The Mövenpick Hotel is a paradise for all people who are seeking for silence, repose and recreation.
The stuff is very friendly, attentive and obliging. The comfortable and clean rooms are nestled in beautiful gardens with many flowers and much green. The restaurants offer a great choice of food in best quality, that is always arranged in a delightful way. We could not do otherwise but eating too much every day-) But Mövenpick offers many excellent sports facilities. We enjoyed every day the morning gym and the aqua gym with Lifeguard Yasser, who is very dedicated and he knows ... to enthuse the guest in a funny way. Also the quad trips with Yasser were a great adventure for us. We had much fun and we got an impressive view into the beauty of the desert.
Another highlight of the Mövenpick Hotel is the gorgeous housereef that is nearly pristinely. Snorkeling and diving there is a unique experience.
We will surely return to Mövenpick in El Quseir because it combines for us recreation, culinary delight, activity and a wonderful underwaterworld. read more

The resort after our knowledge a maximum of 500 guests on. During our stay it was about 200. the whole complex is sections of very spacious and very well-kept, even a full allocation should not lead to bottlenecks. We were surprised, after we already Makadi met, as friendly, attentive and unobtrusive you in Egypt can be treated. The guests came almost exclusively from the Switzerland and Germany, the Wodka-group was missing it quite. Who dauerdisco and constantly anbandelnde animators searches is not served, there is always very quiet. Nevertheless, activities not too short, the offer is plentiful. Especially like the ... carefulness with the hotel, even the reef roof is still busy. It continues to go with many pleasant details such as enough chairs and umbrellas at the beach (which all intact), landscaped pool area, pretty gardens and so on. Very convenient for relaxation the local daily stress. Of course, there are always things to complain about, it is apparently always rather small things. We saw the high average rating of the trip with great interest and are now of the opinion, that they fully justified is. We will definitely come back again. read more

Oh a, why are you doing this? Great location, great staff, food with delight and except for the ( runtergerockte ) lobby bar a place to completely relax and feel at ease. Then one comes in the evening and just want to to bed, feut itself, if the previous positive reviews here and is in a 'standard', the by far more than 3 since opening non-renovated star than 4.5 tooth. In short room 1424 is an isolence. The boy leaves the luggage also right outside and offers an alternative. Clear and see as a standard room renovated is another ... hotel, but as property internally and other category judged as upgrade apply (+30,-€ a night). We have nevertheless taken. The vacation was really top in the old room, i would not want to stay.
Why the here when booking or on the side not mentioned is beyond me and thus really questionable!
Conclusion: expect from the start with 30, -/ night more and you can count on the vacation it. read more

Many rooms should be rennovated.
A very spacious, nice in the nubian style built property with a clean beach. Friendly service and good buffet. Unfortunately, of the 13 living quarters only 2 renovated and the remaining are more than needs improvement. So if you want a 4 star room, this should be by its organizers guarantee leave. read more

The rooms were very clean and were every day on the new neat. We had an ' old school room', but the new seen. Very chic and nevertheless functional. The bathroom is exceptionally beautiful.
At the start we were worried because of the egyptian quality of the water and to our great satisfaction, that you have an own wasserfilterungsanlage has. Furthermore all foods with ' tranquil water' edit.
The private beach great well maintained and you will be 'in' also supplied.

In january 2013 we were with our babies, 8 months old in the hotel and stayed at the all in all satisfied with the hotel. The area is very nicely located, with a view of the sea amongst others of the pool some apartments and a restaurant from. It is difficult however with buggy or wheelchair by the complex to walk, because everywhere times a few steps are -to the beach even very many. The beach is beautiful, however it was a little disturbing, that directly behind a rather loud busy street runs. Furthermore one can only at a short ... body to swim, as the rest for tourists is locked. Diving, but also in this section a dream! The staff are very friendly, specially to the children, expected but also often tip for this. One of the restaurants was due to alleged construction not open, which we a great shame found. It is reasonable value for money lunch unfortunately not at all, if you got hungry at lunch is charged a lot of money for mediocre food in the hotel. The beautiful view compensated it a bit. Far and wide there is as well unfortunately no other possibility food, as far as we know. Also water must bai half board off course extra be paid, i found in circa 2,30 Euro per bottle now also not few. Our bungalow was nice, but much smaller than the impression the pictures-perfect for 2 people. A larger we could only from 100 €more per day book-a bit outrageous, but despite conversation with the tour operator not have been possible. From the side the front desk was always hard -everybody was friendly. The shop opposite hatet hardly open. Nevertheless a succesful vacation, because of the nice hotel and the direct the entrance to the sea! read more

Our 3. vacation in Mövenpick El Quseir. And good reason:
Who 50 weeks 10-12 hours daily under electricity and in the remaining 2 weeks maximum relaxation searches, is in the right place here! Our typical the course of the day:
In the morning starting from 6:30 a. m. a superb breakfast buffet, amongst others with freshly squeezed orange juice and 'front-cooking' omelet with fresh mushrooms (of course, there is also other ingredients, Sunny side ups, or 3-and 5-minutes eggs), croissants and really good coffee, without chlortaste. In addition a small 'daily newspaper' with the most important events of the ... day before.
At 8 o'clock to the beach (no chair -towel-blocking up to an awkward grufti -couple from eastern bavaria). And an hour snorkeling. Without a light neoprene suit (2.5 millimeter enough)'s in january with 21-22 °c to 20 minutes a little chilly-too cold, in to the most beautiful places of the hotel reef, penetrate.
From 9 o'clock the sun is in the january warm enough, -only with bathing suits/bikinis clothed-lounging at the sandy beach (real sand, not with the trucks were present in numbers) to relax or read. The butler service spoiled in the heat (21-25 degrees in the shade) with pellegrino (0.75 liter 8 Euro) or heineken for (0.3 liters 4 Euro). If you the butler service are honored (4 $/ day), he the beverages even in ice bucket. For the all inclusive-bucher (gottlob in the minority) there is flat water from 1.5 liter -plastic bottles and local beer. If desired, it also brings crayfish or a juicy steak. You can lunch but also at the table sitting in the divers's club or in the pool-restaurant order.
At 16 o'clock back to the room, a few warmer things dress, then rockbar, on a rock right next to the sea reading or meditating the sunset to enjoy. Alternatively to the hot tub, for massage or to the hairdresser (very recommendable!), the lady on the facial.
From 6:30 p. m. to themed buffet (asia/sushi, egyptian, mediterranean, international, Swiss, carribean.) Or, against an extra charge, the seagulls, also à (u. a. us beef!). Fom the themed buffet also-and the numerous salads recommendable. Since we were already once in hotel lahami bay were, we know, as ancient pharaoh's revenge appears and how long after vacation still stopping. Here in the Mövenpick we did not even have the trace a stomach, and the, although we in large quantities salads with high rohkostanteil ate. Comparable geschmacksintensive tomatoes you will find with us only in the summer and also only in selected shops or in their own garden. Weight reduction, during the Mövenpick-stay is-especially because of the dessert-buffet - not possible.
Representatives of the ' we are in the t-shirt and swimming shorts for dinner ' group the restaurant manager under instruction on the observed etiquette effective cautioned. This is obviously a long-standing and successful maintained tradition. Because the audience is altogether very pleasant and there is a fine, but not at all stiff ambience. There is no bawling russians, no drunk-rampaging english, no tätowierten bald pates, no Sachsen with socks in the sandals, no ' left arm under, right elbow on the table screwed '-eater. The guests %blank% too many from the Switzerland and from Germany. The age was mixed newly married, parents with children in the preschool, a few retirees (singles) and the focus educational - couple, as we between 40 and 65, the for generally 14 days the berufsalltag escape want.
Very recommendable to eat: Aida rose sparkling sparkling wine (0,75 liter 42 Euro). For all inclusive-tourist there is silence white and red wines, we guests at home not really were to offer. There is also european, south african, north and south american wines, the in the price easily the beat, which on the Maldives it is required. As already prior to implied we recommend half board instead of all inclusive but we at the end of the 14-day vacation circa 1200 Euro will be charged. This is not much more than the all inclusive-extra charge. And we have every day the freedom enjoyed, to consume, what we wanted, and not, what in the all inclusive offer is included.
Apropos Maldives. We were 10 years 2 times on mirihi. Also here you can the privacy of separate bungalow-lnput enjoy. Also here a superb food, perhaps even a bit better. And the sea is significantly warmer. Following an exorbitant prices you pay for today meanwhile circa 20000 Euro half board/couple. And it the beverages not included: 0.5 liter beer for 14 $. The money printing, but want to as little do. And there is the Mövenpick El Quseir the ideal compromise.
Throughout the stay there was only one only downside, and it is not the responsibility of the mövenpicks: we had a one-day trip to Luxor booked. Worth seeing. But the 'tour operator' (Ahmed, responsible amongst others for tc, oger, Neckermann and bucher) had not informed, that one cash in considerable scope to carry. (retrospective view, would at least 50 Euro per person have been necessary. Still it would have been better, the journey would have 150 Euro instead of 100 Euro per person cost.) People as we, and as we are in the Mövenpick-resort does not exception, the vacation only with the Mastercard and about 200 a -Dollar-appear tip sprint, must be drinks manage, the does-to-amun-grave not visit (25 Euro/person), the Nile-boat trip (5 Euro/person) attend, etc. All these things are only bar affordable. The Mastercard will not be accepted. Annoying, that the 'tour operator' wrote, the hotel with dinner until 22 o'clock wait for us. Really brought us the bus first at 23 o'clock back. The dinner buffet had closed down, and we had to the costs of the night dinner (circa 50 Euro/person) carry. During the karnak-and Valley of Kings-leadership we had a guide with hochgehaltenem Neckermann-sign consequences. For Sachsen with socks in the sandals and the Hurghada-prekariat with tattoos on the bald african-american man was the not a problem. For us tc tourists it was megapeinlich, behind a Neckermann-sign forth to have, together with cads, the locals the tips before your feet in the sand and enjoy, if they afterwards stoop must! Against was the 4-hour directions bearable, although the presence of about 30 Poland in the bus, which egyptian culture early morning hours in polish language was declared, already somewhat our nerves zehrte. Our complaints and recommendations, as you better make could, from the 'tour operator' in the hotel disinterested, bored, without notes to make, and devoid of 'thanks'-words accompanied, received. read more
