This hotel has a standard of 1-2 stars. Already the lobby was very dirty and dark. For dinner we were all alone, the chef served and cooked for us. There was cold sandwiches with fries. On the beverages we had to wait, until the food was ready. But the bill, we were still during the meals presented. The breakfast was either more than enough. Once again, we were all alone. On request we got omelet, apart from that was only toasts, strawberry jams in schraubglas, cream cheese, butter, olives and corn flakes. The coffee was already in the thermokanne since ..., besides milk and two types of juice. read hotel review

    The room is spacious, but dingy. It was called, you could view on the mountains or the city. None of these was correct. To the windows was a inner courtyard built, so no fresh air into the room came. Small seating area stained, that you don't sit down. The curtains do not close completely. The air conditioning contruction. The fridge in the corridor is empty, although noisy brochure mineral water was promised. The bathroom is very modern furnished, but everything was already broken. The mirror and the towel rack hanging only at a screw, the hair dryer is broken. Toilet paper had to very well be divided. And the highlight: from the shower came only cold water.

    There was a restaurant, if it can be so called. A bleak room, where the window curtained were. The tables were set with always, knife, fork and spoon. As napkins there was a box of tissues on the table. The beverages in the box with straw. We took ourselves a glass of the breakfast table, the in the evening already was addressed.

    The two young men at the front desk were friendly, but only if they are approached. Apart from that they were very busy. Except you and the chef we have nobody in the hotel to face received. It seemed deserted.

We stayed on the way back from Asia this hotel for two nights booked, so safes and as stop over to Muscat and the area able to watch. on holidaycheck we found this on many occasions rated 'treasure box in Muscat, the'. This hotel is no longer under the Austrian management, but was taken over by an Indian company under the name 'Johny International hotel'. since that must have changed a lot. Even the taxi driver for our part-trip told us, that in the hotel new management very suffers. Many guests remain far and I can also understand the condition ... of this. we stayed for two nights 170 euros paid. We would go for the money another hotel(IBIS or holiday Inn) to spend. I would like to caution against this hotel. It is in any event not more specified in this reviews from earlier time. The new management seemed to all ending and corners to save. If you want English reviews read, you will also confirmed -except Indians themselves taken all feel of this hotel as extremely dirty and the price was unreasonable. read hotel review

    the rooms were very cute decor. But unfortunately repairs only poorly carried out to be. The closets for example seemed worn and some small animals or remnants of it everywhere to find. the hair dryer was just barely repaired. In Germany would be something not at all valid, as a risk of injury this improper repair possible is.

    For a three star hotel it was breakfast a real joke. It was a very small selection: * a toast places * a marmeladensorte three star yoghurt brands * mushy Kellogg's (or better some cheap places) * Butter * Schmierkäre * orange juice or mago juice (both not safe to drink) on demand we were omelets. The only thing really good was the coffee...

    The service was to say the least disappointed and was apparently from the new owner shutting down to a minimum. We had to leave our bags to the room, a welcome was the room card. Also during the day all staff checking-in to busy food and beverage choices. the cleaning the room was apparently carried out, but only half-hearted look.

    The hotel is located about 10 minutes by car away from airport. To city center it was about 15 minutes. Nearby is the biggest mosque in Oman and is in about 5 minutes walk reachable. Also 5 minute walk in a supermarket reachable.

super nice, modern hotel. We arrived just after midnight, the check-in process uncomplicated and easy. We got a great chic Room with flat screen tv, large, comfortable king size bed, large, clean with marble tiled bathroom, sitting area and small kitchenette, to prepare a coffee or tea. The price was very cheap for Omani, so I found the price performance ratio very fair. There was free wireless Internet in the lobby, the very comfortable with seating equipped was. The breakfast was simple, but very tasty, the nice waiter for fresh eggs cooked and some extra wishes fulfilled immediately. The staff ... was very friendly, helpful and entertaining. The hotel is as described in the other reviews mentioned, not so easy with rental car to find, a bit at the outskirts of Muscat. But if you find the great Mosque, is the rest of the process was not a problem. I would recommend this hotel again at any time for a stop overnight book! read hotel review

The hotel is approximately 10 to 15 minutes' drive from the airport, nutmeg in a rather inconspicuous residential buildings with many and active construction. The external environment of the hotel is not very inviting and without knowledge of the taxi situation it is not easy to detect. The building itself is a compact cube the only through a very nicely designed porch in the entrance area noticeable. As soon as you enter the hotel, the impression but completely. It is a very nicely designed small lobby with front desk, Bar, booths, all with a pleasant Oriental twist. Very impressive are ... the many colorful glass windows and glass art work, as well as the pictures on the floors distributed. There are already very extraordinary things. Must not be to everyone's taste. The front desk is always occupied, the service is professional with friendliness and even sometimes an inconvenience but always according to the guest appreciation helping to be. A change of the room only been check in was not. Then perhaps tonight. And after ten minutes to negotiate. Immediately possible. In addition there was, although the hotel really was a junior suite instead of the standard room. The hotel may fully discharge in Tung for 40-60 guests be suitable. Restaurant and bar on our visit was not already in operation since actually only a few guests were present. The breakfast buffet was tidy with sausage and cheese and bread. It is all in closed rooms and is therefore a bit reserved but in the heat and the hotel environment makes a terrace or large windows no sense. Our original room was large and well equipped but unfortunately no windows and felt that as a dark catacomb. The referred suite was similar equipped but still much bigger room with extra seating and very well equipped bathroom with huge windows in the bathroom and living room. Minibar and coffee and tea were available. The location of the hotel allows up to the nearby the great Mosque No informal walks to some see values things. Husband is so dependent on taxis in the various touristic Aims to get in Muscat. This is one of the front desk and with a very nice (in the hotel belonging, because almost always ready standing) taxi drivers with good and very well-kept vehicle carried out. The cheapest is a Stundenpauschale negotiate since the individual routes are not cheap. We have two days and it worked perfectly. The hotel is a stop-over for a first overview of nutmeg to verschafen for two/three days suitable. Basically, the Muscat hotels with better touristic infrastructure also much more expensive, so that you here in this hotel price performance ratio can't complain. read hotel review

You arrive at night when we arrived quite unlit Building, is first shocked, because the Hotel in the midst of a large-scale construction site is currently, on the part of their work. Also at night. We found the Hotel in the Internet through an famous Online booking engine, where the Hotel was ratet as best in Town. We experienced that is true. Easy to reach but still in a quiet area of Muscat. The Hotel is small an unique but has a very modern arabic design. We found marple all over the place! Our room was very large and we only booked a superior double room but they upgraded us for free to a Suite wich was excellent. The rooms where very clean and light colored furnished. We also tried the Restaurant Tinello what has ... just recently opend as they told us. The serve great European Cuisine on a high level. The Beach Club is quiet large and good and has a hughe Bar!!! Transport was complimentary! Besides that we realy liked all the small details, the Staff remembered our Name already after the first day, WOW! In overall we have to say it is a great Hotel and the value for money is definitly great. Good looking and friendly European Staff, European style and Quality. read hotel review
