If you are there for a city trip and want to stay in a traditional hotel of Hamburg, you'll be right there. Only the spa is very poor, so on rainy days you get really bored at the hotel. The service was very good. Two things I suggest: book a room with view onto the Alster and have dinner at the Fischerheihafen Restaurant. read hotel review

Very good managed hotel, or:an architectural masterpiece, which was already over 100 years old! Both high comfort and a unique service! The rooms are all newly designed, and our suppliers gave us a free upgrade to a better room, as well as daily a big bottle of water free of charge possible! The coffee machine was replenished every day with cups, but, if you ordered, the extra will be charged. The bar, right behind the entrance area, very generously designed, is just worth seeing! The two pictures from Udo are top-integrated and kind of funny. By the fireplace, in ... the hallway, the direction of dutch rooms, are still more pictures of Udo. If you are lucky. Meet the artist, he is really a unique, kumpelhaft and seemed like it to the stage knows. No fear, on the contrary, a guest like any other, with the one was gladly times a bierchen drinks. In the Europa Center, 2. og there are some more pictures of Udo, you also learn more about its foundation. And. If after cigar room smells. The Hotel Atlantic belongs to the best hotels in hamburg. Top renovated rooms, extraordinarily friendly and attentive service and a wide variety of other hotel amenities in a great location on the alster lake. Over here one feels himself immediately like well cared for and friendly welcome. The hotel's restaurant offers fine cuisine with uncomplicated, discreet service. Lobby bar has a wide variety of drinks. The breakfast buffet was very rich (very large fish dishes were offered), although the price at the border. The spa area was well arranged and dgepflegt. We went for an extended weekend in Hamburg and stayed in Atlantic Hotel from. The front desk and the check-in were a 5 star hotel. The room was large, clean and well furnished, the bathroom was handicapped accessible. The breakfast buffet was outstanding, the staff friendly and very accomodating. You can only say keep sunday Even if the price is slightly higher, than in the hotel across the street a famous chain, so that Atlantic every cent or Euro value. Next time we will stay at this hotel again. read hotel review

Nice old hotel in Hamburg. Unfortunately partially too small room! Spa is dated and needs to be a formal house to be replaced and increasing! Also the opening times over christmas left to be desired unfortunately. Also for fitnessbegeisterte, this hotel is unfortunately not the real! The breakfast is very rich and qualitatively very high-quality and tasty. Overall a nice hotel with a special atmosphere. read hotel review

Check-in 15 hours only around 3:45 p. m. get a room. Only smoking room instead of non smoking room. The wait for the new room a drink on the house in order. After 25 minutes still nothing gotten. Then to our room. Stains on the bathrobe and clean (?) Towels Staff number of guests a bit overstrained but despite all very friendly. A real, real Grand Hotel with everything that belonged, especially concerning the service. Our room was small but nicely and newly. Perhaps somewhat darkly (wood). But much light. Bathroom is even smaller, brilliant. Of course all quietschsauber and polished. Windows a bit strange. Great mattress! The hotel itself is in different condition, everything very tasteful and expensive, but with remodeling is one not yet finished. Nice porter! The car was parked! Only thing missing is a liftboy. International tourists, staff and more than enough. All friendly, reservedly, adequate. The reception a hole in the stomach issues. Many small things that ... the guest not immediately attract attention and contribute to the well-being (for example if you were your room aired, the light and the bathroom door open). The bed, of course, turned down (gave us a cookie or something was missing). The breakfast. Oh well. Not bad, world-moving however also not. At least, the kitchen on request different things fresh. Good coffee. Many newspapers. In the evening we were in the bar. Good cocktails. Snacks. The pianist a typical barpianist. Sing he would have of us don't have to. And it is of course also the hotel from Udo Lindenberg. Many pictures of him in the hotel. Really fun stuff! A shame that the Atlantic not really on the alster was as you after the photo says. The Atlantic, legendary luxury hotel in Hamburg, a little into the years came. Very friendly front desk. The very nice guest rooms are equipped with all modern comforts and leaves nothing to be desired. The breakfast buffet is just perfect. The Hotel Atlantic captivates with so many different components, on the one hand, the beautiful, castle-like architecture, the at times the bädervillen and grandhotel reminds. The suites and rooms are perfect in the logical handling and spotlessly clean. Technically everything on reconverted into, air conditioning, flat screen tv, well-functioning internet wi-fi, pleasant smelling hallways and rooms. The other is this flakschiff hanseatic hospitality by a too friendly, charming and gracious staff. The guests will be in the Atlantic the feeling, to be really welcome. Without by heart learned words, without attitüden the wishes of the eyes, whether in the restaurant ..., the breakfast, or at the bar. Striking are the services, the many not immediately eye, as for example, the valet in elegant uniform with cylinder, the its guests in front desk or adopt. Since we our complete anniversary at the weekend wanted to celebrate, we-after plenty of thought-the most expensive and fanciest hotel hamburg retreat (as a wedding present). The frontdesk was very friendly. Breakfast was great! Staff very pleasant. The room was really small with a view of the yard but we both didn't bother us. But unfortunately the joy very bothersome. Without me something to think, i am after showering barefoot through the room, until i noticed, my feet not clean (no lint, but dirt you with a vacuum cleaner easy way vacuum could). After taking a closer look, i realized ... the carpet not vacuumed was. I was so disgusted and i was also very disappointed. I mean, we stayed at the kempinski-the fanciest hotel hamburg-i am counting cleanliness and for this price i can expect, that the rooms clean are. I am really nobody with the lupe searching for dirt. I must confess, i did not dare to complain (was disappointed and emotional) certainly the hotel immediately response to my letter of complaint. I the hotel can for the following reason not recommend it, for this standard and the price, i expect a high level of cleanliness. For us it was not the case ☹ read hotel review

    The room was for the only real point of criticism: the hotel recruits on its website so, that all rooms have been refurbished. However we had a 'classic' room, which obviously has not been renovated. Accordingly the furniture, carpets and the bathroom unfortunately quite worn. The room with a view of the little substantial yard had a large bed, desk, small seating area, tv, minibar, telephone, and a safe deposit box. A closet was not available, only a small corner in the entrance area with luggage rack and a small wardrobe. With the air conditioning it was a very old model, a large brown box, with only 2 stages not really individually to rules. The small bathroom, which also has seen better days, with shower, toilet, sink and a mirror. Size, furnishing and cleanliness of the room was for a city trip ok, for a hotel of this category but not adequate and for us therefore disappointing.

    The breakfast buffet was alright, individual items such as scrambled eggs, omelets or waffles on order freshly prepared. The quality of the food and drinks there was nothing to complain about. For the price of circa 34 Euro per person i would have but more choice. Since i have stayed in other, much better hotels just as good if not better breakfast.

    Hamburgers, traditional hotel with a beautiful outside, also reception area, front desk and lobby are really impressive. Only our room was for one night ok, for a hotel of this category we could however clearly more expected, s. unten.

    The hotel is in a very central location directly at the außenalster lake. The railway station and the city centre are within a few minutes easy to reach. In front of the hotel there are a few free parking, there is a pay garage, this is, however, quite narrow, so we were glad, that a friendly staff our car for the return trip driven up has.

- real Grandhotel in a great location at the hamburg-alster lake. - front desk at the hotel past hotel staff in the lobby is in accordance with (at the end of course a matter of taste; i think it is stylish, there times somewhat different, than the modern luxury hotel) - overall, i am for the 5. time in this hotel and had every time a geschmalvoll renovated rooms, the use therethe good is. - only the spa area with its pool is clear from the 70/80. years. Of course clean, but regarding facilities (a circa 10 square meter large ... sauna cabin) not more time-and standard. read hotel review

The grand-dame hotel in Hamburg shows once the (necessary) total revamp in vorzeigbarem garment. The rooms are on latest technology, without the charm of the old to lose. We had wireless internet use included, we also had a tarf including breakfast booked. This is otherwise, in my view, completely overpriced.     We were in a alstersuite and were completely thrilled. The windows are definitely really close. With the windows closed the traffic outside of the hotel could not hear any noise at all. The room size was good, also if you have a 2. for 3 days probably hardly needs, still a nice guests. The bathroom was great, bathtub, separate shower and separate toilet-designed, high quality and clean!

    We had only breakfast, although the asian restaurant in the Atlantic everywhere praised and is recommended. The breakfast is good quality, you will find in any case something, w what one tastes, even if the choice in comparison to other hotels was well-arranged.

    Nordic, but not rude. I felt especially the front desk staff (neudeutsch front desk) was very pleasant and much less rigid, than in some other luxury hotels. Nordic much evenly. Despite huge-crowd at the harley-days in Hamburg and considerably modified guest structure this weekend, went smoothly, relaxed and very relaxed. The rooms were in top condition. The service was unobtrusive, thorough and quick. We had no complaints. Only the staff in the breakfast area was, although in limits-somewhat overstrained and hectic but since the whole thing is in buffet form is, should the no role to play!

Within walking distance you could reach both the mönckebergstraße (pedestrian zone), as well as the main train station in a few minutes. Restaurants and shopping are in the immediate vicinity in harsh quantities and hervorragenderr quality.

Just very, very good. Newly renovated, very well equipped room. Spotlessly clean. And it gives it even smoking rooms. :-) The lobby exudes 50. flair. Very pleasant hotel bar with prices at the upper limit. Staff hanseatic professional flawlessly and immaculately. Disturbed the general impression is the art of Udo liter the really everywhere herumhingen. Nevertheless: here i go gladly again at any time %blank%. read hotel review

As backpack travelers with 2 children from 4 and 7 years we have certainly not the typical clientele of the hotel -still from the start courteous and hanseatic nice service. My children (the first time in a star hotel guests) were thrilled from the hotel and its atmosphere perfectly. read hotel review
