Good middle class hotel in a central location

We were as a couple city break in London. Our room was rather small (roughly 3 meters times 3 metres), to change, shower and sleep ok, for longer stays in the room these are too small. For a longer stay we would be too small (since then the space for the clothes not more would be sufficient). The location is really very good. With a subway station is right in the oxford street. The breakfast is ok, the choice could be a bit bigger. We would for a 2-3 days stay go back again. read more

the hotel is located in a very well maintained and modern condition. The rooms are rather small, however very nice and comfortable furnished. The room was in the direction street, however is the hotel in a quiet lateral road, so that you don't noise from the street easier. In the room there were an iron, kettle with different types of tea, as well as TV and telephone for free use available. read more

    the rooms are rather small, but comfortable and modernly decorated. The furnishing looks very new and makes a very good impression. The room was daily cleaned. There is a large safe, iron, telephone, TV, Wi-Fi, Makers inclusive tea bags, air conditioning, as well as a heater available. The beds in the double rooms are quite narrow. the bathroom is small, however in excellent condition. There is a hair dryer available. The towels are changed on a daily basis.

    in the hotel there is a small breakfast room, the homely decor. There is a choice between continental and English breakfast. Both is recommendable. The choice of meals and drinks is very large and leave nothing to be desired. The dishes were always freshly prepared and plentiful available.

    The staff at reception receives a very warm and gives gladly a few tips for everybody. at the front desk there were also some tourists with further information about the London sights and current events. The rooms be daily cleaned, as well as daily the towels changed and garbage bin emptied. The hotel offers free wake-up services.

    the hotel is located in next proximity to Baker street station. From here, the Sehenswürdigkeitenbequem within a very short time rEACH. Within walking distance are London zoo, Madame Tussauds, as well as the famous shopping area of Bond street, Oxford street, etc. to reach. The hotel is located in a quiet lateral road, so that from the noise from the street nothing easier. Around the hotel are some restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.

This hotel is because of the very central location for short breaks (!) recommended. BState Ford makes the whole a clean and neat impression. For longer stays (!) can the extremely small room very upset! We stayed in a room in the basement. The continental breakfast menu consists only of a sort of cheese unfortunately, getoastetem white bread and dry (old?) croissants and rolls for 7.50 pound per person charge you got a full english breakfast (with fried eggs, scrambled eggs, bacon, etc.). read more

the hotel is located in a central location. Good access to the metro. The room is quite small. The hotel features left a lot to be desired. The bedspread was already quite worn. The bathroom was very small. But for sleeping it was good enough, as you rather London and not the hotel room I wanted to see. Breakfast was very monotonous. The coffee was not edible. We had the choice between cheese, a type of sausage and two sorts of jam. On the day of departure you could leave your luggage at the hotel, once again getting around London. read more

The Blandford is a small hotel with approximately 30 rooms, the rooms is small however for a city journey hands it perfectly! With us the rooms were clean and daily were cleaned, the bedlinen (even if them are dirty) each day are not changed, but thus one can also live. There is present mixed nationalities in hotel, many Germans, Austrians and American, the age of the guests goes from 1-100! One can book the hotel only with breakfast, for the English breakfast become per person and day 5 Pound computes the interkontinetale breakfast is inclusive! read more

    The rooms are already very small, around the bed must one around go beautifully nearly diagonally! In the room a double bed with two files was a desk (to which one cannot set oneself because one the chair not out pull can - > rooms too small), small clothes and the bathroom with shower. There is a water digester with some teas, milk, sugar and coffee in the room, also a safe and a telephone. Furniture is reliably not again however in good condition. Which I so yet did not see is that in each room an emergency exit is to “fire stairs” leads outside at the house is. This emergency exit is not unfortunately very well sound-isolated which a little is “stupid”, that punctually around 5°° begins the London he pigeons with a Kreischkonzert on the fire stairs: -)!

    One can book, like said only breakfast in Blandford, this is however ok. To the intercontinental breakfast belong rolls, croissants, toast, cheese, salami, yogurt, muesli, jams, butter, orange juice, milk, dte and coffee. The English breakfast contains scrambled egg, Champignons, fried egg, bacon, sausages and beans. For these warm courts per day and person 5 Pound are computed! The dining-hall is rather simply held, like the remainder of the hotel. It is also the only place at which one the other guests to see gets! In addition it is possible Sandwiches of the room service to be brought to be able.

    The staff was always very friendly to us, never gave it someone not with a smile welcomed. There are not Fremdsprachenkenntnisse with the staff, at least no German, but one cannot expect also that one drives can everyone to London and German. The room cleaning was ok, the rooms was clean, each day fresh towels. In each room there is a guest briefcase in which one information about hospitals, dentists etc. finds. Complaints did not have we, therefore I cannot say like handling you am. All in all well, but not world-moving!

    With the underground one drives from the airport Heathrow a good hour, the hotel is easy to find the underground station Baker Street only a few meter far away lies there! Directly opposite the hotel is madame Tussauds and numerous souvenir shops. In addition the hotel is not far from the Hyde park far away, thus also for Jogger not bad. The Oxford Street is only one underground station and/or distant for a few roads! Up to the department store Harrods are it 1 1/2 hours foot march, one can however marvelously through the Hyde park go, what actually is already very beautiful!
