Our absolute favourite hotel in NYC. The location is perfect and the staff is amazing. Fast, very service oriented and they definitely go for the extra mile. We were upgraded to a suite on the 36th floor with a great view on Boradway. The sushi in the Blue vin restaurant is great and we did use the Acura service, which is a real asset for the hotel. It is pricy but it is worth it. read more

Nice hotel directly on the Time Square. Super flair. Go and New York experience. Everything comfortably within walking distance. We had the hotel without food, since we outside in the town wanted to eat. The room with a view of the Times Square in 20th Floor was perfect. Can certainly not with other W hotels compete, therefore but it is new York. For a NYC hotel but quite positive. Great restaurant, cool bar, and great location of course, even if I continue in the direction of the Meatpacking or so would go. Service could in sum better his. in short: for NYC really OK, but only in the area of restaurant and bar a real wireless read more

The hotel made a clean impression, if you in the lobby to the elevators and in the lobby (in the 7. Floor). The public toilets in the lobby but a bit of cleanliness to be desired. The hotel itself is very stylish, but not in the cozy-to-home feeling sense. Not very functional - I'll describe in the rooms but more accurate. We just spent the pure night because it was in the area enough possibilities to get a breakfast. There are in this hotel guests of all ages and all nationalities represented. evenings, however you look at the hotel bar ... (directly in the lobby), it is mostly young people and business travelers who is a nice place. The constant music played full. Get the room only three suns. Although it looks very stylish, but is not very functional. In the wardrobe space a bathrobe and three Winterjacken, and then he is also so well how busy. A shelf-fach cupboard, from the in-room safe use, on the second, rather high shelf are the extra pillows. Otherwise there was in the entire room only a (! ) Drawer, in which you can store your stuff. The second person to live out of a suitcase. In the room there is a iron & ironing board (in the closet), and a hair dryer - depends on in a bag at the sink, before you looking for long. Also a great large TV, an I-Pod docking station, a nonfunctional alarm clock, two phones, a CD player, and a quite comfortable chair right outside the window. A longer stay on the beach chairs, to the great view to admire I would not recommend this, it by the window was quite drafty. The rooms were renovated 2008, that's not really to see. Or it was just a bit sloppily. But if you didn't take a closer look like me, then they change it. A thick minus for the bathroom. A sliding door that wouldn't properly shut separated from the room. Be careful with long fingernails scrapped across, the break while attempt to the door to an enterprise to defer fast. The bathroom walls are frosted glass. So you can see what was in the bathroom. Though the person concerned now cleans the teeth or sit: frosted glass see it is. Oh well, you can hear also, due to the fact that the door did not reasonably priced. What I wasn't surprised: from outside, one person see the outline of the - from INSIDE but you couldn't see outside. Well, so VERY much looking for some privacy (in the bathroom) you may not good advices.

The hotel has a bar in the lobby and connect them. She was very nice and stylish decorated, with ample seating. Only the music which we on the way from lobby to elevator noticed, was too loud for me (apart from the taste). There is also below, right from the front lobby to reach the Blue Fin. A seafood restaurant. obviously also open for breakfast in the morning. We also didn't use it.

The staff is very attentive and friendly. Directly upon arrival we had asked if we instead of the booked room with a king-size bed room with 2 queen beds. Was not a problem. Only downside was that the room directly opposite the lifts. But their noise wasn't bothering was not too bad. At night I slept with earplugs anyway. As the walls are pretty thin, is the also recommended if you are like me a light sleeper. Not spend much time in the room we also received a phone call. You want to make sure everything was alright, or whether we needed. No thanks, everything alright. After a few days you us enough. as a small attention of the house, a few chocolate chip cookies. Delicious! Thank you, very attentive. the day prior to departure we were called them again, if everything was okay, or whether you could do for us. No thanks, everything alright. However, there are a deduction for the concierge and its silly comment. At check out I forever, after a long wait for the shuttle service (not super shuttle if you go out onto Newark International) the concierge asked if he can look please call super shuttle and could be asked when we finally being picked up. As it turned out to be could pick up / they didn't want, and we should please take a taxi. After I had massively excited (the taxi should just $80.00 a night) said the gentleman concierge really laid back: your Europeans have but the money. Uh, hello?! Our room service I must compliment. I forgot my money (after I took my daily ration) in the safe and truly instead on the bed. When we returned to the hotel at it fit neatly to set aside on the table. Everything! Very trustworthy cleaning staff.

The location of the hotel is second to none and also with the primary reason I recommend this hotel. It is right on the corner of the Times Square. Just across the street from the hotel is a Starbucks, in which you their coffee and bagel places for breakfast can get. You can Comfortably sit in this Starbucks not, but you could just take everything to your room and have breakfast then there. There are also many restaurants in the immediate area. The TGI Friday's, Olive Garden, Ruby Tuesday ... Be careful: on the bill will keep that "gratitude" on it beat: The tip for the waiters. The Olive Garden are 15 %, the Ruby 18 %. There are plenty of shops around the hotel: Hershey's, M&M Store, levis Store, billabong, American Eagle Outfitters, and in order to get yourself with water and snacks or stock up Kopfschmerztabletten, there's also a Walgreens. Right in the middle of Times Square there is a metro station, from here you can get to. There are also in every corner (very annoying after some time) young gentlemen who always ask if you with Grayline a Ausflugstour 41/42 to the Woodbury outlet mall, or a tour. We saw the tour to Woodbury outlet mall at the Port Authority bus terminal bought.

The hotel is not bad as other opinions could suggest. However voices few drawbacks, such as the somewhat Laborious procedure into the room only had 2 elevators. The reception/bar area is quite stylish decor, but there is always a lot of cool people, and it was quite "open". The reception area is a bit under. Room itself is fine, clean, and a 4 star standard adequately equipped. Overall the bonus of the hotel is probably its location, right in the heart of Times Square, and as long as you have no longer want/need to be at the hotel it's safe ... also to be recommended. I couldn't complain, as well as not lack of friendliness of the staff - where you much contact. read more

The hotel has a very cool flair. First you have to the entrance of 6 hotel staff patterns. Then the elevator once in the official lobby. If the Aufzugtüre opens think that you are in a bar is available as a bar in the lobby and throughout the hotel constantly is integrated with very loud music. The "front desk" is tucked away behind three bars. What a flair as a hostel. Either you come to a staff on easily young and hip makes or one of absolutely cranky. At the check-in the Member of staff had to three times in ... the rear of the lobby, by a locked door with a code. The three times so he had to enter code. It's got quite annoying. From the entrance door, you have to get back to you room with two different lifts. The same applies to the health club. On the second day you then only tried to get quickly, but due to the two different elevators not easy and communication routes very cramped and dark. Therefore, you were always in danger with other people. read more
