Again and again a wonderful, relaxing vacation! The grubachhof deserves its four stars in any case. The value for money is absolutely okay. The food is very good and themensuiten are a dream! Thank you Barbara and Hans for the beautiful days in the Zillertal and in your hotel! Ps: the ' Willi' on the fußalm is excellent! See you soon read more

After the trip there magnificent scenery we arrived on the edge of gerlos the hotel grubachhof. After a informal greeted by the house's manager we went in the booked theme suite. The suite was spacious and the massive wooden furniture make for a pleasant living climate. The view into the schönachtal was another plus point. The hotel has because of its location the advantage, that the hustle and bustle in the center only easier, if you also wants. Nevertheless it is only a couple minute walk to the many bars and shops in the village. From and to the slope ... is easily reached by ski. In front of the dinner recommends a trip in the wellness area where two saunas, a steam bath, infrared cabins and a pool, also for swimming, are. The dinner, as also the breakfast are more than enough and most products come according to the owners from the farm. For dinner is the junior manager responsible. The food tastes very good and also nicely arranged. We are definitely coming again - many thanks to the family gram! read more

The individual themed suites are beautifully decorated and the whole establishment with kind details stocked. You feel at home from the first moment. A very clean house with great wellness area and a service that leaves nothing to the imagination. A breakfast with everything you could wish for and a 5 course menu where the eye mitisst, simply fantastic. Whether young or old everyone feel comfortable and purple looked after. read more

In advance: we have tour operator our hiking vacation the 4-star hotel innertalerhof in gerlos, about 4 months booked in advance. On arrival we were confronted by, that the hotel was fully occupied, we but a 'upgrade' to be given, for the -star hotel grubachhof (later it turned out, that the owner the brother is). We booked half board. The types of people were of around 30 to 70 years. However we have to say, that our arrive at best 5 families / couple in the hotel there, so that on the guest structure no more information can be made. ... The hotel grubachhof is outside inspection not very inviting. Responsible for the partly totally weathered and ungepflegten balcony. The room in the attic, which we can say, was quite run-down. The dining room was optically very attractive, something from the bar unfortunately not can be said. There were very many bottles cross and crosswise, fully unsorted mess. A consistent occupation of the bar in the evening, was also not available. The occupation the front desk, was also very sporadically, which however also not surprised, since all work ( front desk, partially service, bar at the bar, massage, hausmeisterarbeiten and so on) because of the owner, respectively by the owner. Carried out were. Complaints in our opinion were (as also with our nebenzimmerbewohnern ) especially the heater, not, respectively inadequate in use was. To repeated complaint was told the heater only slightly lukewarm, and this is enough. But our individual heat -, respectively kälteempfinden we'd even set.     The room was, as they say, functional. It was in the dg and had a balcony. On the balcony there were chairs, on which one not times the laundry to dry wanted, but had to go, since, as mentioned above the problem with the heating stock. The shower was without shower stall designed. Disadvantage: at showering, the whole area before the washbasin eingenässt. Drain, none. The furniture had its good times before about 20 years.     As I already described the dining room was very nice. The quality of the food for a -star hotel rather insufficient. Once there was a 'grubachhof vitalburger '. It consisted of a normal breakfast sandwiches with a hamburger. Around the whole together to hold, a holzspieß durchgesteckt. Another times there was a breaded schnitzel with fries. The food tasted not bad, but as mentioned this is not a 4-star food. The essensmengen the were handed, were mostly so extremely little, that at best a 5 - -year-old child full of them can. The atmosphere was because of the low number of guests not easy.

The cleaning of the rooms was extremely sparse. On arrival stood a bottle of water and two glasses ready. Both glasses were on arrival used and the bottle drank. 5 days later were the used glasses and the empty bottle of still unchanged in the room. The washbasin stood on a holzablage. The washbasin was cleaned daily, the holzablage unfortunately not a only times. The beds by us were before leaving the room easy get shaken out and so they remained also unchanged.

We were for the first time in grubachhof and immediately felt really good. Good, that the (few) bad reviews not a stay in grubachhof deter do. The hotel is very clean and tidy and the hosts shone friendliness and hospitality. Directly from the hotel you can different hikes start, so we have on any day our car had to use. The themed rooms are definitely recommendable, tip as a room to the street side, not on the mountain side. The sauna area is OK, although a bit small. The breakfast is extensive and diverse. In the afternoons there are cakes, unfortunately there was in our week of vacation always the two same cakes: Sachertorte and beverage choices. The dinner includes 4 courses, the portions are m. W. Adequate. Stronger eater may in any case order. For a four-star hotel I would have sometimes superior main courses desired. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The service was very satisfactory is ... committed and looks for personal contact to the guests. read more

We were the 2 time is run by the grubachhof. The first time four years ago we had a theme suite, the full of details equipped and sweet details as small murals had. This time we came with our small and had a family suite. The was very spacious and comfortable with 2 bedrooms, living and esstube, large bath and fireplace. Although the majority of of the guests at this time of the year without children traveling, we have of the kids very comfortable. Guests were mainly German or niederländischsprachig. Both hotel room, as well as public spaces are clean ... and tidy, a bit, the 4-star-houses is not everyday, and which we already had experienced differently. The willingness to help and warmth of owners and staff us last time very much, which we this time back has been confirmed. read more

At the beginning of always a salad from the buffet, afterwards you were surprised with the most different dishes. The kitchen was qualitatively very high-quality, what we otherwise eighth. Just bio respectively animal position in the meat is very important to us and family gram brings now and then own animals on the table. Apart from that the food was very varied, mostly typical of the country-shrewd, but there were also days, where mussels or tuna as a starter on the table came. Since several course gave, were the individual portions not huge, but sufficient. If we a bit more to eat or something didn't like, was post not a problem.

    At the end of Zillertal nearby the gerlospaßes the hotel is ideal for moving routes, various degrees of difficulty, also Innsbruck and the nice small towns in the Inntal are easy to reach. For smaller, simple tours we found gerlostal and schwarzachtal top. The elevator for tours on the isskogel or further is right next door, so probably also ideal for skiers. We had 2 days rain and the owner felt with valuable tips help. Great are for example the various mines ( however price not without), tratzberg castle or the ' house head' in vomp (there is also a great indoor playground). Altogether we had with small child everywhere the feeling, welcome.

Very beautiful, family-run hotel with very friendly owners. We were with two small children there and we liked it very much. In the hotel is for children, up to the pool, however little was offered. Here you have to the offers in the area use. read more

After some deliberation we had decided, a hiking and wellness weekend in Tirol to spend. By chance, we on the grubachhof encountered. In spite of the a short distance to our home (circa 50 kilometer) we have wholeheartedly comfortable. The staff, as well as the host family was very friendly. The room was clean and the setting of the mountains in the background... Great for hiking and relaxing. We recommend it in any case further. read more

Very good and friendly well run and nicely designed hotel on the edge of Gerlos. Arrive and enjoy: here was not too much promised. Very friendly staff. The whole hoteliers -family is management of the hotel redevelopment. The dinner in 5-course menus (no fear: at the end you certainly full, since the possibility is, the one or another Seconds to get). Here applies also: the eye eats with and the food tasted really good. Breakfast there is the rich buffet. Wonderful! It is through hotel with open eyes. Original Comments on the walls contribute to without flaunting. Nearby there are ... many hiking and mountain bike-distances and the nearby located Zillertal Alps offer possibilities for extensive mountain tours. In short: great hotel in a great -location and very nice hosts. read more

The hotel is enough large for families and also very family friendly. The rooms are in top condition. The rooms are very clean and cleaned daily and of course there are always fresh towels. With the half board there is a large breakfast buffet and in the evening a -course menu to select. Guests there are from young to old. read more

    The rooms are huge. The bathroom is great equipped and toilet is separate. There is a large balcony with a nice view to nature. Everything was rather simple in wood. There are different issues after the rooms designed ( for example one with waterbed, a with a large bath tub integrated in the room...). The rooms are nice and lovingly furnished. The room was clean and still rather new.

    The restaurant is in the hotel and in the area there are some restaurants/ bars. So the quality/ quantity the food is excellent and everything was always very fresh. There are typical tyrolean food, but also other food to choose from. The breakfast buffet is very good and there is something for everyone there ( eggs, waffles, fruit, sausage and cheese...). The atmosphere in this hotel is very friendly and welcoming.

    So the friendliness this family is really unique. Such a cordial and real interest in the guests I have not in a hotel met. And the adults children are also working with and also fit in the atmosphere. The cleaning of the rooms takes place daily.

Basically the hotel is already recommendable, there the rooms nice are large and the dishes also a excellent quality have. Furthermore the hotel lies very good - especially in the winter - as the cable car are only two minutes away on foot is. Personally but we in gruberacherhof not so well, since the anymore always somehow from the mood the boss depended. Was this bad mood, worked itself also on the staff and you had to for example about ten minutes to a drink etc. Wait. Chef and junior manager product always friendly and accommodating. Besides the hotel is ... rather for foreign guests recommendable. We as austrians have always as guests 2. great comfortable. The hotel itself is really very nice, however again we will not go back. read more

Walk to the center approximately 10 to 15 minutes A real hotel for relaxing as you on the terrace very good possibilities it has like for instance a large lounge. What was most impressed was, that the bosses very much trouble with the setup of the hotel made as in the entire place sprueche as well as paintings were. We even had the front desk a very warm gruessgott from the junior ... boss get. To the cleanliness I can only say: ' it is very clean and it is also of the boss in the rooms helped and controlled.     The rooms were the best part of our short break since everything was very beautifully and individually decorated. Every room is other, and also differently. :-) that is a reason to come back to. Nice view on a glacier and large terraces in the suites. Mini bar on request safe is also in the room, tv, we had a bath tub middle in the room are. Is cleaned daily.

    The service was really top, we could even one evening in the wine cellar restaurant, although we did not had reserved.:-) We immediately noticed that we in a famileienbetrieb there are the whole family in the business helps no matter wether kitchen, service or front desk. The boss is always on the way in the hotel and have to be careful, that all its way runs. The boss when we took a new project encountered behind the house the trees schaelen. We were also always during dinner asked, whether we still consulting to have would like.

    There was very much to try through the mountain active program like for instance climb, rafting, ropes course and one can with real wnderfürern hiking go. It is a natural pond with außensaunas built and now has a great rustic flair. Swimming pool was a bit cold but refreshing dip to cool down from the sauna just perfect. In the hotel there was a small wellness area with 2 saunas and a turkish, as well as 2 infrarotkapienen. There are also various masaggen offered. And it is everything always cleaned in the evening.
