A super schnäppchenhotel, who not too much if you want to luxury sets.
The sub is 300 meters and the empire state 10 minutes on foot. Everything is easily reachable.

We are Singapore Airlines (a380!) To New York flown. Thus alone that is already a story value!
We can Singapore Airlines absolutely recommend and airbus is genuinly the knaller.
But now to the hotel:
We had a room with private bathroom on the 6. floor. The size is adequate and the furnishings is fine too. Air conditioning, tv, hair dryer, hand towels (every day fresh), chair with a table, soap, shampoo, coffee maker, etc.
Particularly positive us the cleanliness this 1 (!) Stars hotels noticed!
The staff is very friendly and helpful.
Wifi is free of charge in the hotel ... possible, but in any place in New York are there any wi-fi network, so we in the hotel the of att used, that was stable!
Somehow we had the feeling, that the hotel in german hands was ☺ the guests were really predominantly german. read more

We are absolutely thrilled from this (for new York standards) small hotel!
It is centrally located in Manhattan ( Midtown) in a small and relatively quiet lateral road the park Av. All around there are lots of possibilities to eat and buying go.
The subway is about 3 minutes walk away, the bus goes also just around the corner from.
We had a double room with Shared bathroom in the 7th floor. The room was even relatively large, equipped with double bed, small desk, tv with integrated DVD Player, hair dryer and a small washbasin. Absolutely clean and very clean! ...
On our floor there were two shared bathrooms/ toilets. Everything was very clean! Those have even late at night the bathroom cleaned!
This house is a absolute find, for all the relatively cheap, but good in New York your days want to spend!
Again about the location:
For a city trip perfect, because
Times Square 10 minutes on foot.
Rockefeller Center 10 minutes on foot.
Grand Central around 5 minutes away on foot.
- everything else with the subway or the bus great easy to reach!
We should again sometime in this crazy city, then to 100% in this hotel! read more

Very pleasant and friendly welcome, very helpful staff. Room reasonable, clean and for NY is the price ok. Hotel lies central and the Broadway and the 42. St. Are more than reachable on foot. read more

A cute hotel in the middle of from Manhattan. We felt very much at ease there. Especially the cleanliness of the hotel was very pleasant. We find, a very central clean hotel in the middle of Manhattan for a city break completely sufficient. Every day was the room made and fresh towels changed. We had a room where the bathroom in the hallway was the bothered us not the day cleaned several times. The sights of interest as the empire or Times Square you can in 10 to 15 minutes on foot reach. Very original new York city hotel, only approximately 10 minutes on foot from the empire State building. The hotel was at the time of our stay from a scaffold rebuilds, as repairs to the roof and the exterior was made. The room was relatively large, value for money ( for new York standards) very good. We had a 2 bedroom booked, Ausbilick the courtyard, tv, small counter for clothes. The bathroom was already somewhat older, the water pressure from the shower rather shallow, however everything very clean. The interior fittings does not correspond to the newest standard, but it however ... its purpose-and who spends in New York already longer than a few hours at night in the room on?! On the excursions I must at this point probably not write-the whole city is a unique experience. Close to the hotel are several restaurants, the a breakfast offer. The hotel convinced definitely by its central location and the typical flair, including original lift and carpets. read more

We were first skeptical a 1-star hotel to book, but the positive reviews, as well as the hitherto 100% recommendation on this side decided to book. And we were not disappointed.
We stayed with 3 adults a double-/ twinbed rooms with private bathroom. The bathroom seemed to have been renovated recently. The room was also not run down at all, but in good condition.
Only point of criticism were the verbesserungswürden window, the noise from the street hardly which offered( we had a room to the street back on the second floor). But the hotel is even in a city ... and not in the country.
In short: to this top price-performance ratio we would gladly go again! read more

If you want a clean cheap hotel in new York for sleeping searches it is ideal. Why an expensive hotel book if one anyway the whole day in NY is?
It is clean and comfortable. Not too big but as mentioned, for sleeping it was good enough!
Hotel is central and just in 10 minutes to time Square and so on what else could you want? So women and men of travel, book if you just want somewhere for sleeping looking for.

Somewhat older but nevertheless clean, central hotel. In my opinion rather suitable for persons without children. Staff was friendly, rooms were every day to our satisfaction cleaned.
It was in the room via menu a 24 hours Delivery service for food and drinks offered with relatively wide choice, which we however not tested.
The front desk has around the hour open.
All together a very good value for money:-) read more

the hotel is well located in a lateral road, from the you in 10 minutes footpath on the fifth avenue is. At the end of the lateral road is a café, where you good and delicious breakfast, because catering is in the hotel not available. The is however absolutely no downside, because in new York you should anyway not in the hotel food ☺
the rooms are although small, but really reasonable! The beds were every day freshly made and the towels are clean former. The toilets and bathrooms are on the corridor, however you can complete the and then ... has its own small bathroom to to shower. The hotel is although already getting old, but has its own nostalgic charm. Excessive comfort and style should and you can't wait, however it is absolutely suitable as overnight base, for new York to discover. read more

Small, charming hotel in an ideal location right on the Empire State building at fifth avenue of. The rooms are a bit older, but thoroughly every day cleaned and are equipped with a safety deposit box (free of charge) provided. The shared bathroom was several times cleaned daily and without any problems. To the rush hour in the morning there can be small queues of people in the bathrooms, but never have to wait long. By the excellent location are many sights easy to reach on foot. Smaller shops and restaurant are in immediate nearby. Due to its central location ... for day trips can at any time in the room a short stopover be (for example, purchases parking). The shops, bars and restaurants run the fifth avenue d every day until late at night and change at any time. If you don't expect luxury oversized, the hotel is well cared for 31! read more

the hotel is (for New York proportions) a really small hotel.
8 floors, quite narrow and from the outside quite inconspicuous.
It is none of these massive Times Square-Bunker, but a quite old, but in my opinion comfortable hotel.
the first impression was good, the small 'lobby' (no lobby, no places to sit) was clean, there are some brochures and free city maps.
The floors there is a elevator, the probably also from time to time time fails. This has definitely not newest standard, has a lattice pulled, but drives.
the guest structure ( in case you even someone looks) ... was the NY marathon very mixed, many Europeans, in all age groups.
it is reasonable value for money here. Who luxury searches, is in the wrong place here. Who a cheap hotel for sleeping and as a starting point for a city break looks for searches, is here in any case correctly. I can recommend it unreservedly. After the sixth Ny-visit for me the best hotel (in the proportion to the price). read more
