Resort has our expectations more than satisfied. Very great oriental architecture. The lawns are very well maintained. Pool area was huge. The rooms are big enough and for egyptian standards, very clean. The rooms all signs of usage for the age of the hotel but is quite normal. Furniture was up to the spoiled closet doors immaculate. In all-inclusive is unfortunately not everything for everyone. Certain food and drinks are excluded. This is however in the beverages and menus noted. Hummer, beef filet and imported alcoholic beverages have to for example be paid separately. The all inclusive selection is however ... so big, that one nothing from the bezahlartikeln to use. The hotel guests were almost mostly from Germany and Austria. Average age was around 35 to 40 years. read more

    Size was sufficient. The room consisted of hallway, bathroom, bedroom, living room and terrace. Amenities included a tv (about 5 german channels), minibar, telephone and a room safety deposit box. The furniture was up to the spoiled closet doors immaculate. As already mentioned the rooms are slightly worn (age-related). I think that is quite normal and did not bother us. The air conditioning was not really cold. We didn't use them but i wanted to still test.

    The selection of restaurants is very good! There are many buffet-style restaurant and more theme restaurants such as thai, indian and italian. So you would every day someplace else eat. Some wrote here the food is monotonous and everything tastes the same. I couldn't understand. The staff is always cleanliness made an effort. Plates were cleared away very quickly. The atmosphere was in every restaurant perfect. We especially enjoyed lunch the 'blend' and the evening 'Discovery'. Thai and italian restaurant were also super. Tip can be given, but not.

    Staff was predominantly friendly and polite. The waiters are very hard (even without giving any tip). We only for dinner a few tips. Stayed in the reviews already read that the people trinkgeldbettler are. Is only at the airport. In the hotel you will not be hassled. On a few coins are but nevertheless all.     Nearby reef for snorkeling very good. A huge jetty brings a directly at the rifkante and you can immediately lostauchen.     The hotel is approximately 30 minutes away from the airport. You will be treated to the bus from the airport and right to the hotel went. Transfer has generally worked very well. We booked the hotel to 4. and last time. The outdoor area is still a dream, the rooms worn still acceptable, but clean. About 40% utilization you should actually particularly around the few guests those still to Egypt travel and not weaken. The buffet was still good, but daily almost the same, but if you with that before 3 or 4 years compares is bitterly disappointed. The first 3 days there was in the strandwcs no toilet paper, complaints at the front desk showed no reaction. Only a threat of massenprotestes and a coordinated reisekostenrückforderung the eti guide brought a ... change, for once it worked. Really tried hard in the hotel only the lowest ranks in the service, no matter wether waiters, room service or at the beach. And the without intrusive tip to demand.     The number of restaurants was with this utilization oversized. Earlier you had to days before reserve, this time was the staff at the beach on werbetour for the restaurants reasonably full capacity. Quality of the food outside of the all-inclusive offer was very good and cheap. All-inclusive buffets but monotonous, every day to 90% right, but plentiful and consistently appealing up to the dessert buffet, fruit oranges, grapefruit, lemons and 2 days melons, cakes/tarts differed essentially through the oberflächenfarbe. No arab dessert, before 3 or 4 years ago there was still daily several, several of them. The commitment of the kitchen staff made this deficit but sometimes more than made up for it.

There was only one complaint (on 3 days no toilet paper in the strandwc ) were only under threat of the consequences noted.     The pools were not heated and therefore not usable, in one week we only saw 2 children and a lady in the pools. The heated pool in the neighboring hotel but could be used, but we had the palace and no quilt holiday.     The hotel is located in a beautiful bay with a wonderful reef. On a trip with a tauchschiff we saw on the reef in open sea less fish as on your doorstep. Shopping in the hotel available, offer and rates in Hurghada or also in other shops the bay better and considerably cheaper.

    Awful! Bathroom: mold, rust, other bluish linings, plaster was already from the wall. Junior suite/room : big enough but totally run down. Doors were not closing, doors chipped and puffy, desk had unidentifiable stains. The first us offered rooms have we declined. The 2. was not much better, but there are according to the front desk all sunday Our travel agent could also nothing better offer. Only a removal in Makadi spad to a extra charge of 260 Euro for fourteen days we were offered. However as mentioned, with the guide we had anyway many problems.

    Many theme restaurants, the however not so are very good. Otherwise were the restaurants (dome and blend ) very clean and tidy. The waiters are very pleasant. Best thanks to several at alaa seemir from the dome restaurant. The food was very good, versatile, varied. Daily on-site controls the hygiene. The really impressed us.

    All of the staff in this hotel were very friendly and accommodating. The deutschsprachenkenntnisse were excellent. We only had a problem with our travel guide, the simply do not know, what his job is and how customers use it. Even with a conversation with the chefreiseleiter this impression confirms. It is to be noticed clearly, that the cook his handicraft understands. By the ease of food we could us daily at the 4-course menu, please.

On the beach promenade are several small houses in which various article are offered. There is also in the hotel area a small 'shopping mall' with various shops and restaurants the partially to the all-inclusive offer includes. The doors were warped and terminals, the bathroom has aging and you would need to start the rooms to renovate, as 5 stars standard the rooms not anymore.     As already described above. Our room had air conditioning, minibar, a small tv with 5 german channels, a balcony. The room was from Ali very clean kept. The bed is very comfortable, but the rest of the furniture was very worn.

    There are three main restaurants, with a you have to reserve. Dome and blend without reservation. In the dome there is the biggest offer and the food tasted us very good. The melange offers international cuisine with live cooking, this food was very good. Discovery was mediterranean show buffet partly with extra charge, this food was very good, but the cooks behind the counter seemed a little overwhelmed and it took a long time to one its meal got. Now there were still some reservierungsrestaurants whereas you in all these restaurants a few dishes free got and with some courts you pay extra had. Highly recommend is the thai garden, the team is very friendly, attentive and the food great. The caribbean was very good. A bit disappointed we were from tarboush (lebanese) as was the local flavor. The sunset grill was delicious burger with fries and the rendezvous was from 12.00-17.00 hours smaller dishes, coffee, ice cream, waffles and until 18,00 o'clock drinks. If you are a good served is like a tip, no matter wether you are at home or on vacation is. We always get Dollar- bills get the boys on the bank changed. With euros is always the problem, that this again in notes have to be exchanged, before you the employees on the bank can exchange. Not at all i can understand if tourists, 10 or 20 cents tip, i would be ashamed!

    The hotel's location is good. The beach is only a few minutes away. To the airport it is about 35 minutes drive. On the complex there are also a few shops, but for shopping one drives at the best to Hurghada. A free shuttle bus is 2 times per day from the hotel made available and goes to grand mall, or down-town, after a few hours we were then picked up again. The transfer took about 25 minutes. On the complex there are several restaurants, partly you can just go and eat, partly you have to at the latest at noon for dinner.

I now have the 2 time in holiday in this wonderful hotel and was every time enthusiastic. Even my mother (90) was very this area. The rooms are beautiful-living room and bedroom and nice balcony. Also the food was very good everywhere, whether melange or the restaurants where you need to reserve,(particularly the steaks in the botanical are very recommendable). Beach through the dead corals very bad to walk and to swim is the new jetty at the Grand Makadi ideal (also for snorkelling). Staff on the whole hotel very pleasant, polite and helpful. Zimmerboy antar we had in ... the spring and was both holidays very efficient and helpful. Thanks again! I am definitely coming again as soon as i can, only my mother am sorry that her age not more. Again thank you very much at all. Particularly the service of the eit team i think great. read more

We were very satisfied and could with clear conscience recommend this hotel. The waiters (rooms, restaurants and at the beach) is more like friendly and accommodating. At the nearby reef we eagle rays, turtle and more highlights photographed. Our room has gotten old and should be content with low cost renovated, we have daily cleaned really well found. read more

Junior suite in the shower unpleasant, after change in suite very good. Food by logistic problems from very bad to very good, especially in the buffet restaurants. Hotel tried to improvements. Go gladly anytime again %blank%. read more

The staff especially by the pool has a 1 with *. Very friendly and helpful and the most important things to understand and talk in germans. h. The pool is not heated, currently around 17 to 19 degrees, once you is included and you move, it is. But hey. Who can claim, that in the hotel you the pool for yourself ☺ Important! The drinks in the lobby be ordered, to be payed for and also the mini bar isn't included. The wifi was partly really a chatastrophe. If you really need is before with its carrier explain what a ... auslandsflat costs, as you sometimes 15 minutes to update the messages have to wait. Animation is at this time of the year very little, which did not disturb us personally. There was a board where was advertised, which when where and in the evening there was a small show in a joker club. The rooms are clean and tidy, off course the hotel is somewhat outdated now, but nevertheless one tries the rooms intact and if one is honest, how much time do you spend on vacation in the room. The food is absolutely okay, always something for every taste. Pasta or fish are always freshly prepared and in the 'blend', grilled every evening. The different theme restaurants, both on the grounds, as well as directly in front of the hotel we did not try out. The beach is about minutes (walk through the hotel complex) to reach. Unfortunately no possibility directly in front of the hotel just into the water to go and loszuschwimmen. Very rocky/stony and at least 300 metres the water is knee-high. Bathing shoes are very recommendable and one has to be very careful. Leftmost at the beach (beach section Hotel Grand macadi ) is a jetty, at the end of which, you go which can, swimming and snorkeling (reef) can. You go from the hotel right at the beach along comes one to the hotel macadi spa from the beach bar could use (inclusive). We were middle of february in this hotel. We were pleased with the hotel. It was okay, but no 5 * as many believe! So the complex itself is very nice, but as soon as you the rooms inside schuat there are only 3 *, all not more than! The beach was also okay, the loungers have now shot! But for the sun gas was it! Most of the workers were friendly, but many also annoying. But the, the really on the bag were the luggages institution on arrival and on departure! Wanted our tip. The stood, take you and ... asked three times, whether everything ok and streckten the hand! We also have enough tip few employees given, but only those never their job correctly and with a smile on their face and not uma the money okay!     The distance to the beach was 5 minutes... Ok, restaurants there was enough, only the food was not really geschmackhaft... Definitely no 5 *! The activities were nothing special... In the evening it was rather boring there was not really what you could do... To the entertainment around 21:00 were only 5-10 piece of retirees on the böhne on 'dancing' and otherwise you couldn't really go...

We were as a family a week, we were disappointed the food and the table service was very bad. With five stars has nothing to do. New year's eve was a real rip off everything you had to pay and the waiter service came not at all by, no candle lit and the wine after repeated reminder made it to. After this evening i had the only of the vacation diarrhea. I asked, whether i tea to the room get, if i it pays. This is a great service. In the lobby mäßen you pay, not. Although the bar was ... always empty was very that is probably the reason for it. The coffee inedible the tea tastes like putzwasser, we do not go any longer to this hotel unless you change the chef. The staff are very on tips only then will they friendly, is the meaning of a 5 stars hotel. read more

A week all inclusive over eti booked. From the airport pick-up at the airport to the check in, edit wishes, friendliness and willingness to help of the staff in the whole complex, left nothing to be desired. Particularly the waiter at the beach, as well as the waiters in the pool ( Ali salamah district) are particularly worthy of mention. The food selection was more than adequate and everything was well prepared. The nearby riff offers a good possibility for snorkelling and marvel at the underwater world. All in all a wonderful vacation. The Makadi Palace sees us certainly soon. read more

Our 4. stay was again a wonderful experience. Impressive is the whole concept the hotel - 1001 Nacht relaxation. As we were all the various restaurants of the Makadi Palace and the neighboor Grand Makadi use and done have, even for a 3-week stay no replicates in the food area given. As i had already in november after a Nile-cruise with the Makadi Palace acquaintance close and from this hotelananlage was very impressed, decided my daughter and i, a week's swimming vacation to repeat. Even this time we were of this enchanting facilities, including the pool areas (even if the Makadi Palace unfortunately not are heated) totally thrilled. The staff's hospitality (the not! Vomtrinkgeld subject was ), the cleanliness in the whole complex and in the rooms (even if this getting quite old are ), as well as the good and varied food in individual restaurants made this a week for ... us the experience. Since we also still luck with the weather had, we could the opportunity for snorkelling use. The nearby reef offered to best possibilities. It would indeed be appropriate, chairs and covers at the beach to renew, also the rooms to renovate, but nevertheless minderten these shortcomings our vacation not. We want to the complete staff (waiter, room boys, gardener and so on) for this relaxing weekend and to ensure, that we come back! read more
