King suite - kitchenette, big fridge, huge bathroom, very nicely furnished, only partly a bit shabby... Room service quick and very good, cleaning of the rooms very good, rather bad. Top restaurant in the hotel. Perfect location directly at the skytrain station, supermarkets just round the corner, siam center/terminal 21 ever 2 minutes by skytrain; bars and massage around the corner read more

The hotel and the staff is absolute great. If you stay here something to moan about has, must be to blame. The hotel lies absolutely central. In 2 minutes you are in the crush this metropolis and at the station Nana. You notice in the lateral road, in the hotel lies, nothing at all. It is situated in a very peaceful location. Shopping, eat out, excursions: everything is possible without a problem. read more

4 years ago was the great hotel on the sukhumvit... But now you see the phenomena of wear quite clearly. A shame actually, as the location respectively traffic connections really ideal is... If you go, you need no more than 20 minutes to suvarnabhumi airport. The suites were really nicely decorated, both in size/Layout, as well as decor. The latter should be more maintained... read more

We were now already for the third time at this hotel and were completely satisfied. each time we were automatically in the next high room Category upgraded (and a stay of 1-2 nights only). The rooms are huge, super clean and if you're lucky, that you are in one of the upper floor is, the breathtaking view of Bangkok. the pool area would invite to linger. But when our stays in the sun or it seems never to the pool for the high-rise around. We do not know! But Bangkok is also rather to shop and not to splash around. ... the skytrain (Nana station) is five minutes away and the famous Siam center with about ten minutes to the skytrain. Taxis are so or as sand on the sea. read more

The hotel is very, very nice and the rooms are huge. If you have a room should you book a suite as they were only a few euros more expensive. The suites are very large and had everything which the heart desired. The hotel is very bad, no shopping possibilities, almost only sex tourism. Staff tried by hook or by crook to fleece the tourist. Taxi, room, cost of breakfast etc. if you just want a-two days left is calling the hotel very nice. read more

The hotel was found in good condition, its location for visitors, the first time in Bangkok are ideal. The pool is great and the fourth floor breakfast wide. Taste (Nana) right nearby (day ticket buy) as you can have an overview of large parts of the city. Tuk Tuk-a must and experience (from the hotel to the night bazaar and Terminus royal palace stadium). Right outside the door of the hotel begins the shopping and entertainment district of (the Arab quarter is worth to experience). Food and drinks are very cheap. A river/Klongfahrt should not be missed and also to ... Chinatown. You can explore the city without fear or stress on your own. The Thais were friendly and helpful. Speak/understand English is a big plus. read more

Super city hotel under new management archived

The new management from Accor leads the style of Sofitel fort. The general condition of Hotel grand sukhumvit Hotel Bangkok now with the addition of the term 'managed by Accor'. five nights in this hotel, as already at the last time, great. The free upgrade due to the length of our stay worked without any problems, without once again point. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and immediately reacted to complaints. Our room Category Diamond left nothing to be desired. The room consisted of a large living room with sofa, dining table and a small kitchen (full-size fridge included), a ... bathroom with shower and bathtub in size and a large bedroom with a nice view over Bangkok. There was a safe, minibar, enough closets, two flat-screen televisions, and so on, what more could you ask for. The room cleaning worked without any problems and there was nothing to complain about. Only the furniture had some signs of usage. Here the hotel should improve once, or new. The breakfast was, as already perfect at the last time. It was just as good as everything and if you stay here find nothing, is nothing else. In the evening we ate out. There are enough possibilities. The restaurant and the grill on the side of the road. One can eat simply everywhere and it also tasted great. Because the Hotel is very Central, one can undertake very much. Nearby supplies the skytrain, which you can easily be reached on foot, you have the opportunity to explore the city. Otherwise you can stop a taxi, should insist on the taxi meter, because otherwise you will mercilessly ripped off. Day trips to the surrounding area of Bangkok you can undertake also, should the act with the taxi drivers not. If you want to play it safe, you should rather stay in the hotel or at the tour operator book, but is more expensive. The but everyone must decide for themselves. The pool is located between the two buildings and a pool bar. Beach chairs and towels were enough and available free of charge. These are now also in good condition (complained at the last time of US). We would recommend this hotel very gladly, as the default on the same level as at our last visit, we feel very welcome. Also the hotel had the stars absolutely deserved. read more

The hotel is located in the bustling business district and is fun and lively sukhumvit for a three-day city trip as we have made very recommendable. Taxi from the Airport takes about 45 minutes (on express highway) and costs including 350 Baht highway charges (on taximeter point). The hotel is located two minutes walk from the nearest skytrain (Nana) away). You will find countless restaurants in the area. Shopping center (MBK, Siam center, Siam Parangon) in to in five minutes reachable. Day ticket costs 150 Baht per person skytrain. A taxi costs 50 Baht to shopping center but due to ... the congested roads (especially from 16:00 o'clock) take a very long time. Skytrain therefore to recommend (much more expensive but much faster). The best way to get to the river go sightseeing with skytrain or taxi and then with long tail boat everything we wanted. Drive on long tail cost per person 30 Baht. How to reach Lying Buddha, king palace or temple Wat Arun (for me the most beautiful spot) relatively comfortable. Rooms at the hotel (we were in 30. Floor) were very large with two huge flat screen tv's). Bathroom with bathtub and shower and daily two bottles of water including. Everything was very clean and a great view over the city. Pool area is not very large but beautifully laid out (in the fifth floor) and a small dip after shopping or sightseeing perfectly adequate. Breakfast we didn't used. Shopping center provide sufficient possibilities. As I-Dot for a Bangkok trip I would recommend the Loy Nava dinner cruise. Takes about two-and-a-half hours and one drives down the river and up and see all the sights on the river. You also get an excellent dinner. Thai & sea food. Is found to be a bit more expensive (30 €per person including dinner and transportation from the hotel back and excluding drinks) but it was worth it to 100%. read more

We chose this hotel for our last night in Bangkok, because it's central located and we only fast 'power shop' wanted, before it early the next day went back to D; in other words, we were only there for sleeping. The hotel is situated in the heart of the entertainment district and is of a kind of 'backyard' to reach, which was a bit hard to get used to. The rooms are with laminate floors, big enough, however, our view was to the backyard was not the best, but was quiet therefor, but perfectly adequate for a night. We have ... used in the hotel nothing, however, should pay out at the ' films 'some; in our veto we were presented the bill, but a five days old; on our objection, that we didn't realize at the time there were former, have been engaged the withdrawal. We had spent our first few days in Millennium Hilton and in direct comparison has cut off the grand sukhumvit by Sofitel much worse. You can stay-but there are much nicer hotels for the same price. read more

The rooms in the silver category are very nice and big. Last I inhabited the platinum class, and it is suites to the room price. A really nice large living room, pantry with a sitting area separate bedroom with first class bed, two flat screen tv, DVD, the bathroom is also in separate shower and tub. I am well travelled, we have never had such a great room. The whole hotel including the staff is extremely professional. The location is very central to the Nana skytrain station, the area around Hotel Nana was very colorful and a quisi ethnic quarters. read more
