A very recommendable hotel. Staff and cleaning very friendly and competent. Complaints/ suggestions/ wishes are immediately dealt with. In the hotel is an Irish pub. Very pleasant. Very centrally located. 5 minutes from the subway away, bus stop in front of the hotel.
5 minutes to restaurants, bars, shops, pharmacy, and so on.
Rooms are very quiet. In the hotel is peace capitalized. When checking in you sign even, that one during the stay no parties in the room host must.
Fitness room is modern and small.
Internet is Wiki and 2 computers in the lobby FREE!
All together a ... wonderful hotel, with a very nice staff. read more

A good hotel in Washington, that I would happily recommend it. The location is very good (subway a block away, the National Mall 7 blocks, a bus stops right in front of the hotel). The decor of the rooms is very good, there is also free wireless internet. The staff were always friendly and competent. read more

We were in the tenth and top floor with the room right next to the gym (surcharge). But don't seem to use as he was. (Outside temperature was always on the 35°C). The hotel had the best location on the outskirts of Chinatown. In 15 minutes. You are at the Capitol. All the staff were very nice and accomodating. Complaints were dealt with immediately Kundenfreundlichst. read more

Affordable nice, very clean hotel on the outskirts of Chinatown . We left the car in the garage and walk for example to the white house in about 15 minutes walking. For food we could across the street about 50m Vapiano (Italian chain with self-service - fresh and delicious) for example. Margherita pizza, pasta Pomodoro $8.95 $8.95). read more

Downstairs in the hotel is an Irish pub. We found it very comfortable to sit and long by Washington evening just there (even possible outside) to sit down to listen to live music and a cool beer to relax. Don't worry, you hear nothing from the pub in the rooms. The hotel is located downtown (Chinatown) and you can almost everything on foot or by bus or metro). If you think nothing more and the feet trying to help carry a not more is always a taxi to help. The staff is very friendly and helpful. read more

The Red Roof is centrally located in Chinatown Washington. We stayed for two nights as part of a multi-leg trip. Within walking distance are many restaurants and fast food branches available. Down on the street there is a supermarket/drugstore, where you could buy drinks and snacks at the same time could buy a shower gel for 99 cents ready to provide, if you own in the hotel the night before forgot; -) Also shopping near the hotel no problem, thanks Macy's, H&M and various other shops. Attractions, such as the "white house" are within walking distance (10-15 minutes. ) and ... of course, the Capitol are within walking distance (25-30 minutes. ).If you have walking difficulties-->subway stops near the hotel The rooms are simply furnished, but the decor is adequate and our room was clean. The bathroom was clean. read more

Good hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet (room on the side street before), centrally located, (subway 3 minutes away), various restaurants and also in the house (1 x had dinner there was good), right in the china town (interesting), I still felt safe, good value for money. I would not hesitate to come back. read more

We took the train from New York and were able to have lunch at 12pm in the not too far away from the train station hotel check in and move to our room. In the immediate vicinity are plenty of bars and restaurants to eat. We then White House, Washington Monument and Co. Walking distance from the hotel on foot, the running routes are absolutely ok. read more

We were on a USA tour for 2 nights. The rooms are large and very simply furnished. took some getting used to the knuffelige bedding, looked a bit like someone was already slept in, but the whole group so, so it is probably normal. Less enjoyable I found the dirty towels on the second day, for example. Stained, for example. With hair in it. After complaing twice we complained, we then got new hand towels, but we had to get them ourselves (silly when you already wet in the shower and forgotten! ). The location is good, the hotel is ... located in Chinatown close to a restaurant Row (international). Within easy walking distance to the White House, the museums of the Smithsonian Institute is also about a fifteen minute walk. On the ground floor of the hotel is an Irish pub, we weren't there, it looked comfortable though. If you had a room on the street side, you could hear in the summer though half of the night the noise from the beer garden. We ate only eating out, as I said, close to restaurants and coffee shops. All in all I would say that you didn't have high standards, this hotel is okay, however we had much better on our trip. read more

We were in the DC area for a few days. The hotel is in the middle of Chinatown. The metro is just a block away, you could however with the day ticket first at 930am. The sights are easily reached by train, so I would also recommend the day pass. The hotel is in a walking distance from the mall I wouldn't recommend it, as it is all pretty photograph and quite is spread out! The room we had was quite large. We had two large separate beds( je 140 cm x 200 cm) and in the room was ... a coffee maker with kettle. Overall a good hotel for the town, however without breakfast! read more

Even though the hotel was in the middle of Chinatown(had first ärgste concern), we felt also in the middle of the night or in the late evening never felt unsafe. As opposed to the 'yet extinct with portions' remaining part of downtown (almost scary) people sitting in and outside the pubs and bars, so you won't have any traveling alone. From the 'noise' was in the hotel could not hear any noise. To the mall 10, maximum. 15 minute walk. The restaurant (pub) in the house, with an outdoor area, is also recommended. We ate there twice very good. Also ... in the neighborhood seems to be very popular, as there were always lots of the residents. From NY, take this hotel only 5 full star for the value for money give!!!! read more

Although we had difficulty finding the hotel with the GPS to find - as it is in the H-Street, however we were perfectly happy during our stay. It is located in Chinatown very close to the National Mall - so, it was ideal for walking loszustarten for example. The White House, the Parliament, one of the many museums or the Lincoln Memorial to visit. You can rent a parking place, which we did. The front-desk staff are very accomodating and friendly, the hotel is newly built - there was optically and technically nothing to complain about. A small complaint was ... the right across the street from the church, the hourly Zimmerfensters Glockenklänge Big Ben copied. However you Silenced about 22 hours - as far as I can remember you at night I couldn't hear them anyway. The room was slightly sensitive to the person above us so we clearly hear walking around in the room and although close to the toilet or shower was so you could hear a bit noisy. It was wireless-long (which we didn't use. The room overall is in beautiful red décor and modern and pleasantly furnished. read more

With a Red Roof you shouldn't expect a luxury of course, but the room was clean and functional (definitely ask for a room with 2 beds, otherwise takes you to the Miniaturzimmer). Through the great location right next to the metro (with 3 lines) you can practically Washington (including Arlington, Pentagon, Reagan Airport) easy and cheap. The Unionstation and the Congress is in walking distance from in about 15 minutes. read more

The hotel is in a very good location. much is within walking distance. The area (Chinatown) is to get used to. It is very noisy at night, there is plenty of police who also at night you can hear constantly with sirens. Many questionable Make the area. The hotel is very clean. Internet could be over T-Com How about $8 for a 24 hour period. The staff is very friendly. The rooms were cleaned well. read more
