Rustic accommodation with a cosy restaurant. The most rooms are standard. Some few rooms in the side building were chic in country style renovated. We stayed in a standard room. The hotel consists of three buildings. Since the entrance to our house icy, we could only by the underground car park from the main building to the neighboring house get. Everything was clean. The room was standard with everything, which one needs, equipped. If you want a special setting, the more expensive rooms in the country house style book. Booking a precise room is only from the homepage of the hotel possible, but not on the of us elected tour operator TUI. In future we will directly at the hotel book.

Who booked half board has, for the 4-course dinner between four main courses (meat, fish, vegetarian, versperplatte ) select. We stayed with our choice luck, particularly the fish dishes were very good. For dinner there is a salad bar and soup and dessert. The main mealtimes one felt you had to wait a bit longer, which did not disturb us however. The food was for us the biggest plus at this hotel!

The reception was friendly, also the service in the restaurant. Since the main restaurant was rather small, we sat at a table in the side room. On our please we were however in the next days in the main restaurant shifted. Particularly beautiful was, that even on our nachtischwünsche (ice) was received. There was no reason to complaints.

The spa is especially from several small saunas, is however for the number of guests of the hotel too small dimensioned. There is considerable pent-up demand, both with the equipment and size, as well as in the opening times.

The hotel is in Tiefenbach, a suburb of Oberstdorf. Because the connection is very bad, is, with the car. Parking spaces in front the hotel and along the street free of charge available. In Oberstdorf costs the day pass in the whole town all inclusive 6 Euro (what too expensive is!). Who evening entertainment outside of the hotel finds, is in Tiefenbach didn't find anything. But it is beautifully calm. To the ski lifts at the foghorn or Söllereck one drives approximately 15 minutes by car. A hotel shuttle there is in our knowledge not.
