The Hotel Arion is located in the district of psiri, very nearby the old town. To the Monastiraki square are a few minutes walk away and in the direct vicinity of the hotels we found nice taverns.
If you with public transportation travels, is the Arion surely the perfect Base ( a parking space I would like, in the surroundings of the hotel not to find.)
We stayed at the start and at the end our Griechenlandferien Arion and were completely satisfied. The room we found pleasant. Depending on the floor you from the room a beautiful view of ... the Akropolis. The staff members were very friendly and the breakfast was for Greek standards exceptionally good. Very enjoyable we found the service at our day of departure. Since the ferry very early started, we had to already leave at 6:00 break. ' not a problem', told us, in spite of the early hour we were a breakfast prepared. The Arion was very good. read more

We stayed during our Greece-trip twice in the hotel Arion. The check-in at the front desk around the occupied o'clock worked both times easy and only took a few moments.
At first stay we had a great room with a view of the Acropolis. We asked for one of the friendly receptionist, during our second stay again ourselves this room and our request was promptly fulfilled.
We were a bit disappointed with the breakfast room. Owing to the official photos we thought, the breakfast served on the roof. Is however not the Sunday the breakfast room is located on the ... first floor above the reception area. There is a roof terrace, which has a great view of the Acropolis and the rest of the city, it is hardly used during the day and it is so hot, that it lasts only a few minutes on the roof terrace.
The breakfast buffet itself, however, was good. There was coffee, tea, water, juices, toast, pastries, rolls, various cereals, sausage, cheese and much more. Tables were cleared quickly, cleaned and the buffet always filled up.
Right next to the breakfast room has a PC with Internet access, which you could use for free. wireless Internet was there, but we didn't used.
Our room was spacious, had a safe, fridge, tv and a comfortable bed. And as said: The view was great!
The size of the bath was enough for two people. Also in cleanliness there was nothing to complain about.
A bit annoying was the small, barely visible and far to the room-mounted stopper for the bathroom door. As force you to mood, which immediately with proper fußschmerzen acknowledged. Here is a little be careful. At the latest after the third time you but learned.
The hotel is located close to the old town (plaka). So you can almost all sights within a few minutes walking. There are also restaurants near the hotel in abundance. The nearest metro station (Monastiraki) It is also just about five minutes walk.
All in all, we enjoyed our two stays at Hotel Arion very enjoyed and would definately recommend the hotel next visit also at the Athens into account. read more

We stayed for 3 nights at the hotel Arion and got a room 5 . Floor. The roof terrace is located in the 7th Floor. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. The guest structure was international. Unfortunately there was a group of English students at the hotel, which seem to be believed, in a hostel. From 10 PM to 2 am there perky movement on the roof terrace. read more

The small hotel with only 26 rooms is fairly recently renovated and seemed very modern, perhaps a little bit stylish. The interior - also the rooms were better than the 3 -star standard, under the the hotel works. Everything is very clean. It is only breakfast and snacks - no own gastronomy. International guests - obviously popular especially for younger people. "Sahnestück" is the Dachteerasse with a great view of the Acropolis. Sometimes there are problems with the elevators. read more

This hidden hotel is set in an ideal location for exploring Athens. An absolute highlight is the view of the Acropolis from the roof terrace in the sieved stick. Restaurants and bars in the vicinity of the hotel-it was still very quiet. The old town and the metro about five minutes. Good Air Conditioning. Breakfast buffet is very plentiful and of excellent quality. Language: English, or German over the rice head
Recommendation: without restrictions! read more

A hidden located hotel in a central location. Old Town, Acropolis and many other sights are within easy reach. The metro station is also not far away. The absolute plus is however the roof terrace in the sieved stick, it offers unobstructed views of the entire city, what more could you ask for? read more

We spent our honeymoon with two days in Athens in the hotel Arion finished. The hotel is in a somewhat but their knowledge street (not even the taxi driver knew the Piraeus) in the centre of Athens. In five minutes you're in the heart of the old town (plaka) with shopping possibilities.
The hotel is modern, the rooms are large and clean. usual amenities with tv, air conditioning, Kühlschranl. Separate Toilet. We had a room on the top floor with a view of the Acropolis-great! The breakfast is varied and good. Free Internet is available.
Highly recommended for a city ... break! read more

Small city hotel in the Trendy district Psirri, a few minutes walk to subway ( Monastiraki) away. Almost all the sites are within walking distance. Mixed clientele. Generously sized room with very comfortable bed and a nice view of the Acropolis. Clean, modern bathroom with everything you need. Good buffet breakfast, was basically the pleasant surprise. Everything was very clean and well-kept. Many places to eat nearby (mostly frequented by locals and so some of the most interesting) in which you good and cheap to eat and a good night. read more
