Wonderful hotel with first-class service. Unfortunately somewhat very little counter space in the bathrooms. Gym very small. Swimming pool ok. Generally would optimierungsbedarf. But, the hotel was wonderful to walk, or go for a stroll on. Shopping etc. All in a short distance away. read more

You enter the hotel over a few stairs and device right at the front desk with lobby. Because the hotel recently renovated, we thought, oh god, this carpet. (so no marble or other stone in the entrance area). Has a somewhat strange color, that we thought, d he is old/run down, but in the closer look, we have seen, d ace probably specially should look. Arrived on the rooms we were from of contemporary art inspired. There is nothing to complain about, water on the bedside table, bathrobe and slippers in the bathroom, great walk-in shower. The spa is for ... category of the hotel rather a joke. A mini-sauna, a sufficient pool, but not exceeding 10 beach chairs directly at the pool and no extra relaxation room. This is' not enough ' and does not correspond to 5-stars, and the high price of the hotel. The breakfast is sufficient. What really gesrört has, that you at 9 o'clock no bugette more has. We have friendly asked, whether it is filled up, but it was sadly only the response ' that nothing more there, and the repeated on the following days. The breakfast is, in fact, to 11, except for sunday for brunch, only until 11 o'clock. The bread assortment as soon is, is a 'no-go'. Why then not someone in a bakery sends or enough brötichen in the oven is, is beyond us. There are with 38 € for breakfast simply too expensive. Also there is little smoked ham, only 1-2 cheeses. Prawns were no as, only a few shrimps. And the at 9 o'clock?! We thought, that we, in the best hotel in hamburg would be, but as we stayed in several 4 star hotels much more and cheaper breakfast and saw. The lobby the bar opens. It took the cigarette smoke everywhere and so in our clothes, we very unpleasant. And this area had to leave. Non-smoking not so ideal. Drinks quite high. 0,2 liter anti-alcohol /for example lemonade = 6,40 Euro. A great shame! read more

The hotel is located in minutenentfernung from the main train station directly at the außenalster lake. It is characterized by amazing service (i would like to say first class) from. We had a very warm welcome and the employees fulfilled every wish. We had for breakfast always a table with alsterblick, a magnificent breakfast, (sparkling wine, various egg dishes can be ordered, fresh juice etc.) That leaves nothing to be desired with a very attentive service. You can hardly put drank something, etc. Was cleared away immediately. A dinner you should definitely treat yourself, it is pure enjoyment. We ... had a 3-course menu with corresponding wines and loved it. Also here you can a table with alsterblick choose. Particularly romantic in snow (as we did in the march). The afternoon tea in the lobby is recommendable, delicious are the majority of cakes. The internet is free of charge. A special feature the riad el fenn with popcorn and nachos. We have to 2. skyfall looked-a range of numerous films is available. Only the spa is a bit small with too few chairs. read more

The kempinski is quite large, but due to the furnishing, or architecture noticeable at all. Cleanliness was perfect and the condition of the hotel also! The average age was at about 40, many eastern europeans. read more

The new year was once again perfect! The rooms are big, modern and contemporary furnishing! The rooms differ, generally, by the size, as well as the colors ( for example carpet, decoration etc. Pp). The bathroom is in my eyes, the best, to the new rooms. We had two very beautiful room, with a view of the hof. The ball was in this new year very well visited. The mood near the guests, as well as with the serving staff was great. The evening entertainment was for a really large hotel, this type and quality, adequate and so good. The ... food, the wine, in the Atlantic restaurant, was, as always very good! A worth a visit safe (also, if you in another hotel lives)! We can turn and turn, as we want to. We find furthermore no reason, for a complaint or a bad review. We want, at this point, for a perfect new year, with all staff of the Hotel Atlantic in Hamburg thank you. We will be back and look forward to the next visit in Hamburg read more

We were very happy, for the 2. time this year the Hotel Atlantic to have visited. Again we a great room with excellent views (alsterblick) and freundlichstem service. Comfy beds, great bathroom, generous pool, generous breakfast buffet, very friendly and attentive staff... Just one of the best hotels the world (if i this may say so) read more

My partner and i were in december in this wonderful hotel. The service was excellent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The authority of the staff first class. A beautiful large christmas tree adorned the entrance hall in the active life was. While on our room waited we were on a coffee in the lounge invited. Most, however, i was from our superior double room loved it. The room was simple wonderful. The bathroom had everything that you ask for. From the heated floors to the walk-in shower and bathtub. Simply first-class! We the whole day only in the ... room spend. The breakfast was especially for the price me delicious, as i am a fish lovers and the buffet enough choice offered. Also here was the service again excellent. The spa empfandenwir also very pleasant. Perfect to relax over the roofs of Hamburg. Unfortunately i thought the swimming pool water was a bit too cold. Conclusion isthe hotel was just great. Food we were however rather outside, because in the hotel we could us cannot afford. Great experience the every once should treat yourself. read more

About the hotel in general is already almost everything has already been said. Particularly the information from Matthias are not really to exceed. We were basically completely loved it except for a few things, the one can do better. The staff are the absolute coronation of the hotel. From the welcome at the car, on the welcoming at the reception, the service staff in the bar, the cleaning of the rooms - everything was totally perfect. Accommodating, very friendly and off course. Not to forget the concierge, mr e. g., the difficult reservations makes possible. You can only feeling well! ... A little surprised we were the room. It was for this hotel category very small, approximately 25 meters², which already the entrance area a lot in our room. In this house we would have avoided it a small room not expected, even if you for a 'cheap' arrangement, as we had, of course not president suite gets. The view into the beautiful atrium by a porch blocked, from the while having the windows open a ventilating noise heard and unfortunately was the air conditioning so over the bed placed, that you at night practically not to use. The window was so, that you hardly any outside to sit, because it is so moved. We have for the return trip also said. Change will probably be difficult, since apparently window during the renovation still not have been renewed. You can see that very clearly from the outside with a walk around the hotel. So there are still very lots to do. The furnishing very high quality. Even if we found, that the large, new wardrobe too few space is. Although there is a iPod station and a nespresso machine, but we had no radio reception in the television. According to front desk is the reception in your rooms not possible. Personally, i think also, that a greetings tv in a of high quality environment not the right product is. The bathroom was very nice. Equipped with a bath and separate shower. However i had instead of two einbauwaschbecken only one wish, then it would be enough places to put things available %blank%. From space reasons you could the sink anyway not to 2. to use. Would be nice a pole for the handbrause, because not every solely with the kopfbrause want to take a shower. A radio in the bathroom would have been nice, but no matter, we had anyway not radio reception. It is already clear, that most of the criticism of a high standard is, but this claim the hotel has yes, it could have. It is a wonderful Grandhotel, the is unparalleled and you can only recommend it. read more

As the Atlantic a bit 'worn' seemed, we were about 2 years no longer there. After the renovation restored it but the old glory! The furniture on the rooms are although it is very modern, rays but nevertheless a classic elegance. High is the decor to the floors and carpets on any doubt! The staff are the friendliest that i have ever in a hotel had! Only one negative is breakfast, which is not quite 5-star level. It in other 'simpler' hotels.! A shame! But overall would be the Atlantic my next Hamburg stay again my first choice! read more

Excellent service, coupled with discretion and high level, as well as absolute friendliness of the staff. Very nice greeted by the bell boy, competent inclusion of gästedaten at the counter, preparedness for special requests of the concierge, helpfulness in the wellness area. Excellent hotel on gewohntem kempinski level after gusto adlon and co. The renovation has the hotel well done. The room was with good 30 metres² very big and the bathroom even had a shower, bathtub, marble and everything the städtetripreisenden with style like. Super mattresses, flat screen tv and bose sound system must one not specially perform, however ..., you can, so i do it. We will definitely come back - maybe in the meantime, the IKEA cushions in the wellness area gone-the not fit and slides easily. Around the corner great, szenige eateries, so that one thats good and can happily do without. In the evening you need good feet, is a good deal to the center on foot. read more

    We got an upgrade from a junior suite to a superior suite, because we so more space as a family had. Of course, that was great. Two large rooms, large entrance area, two televisions, a iPod-docking station, and of course the coffee maker in the closet. The bathroom was quite large, with amenities such as you know it. Even for our young daughter (2 years) there was a children's bathrobes and kinderpflegeprodukte.

The 'Atlantic' is a their customers, from the beginnings of the last century own grand hotel, after a long renovation again to the flagships hamburg hotellerie can be counted. The public areas are very stylish and atmospheric decorated, especially the beautiful hall with the kaiserbild is focal point and elegant place to stay at the same time an experience, here in the deep leather armchairs contradiction, the arriving and departing guests to watch or pianoklängen from the neighbouring Atlantic bar to listen to. The brilliant white Prachtbau with the famous globe on the roof available on 4 floors approximately 150 ... rooms and suites, for the cheapest accommodation you must with about 200 €count (single room). The audience was mixed, but rather upscale and rather older grades, there is the whole world. Needless to say, that much eminent here einfindet, for receptions, events and festivities is the 'Atlantic' already for a long time with the first choice in Hansestadt. read more

    I had consciously a renovated superior room, after apparently still so-called-not renovated-classic rooms will be assigned. Unfortunately this upscale not convince, the room was not only quite small, but because of its furniture and room layout so uncomfortable, that i only for sleeping visited. Furthermore made the blue-gray, with black ornamentalism annotated colors with carpet, curtains and polsterstühlchen quite a gloomy atmosphere, 'compounding' came black/dark brown wood panelling and a real monster of equally dark closet added. The facts : the room was including bathroom about 20 square meters large, had a clean, very well maintained carpet, a grand lit with maybe a bit too soft mattress, small desk with writing case and modern lamps, (wi-fi, i have not detected, is however probably available...) , two tiny sidetables with telephone, rather uncomfortable polsterstühlchen, this' monster '-an optically ugly combination of little spacious closet (with only 6 hangers...) , safe, fridge with minibar, nespresso machine, coffee-/ tea bags, bathrobes, slippers and two tiny shelves, a holzumrahmten, on the wall paved, large flatscreen tv with about 30 channels (incomprehensible, that no 3. programs receiptable were...) , and an efficient, controlled air conditioning. Comfortable space wrong. The window was open and pointed to the nice, with warm temperatures as open-air bar used courtyard. Especially i missed a comfortable seating area, a 2. person the bettkante use. The bathroom equal rather the wet cell a 3-star guesthouse, situated on the Adria, it had a vanity with a few amenities, large mirror, make-up mirror, hair dryer, a shower-which however did not deserve the name, because it is simply a part of the bathroom with a bit lowered soil ausfüllte and from the toilet only with a shower curtain separated was. I must admit, that i have something on my many stays in luxury-and firstclass-hotels still not seen! Conclusion : the room 275 was a very disappointing experience and good money with the best will no value, even if of course, a certain mindestkomfort safeguarded.

From the greeting by the doorman, the assisting at the front desk to the adoption at the airport we met without exception friendly and competent assisting at! The rooms ( we had a suite with alsterblick) are large and with a ideal mixture between classic and modern furniture. A selection of chocolates and fruits sweetened the already very pleasant front desk. Every wish was fulfilled and concerns always friendly and promptly. Breakfast is in comparison to other houses this category just bad. We already have some five star hotels visited, but the breakfast and the service were by far the worst and not a luxury hotel worthy.     We had a large double room with view of the alster without a balcony, for our city trip was optimal. In the room were still a nespresso -coffee-machine, a large flat screen tv, a mini bar with a fridge, a safe and a telephone were also available. The offered bathrobes were large enough and the also offered ' slippers' for wellness-and pool-area comfortable and large enough. The bathroom was also big and spacious. Our room was newly renovated and offered everything, what we wanted!

A nice hotel with old traditions. Very good location and the price appropriate room. Gladly again. Was a lovely stay. Service excellent. In the bike rent is a Tadem available. Had with the biking tour through Hamburg have fun. read more

I had a very bad stay in this hotel because I got a very bad room not up to the standard of even 2 stars hotel very old and I think it is staff room and I was accommodated on it because the hotel was fully booked and try cannot find me a room from what is in the website and sold for the guests read more
