I am on business and touristic already got around a lot. I had only a Bahamas-Nassau-trip to Miami from, just the curiosity of the 'tropical' owed. If You vacation here makes, will better more money to spend and away from Nassau on cable beach in a more exclusive N beach section quarter. The Nassau palm hotel, if I am at the point: no atmosphere, at least nothing for beach tourists or Subtropical feeling. The whole place looks inside an old-fashioned, the hallways along almost fall off Eden and rusted air conditioning, as workers living in a home, the furniture in ... the room total shabby and outdated, window dirty, bathroom with mold and rusty window, Badamartur showed traces of time used it, cigarettes casually, the toilet paper holder was more than stahlglänzend rust. The plastic chairs on the balcony were dirty, I had to clean this desire. By the pool was not at all, neither at the Saturday the Sunday, no lively tourists, yes, with the total eingestaubten be comfortable no rauflegen, as the main thoroughfare directly to pass. Breakfast I had, as one of the first there, got more crockery and cutlery, if you came later, had to do with plastic cutlery. The price of a double room a well-known hotel portal (not holidaycheck) was reasonably priced compared to 'cheap', but a bargain for the convenience it is by far not. In general, I would not recommend Nassau, there is nothing Popular attractions except for a souvenir mile, where tourists from cruise ships romp and things, which gives it at all promenades of the world equally. Urgently needed a renovation/Nassau restoration of facades and buildings, many shops are leergeraümt or is simply throwing trash has been added. Restaurants in immediate nearby does not exist or hardly any, the, what I saw, had no exotic flair. I think, you are either in the south of the island of new Providence or, more generally, on another island clear better repealed. Only a snorkel trip to book excursions or, more generally, water sports undertake, you will see the beauty of the islands, apart from that, the 'neighboring' Florida is far from equal, an idyllic and far cheaper than here. read more

We were there for three days in Nassau and then flew to holiday grand Bahama.
Our goal was, to see the town and, as far as is possible, can come into contact with the locals. Therefor this hotel was great!
The rooms quite large, good mattresses, friendly staff, totally clean (important to me!). American breakfast, but you have to live with it, if 85% of the tourists Americans.
More than breakfast, is absolutely unnecessary, food everywhere in the immediate vicinity plentiful. If you like eating Baha, Mish, go along the beach to the left or under the second bridge in ... the city (Potters Cay) and find good, inexpensive, Baha mische kitchen.
If you want a beach holiday, you should rent on cable beach or another island.
Land and people who wants to explore, in this hotel is perfect, because the central location is unbeatable, the price/performance ratio excellent.
Indeed, we have rarely seen such nice and friendly people from around the world met in Nassau. read more

All complaints about the hotel, this is not the Hilton. Then give more money and stayed at the Hilton. I only needed a place to sleep and I have received. Large bed, well air-conditioned rooms.
Only the bathroom was dirty and never cleaned has become from the maid.
The breakfast was for the birds. There was always the same and it is on the second day boring, the time taken in order to sleep.
Otherwise everything was in order.
Dinner for $16 as a buffet and every night was said by the service. But the guests had to pay all ... other I have never seen that paid for the food. read more
