read more

A very pleasant experience in a good location. We were particularly happy with the hotel's small kitchen with facility for coffee and tea preparation plus a refrigerator which could be used by the hotel guests. The balcony with our room was excellent and enjoyable. The restaurant (Harz Heimat) for half-pension was a mixed pleasure with a rather limited choice of dishes. Most of the time we enjoyed sitting outside, but when weather required us to sit inside, we were exposed to a degree of noise from a children's playground placed in the middle of the restaurant. read more
