A reunion after almost seven years with the region Kemer. All in all a wonderful vacation in the Rixos Sun Gate. If you book here should know what he does (-: great front desk and great room received. The staff really extremely friendly and also tried to speak a little german. The rooms and also the exterior installations in a good condition. Food and particularly the specialty restaurants really great (even if sometimes an additional charge is required). Who simply times in the dreary winter months a break needs, is in the right place here. A really great value, but ... also many corporate events-it is at the food already times loud and fully. A suggestion here would be, the gästebetreunung (i am referring only to the ladies) a little of the devaluate from the arrogant. It is a wonderful hotel with a very well maintained garden area.
There are a lot of possibilities the day to enjoy, be it at the sea or just by the pool relax with service to in the last corner, beautiful ☺
Or many other possibilities table tennis, badminton, football, archery, and so on. Or just fun with the animators gave.
Food and drinks were just brilliant and the staff from a to z great. But should one child alone at the table sit, you will unfortunately not immediately asked if we wanted something to drink, only when the adult ... dazusetzte one waiter came up and asked what it to drink can.
The theme restaurants are also recommendable.
Our room was nice with plenty of space and cleanliness is of big importance here.
What we didn't like so much, every evening the music in the lotusarea always the same grade and the dj no wishes play could it was already very strange

The guest structure has something changed-next to numerous guests from Russia - are also many from Iran represented! We are a young family (beginning 30) and this was the first vacation trip by plane with our young daughter (4 months) beginning march 2013 in the hotel Rixos Sun Gate (main building, standard rooms with frontal beach sea). All in all we are with our stay at this hotel satisfied. This is our short assessment:
Hotel/building: you see, that the hotel is somewhat outdated and a fundamental renovation is necessary.
Room we had a huge room (#1730), about 35 square meters + 10 square meter balcony. Minibar was daily with water/beer /Cola etc. Refilled. Room cleaning was okay. Although ... we had a crib ordered, several times at the front desk requested these had inquired and this was promised, we have no cot. But we had a huge bed (mattress 2 meters times 2 meters ), so that we 3. to could sleep well. Was also good, that we had a late check-out to have gotten, so that we only around 16:30 the room to leave.
Area/territory: a huge, well-kept complex (about 0.25 square kilometer) with about 1 kilometer promenade. Very good for walking with buggies! ☺ for larger children there is a large separate separate area with playgrounds, zoo, amphitheatre, basketball court, climbing etc.). However, this was in the march not yet open. And, in principle, to the territory of many renovation/maintenance work performed, there nebensaison! Half of the restaurants/bars was therefore planned closed.
Restaurants the food was varied, that means there was something for every taste. However i would recommend, the offer reducing and more on quality to 8. Because many dishes were similar to each other. Salad bar was perfect, always fresh vegetables. The fruit was seasonal-oranges, apples, pineapple, kiwis, grapefruits, bananas. Meat, fish (at least 2 sorts) were always in different variations available, what for my husband was good. However again and again similar seasoned.
Service: some of the staff were very accommodating, nice, others not enough motivated. For example in the vitamin bar in the indoor swimming pool were freshly squeezed juices offered, however you could carrots/apple juice our entire stay (a week) does not order, as the juicer not use. Half of the bowl was always crowded with pulp, which hardly drinkable was. They were so attentive, but this seemed the staff to care.
Indoor swimming pool (approximately 25 meters long, 2-3 trains wide ) is very recommendable! There could be early in the morning almost swim undisturbed.
Spa/wellness: i have the classic hammam scrub-foam massage it (35 €, 30 minutes). The whole procedure was a bit hectic. I felt like i was on the conveyor belt. Likes it but the temperament of masseurs beach chairs.
Guests during our stay (a week) came 2 times huge quantities of people. First there was a big event an american company with employees from all over the world (80% russians). They almost the whole week over. Then turkish families with very lots of children over the weekend arrived. Then it was really loud and chaotic.
Weather: who in march traveling, with weather fluctuations expected (15-22 degrees in the shade tageshöchsttemperatur ). Half of the vacation the sun was shining and you could even at the beach partly with t-shirt/shorts beach chairs. read more

We were one week in Rixos Sun Gate, the first time, a very nice big hotel. It is everything very far apart, one must very far run, so for older people not recommendable,unless they are good on foot. After several stays in other Rixos-hotels the service was tremendous. Riveria, the about 4 or 5 years ago, we were Rixos-sun gate a bit disappointed. The quality of drinks and the atmosphere, as well as the atention of the staff in the dining room has become very slack. Outside the dining room the staff was but outgoing and friendly. For us, this vacation was alright, because we the value for money in february with included. read more

The hotel is somewhat older(the is the only decent on) but it has charm and character. While we were there, there were only 60 to 80 guests and kongressbesucher you only evenings saw, was very good so, because then came only the mood on. Who this to avoid, also no problem,there are are vast quiet places, even in the evening. Wellness area very nice, the appliances were excellent. Beverage selection was plentiful, food was good. Especially me the nature impressed, the sea, the mountains, pine trees and indescribable air. For those feeling energetic there is a gym, what really ... good equipped and Julia very competent, (thanks for the pilatus-hour, greetings). The animation was soft decorated, have nevertheless a lot of fun had, thanks Alex, Erdal and gökan (not mean if the names misspelled are). Would also like to the guest care praise, every small request was with the smile dealt with immediately (thanks elmira, Angelina and saide ). ... There not the staff (what good in the guests ignore), the only minimal cleaning from rooms and dining room (particularly the bathroom need more care!) And unfortunately extremely cheap-style meal like for instance simplest fruit, salad, etc. (does not fit the character of a 5 star hotel). read more

Unfortunately the food was sometimes only lukewarm and the plate warmer did not work. There was always something for us, but we have also already better and spicy in Turkey eaten.
Pool was large, very good coffee.
The area is large and very nice, the gardners worked the whole day.

We were now already the 4. time within a year in the Rixos Sun Gate. Service, helpfulness and catering absolutely great. There there is nothing to complain about. In the winter time are still 4 à la carte restaurant open. The quality and the service here are also excellent. There is a great spa, an indoor pool and a great gym. There are numerous possibilities in the winter/low season to keep you occupied. If the weather is nice there were enough beach chairs available. In the sea or in the outdoor swimming pools swim at this time of year to ... possible, but nothing for wimps! The vibrant bars and seating in anytime to stay a while. About the topic of russian guests we can only say: yes. Here you are, but not disturbing. As in some other reviews, we can only say: we never as a person 2. great comfortable. On the contrary. Waiters and service staff are constantly committed the wishes all guests to fulfill. (even without a large tip ) at this point many thanks for the great service at Irfan ö.!
We have now already for the 2. time christmas and new year's eve celebrated here. It was just simply great! Both at christmas, as well as on new year's eve, there was a fantastic gala dinner with very much entertainment and live music. To celebrate last year were already great, but there was this year another considerable improvement. It was just everything very professionally organized. Fireworks, party, disco, bands and live djs. Retro party prior to and snap live on january! Really great! Much praise goes to the entertainment manager and his team!
Conclusion Rixos Sun Gate is a huge, nice 5 star hotel with great service and a fantastic kitchen. Perfect for us for relaxing!

A huge grounds the hotel with many different ways of accommodation (from the umgrenzten and exclusive vip condominium, complex to 8-9 story terrassengebäude for families, and congress centre) and several unterhaltungskomplexe (huge pool areas, very nice 25 meters long indoor pool, great fitness center with state-of-the-art, expensive prof. Equipment from technogymnastik, great saunas, hammams, archery-,soccer-,beach volleyball area, padi diving centre, cinema, huge water slide, Marina with bootsanlegemöglichkeiten.). Numerous restaurants with very good all-inclusive food - but also specialty restaurants ( jap.,chinese, greek. -turkish restaurant) - unfortunately, there high prices with medium quality-especially with the drinks (bottle ... of wine 100 American Dollar and more). Hiking around the complex but relatively further away until in the nearby located mountains. Relatively bland setting to the hotel around. Walks along hardly/not possible as many adjoining attachments with wachleuten /locks-unfortunately! With Dolmuş/taxi one gets ahead well-relatively short road to Antalya and Kemer. Guest relations was very accommodating and helpful - special thanks to mrs Ahu Filiz! In general the staff were you very helpful and friendly - the service really good! Inside and out very well maintained and tastefully built/decorated-high comfort factor! In december around christmas/new year around great festivals/events with local musikstars large stage. Entertainment was not really to see - the entertainment for kids expressly excluded - the guests organised their own fußballtreffs etc. - a shame! Huge rooms with flat-screen monitors and a computergestützen infosystem -very thoughtful. Safe inclusive! Little things like real esspessobohnencaffe from good equipment, cocktails, quick service we enjoyed. Over christmas/new year little german / lots of russian guests - was not a problem for us - for the other. read more

We were from 09,12 until 30-12-2012 in the Rixos Sun Gate.
So far, we were 2 times in side Aydinbey Kings Palace and every time very satisfied.
Since we like to hike, we this time for beldibi to Kemer decided.
You have from the hotel only 4-6 kilometer in the küstenberge, where there is a national park there. Also on the lycian karawanenpfad you can hiking.
At alis garden café again and garlic bread and fresh grnadinesaft enjoy!
Under his direction, the ' trails' reasonably alright and also marked.
But please not expect too much! He is but very ... hard for everyone.
A trip to Kemer or Antalya is absolutely recommendable, if you don't there was. With the Dolmuş for a one to two Euro easy to reach.
The Rixos Sun Gate is a huge hotel area (really huge!).
During our stay but it was only a small part, and the entertainment accordingly reduced. It was only the pino-main restaurant is open. Just after christmas came more and more restaurants are opened. The food has with time, repeatedly, but the selection was so huge, that you always found something delicious there.
The hotel and also the whole environment are mostly on russian guests set.
Russian was from the staff spoken, german as well as not. A bit of english should already accomplished will!
From time to time come for 2-3 days huge tour groups (for example from tupperware ). They can then already times louder, especially at night, which already robbed of sleep can!
We have after the first a couple of days a abgelegeneres room and got it. It was not quite as nice as the first, but it was quiet.
The weihnachtsgala the hotel has really what, there one could not complain.
A restaurant and a action-show were zellebriert.
Finally we can say the hotel makes no bad impression, however it is definitely for our taste but too big and therefore also impersonal.
It was worth a try, but not 2. time.
Who in the low season good will, can relatively cheap a few sunny days are hiking, wellness, food, etc. read more
