We were to second time as a family in a bungalow the hotel and we felt very comfortable. Directly at the beach located complex with a beautiful garden and pool. The staff are very friendly, the President of the hotel has the nicknames Pumpoi, the term was Thai and means friendly meant Dickerchen, it is. It is Thai, English and speak German and every question or problem will be addressed and taken care of, no matter what. We could with our scooters directly in front of our bungalow where the dog of the gardener, Satah, always waiting for us and ... huge pleased. Air conditioning tv Fan fridge double bed, every day fresh towels and cleaned room, everything super. The place Lamai is 15 minutes away on foot from the beach or with the scooter in five minutes, there is evenings something going on and it was very entertaining. So, if you on KOH Samui wants a vacation and a solid, friendly property wanted, is right at home here. We had scooter borrowed and the whole island explored on foot. Great.

Arrived at Lamai Chalet with a 3 day booking which has since turned into a long turn stay. So far we have changed our booking to 5 weeks with the option to extend. We were welcomed by the staff and shown our accommodation which was clean and homely. The Owner, Pumpey, and his wife, Kob, run an efficient operation and are very quick to accommodate any requests - from sight seeing to a fish barbeque on the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food is really good and the menu includes both foreign and Thai foods. You have ... the beach and a pool within walking distance of all the accommodation. It is a great place for both families and those travelling alone to enjoy a restful vacation. Just a short drive away one can go to the Beach Road Market which has a selection of eateries, pubs and stalls. They have made sure we feel like we are part of an extended family. read more

Lovely, spacious, well-kept facility with bungalows for every budget right next to the sea. Even the cheapest bungalow offers enough space for 2 people. Courteous friendly, but not pushy staff. Every other day cleaning the bungalows with kind Shaping towels times as elephant, time as a swan... The in the restaurant food served tasted us excellently. God willing, we will next year again-same place, same time and hopefully same people! read more
