Value for money is good not, room equipped very old, boss very rude, is not prepared glasses available, for the price no pool available, website agrees with the reality of the situation does not match, are every year in Velden and Velden is not known for good value for money, but this was the total disappointment... The hotel is on the homepage as' old fashioned ' described. If you even there was, you know, that this concept of a euphemism, because, in reality, would be the relevant word 'outdated'. Bad price-performance! read more

    very angry especially on the boss: after I an offer on booking. Com seen -85 €for a double room - I wanted for my friend and me immediately strike, however was probably someone else faster than I ( the offer was away). Then in the hotel carinthia called, whether it this room for 85 €there and the boss a clear ' yes' get, as well as on the question, whether the then still the same price is, as the offer is suddenly from the internet vanished (was just sure). When I got to on the day of departure at the front desk stood around pay, made it twice the amount. Surprised I meant to boss :, that is true but it is not, you said the room costs 85 €! '. This was unfortunately very snappy and told me, that would be yet the prices per person, nothing other have on telephone and you would know, what your guests explains. No chance, I was stupid laid out and the boss persisted strongly on your opinion, I had nothing in the hand, because I the reservation by phone, so I had to double the price pay.

Great hotel with great location direct in the center of Velden! We had a suite with enchanting views over the beautiful Wöhrtersee. The carpenters were very clean and spacious. Our son was totally from its four-poster bed,. Breakfast was also very tasty! read more

The hotel lies in the middle of Velden, direct at the entrance the beach promenade. Breakfast buffet included delicious! We didn't miss anything. Guests mixed. Hotel is clean and the rooms respectively apartments are very spacious and very nostalgic furnished... Very comfortable, we felt very good. Parking spaces free of charge for guests, right on the hotel. read more

    Direct in Velden, it can evening also times a little noisy, if the windows are open. Hotel has no own beach section, but the lido is only around 5 minutes away on foot. ( very recommendable) entry circa 4,00 Euro, sun screens and chairs are also available. Indicated touristenpass 1 day/person freely.

We were participants with the Karawankenklassik, the hotel is from the year 1926, so a 'vintage', exactly so nice 'renovated' as our car. Should be emphasized the hotel staff, really really friendly and competent. read more

Staff friendly and tried hard-but lack of the house did not make up for - The house is very old, the doors are rickety and 2a 3 centimeters high columns to soil, Holzwürm in the furniture and ancient bad mattresses. The view is great, but it is very much business the whole night very noisy - drunk bellow and cry, almost continuously noise strong cars and motorcycles. The most important point: way too expensive for those circumstances! Only the view is great. read more

The hotel is old and abwohnt, in the fridge was mold. The Imperial breakfast was more than poor, since on one day yet not even enough eggs for us 3 persons was there. The fruit salad, the brioche, the sausage cheese and butter were every day back on the buffet provided, although everything was already worn and not more was fresh. The beds squeaking and the furnishing is worn. The spa facilities we have not visited. This hotel never again! Especially in this excessive price! read more

    the staff were extremely friendly. We were on the first evening the only guests in the hotel. You asked us, when we want to have breakfast, we could give any date. Also the wellness area ( sauna, Steam bath etc. should you extra we checked). One was at the planning we visited on the next day helping and had recommendations given, what we should see.

If you want something for Nostalgia leftover then that is exactly the right hotel. The size of the suite is East great but the bathroom could a bit more modern equipped his. The exterior would definitely a fresh Needed a paint. for a short break nevertheless a ideal hotel. read more

The hotel is inside partly quite nice but the room was old and quite worn. The toilet was the toilet paper holder broken (the paper stood on the trash bin), in the bathroom leaked constantly the tap, a towel was not clean. In the room there was a microwave oven the inside is totally fatty and was dirty. - we wondered how this hotel to 4 stars come. The ' kaiserfrühstück' is supposedly until 11 o'clock, but around 9.30 was already everything away and was also not refilled. If you wanted something you had to it order. The fruit ... salad came from the can. - really imperial. So value for money is okay ind this hotel surely not! read more
