The Kibbutz hotel Kfar Gilady is located in Galilee, Northern of Kiryat Shmona on the edge of the Golan. The 166 rooms are on different building around the main building distributed. In the main building there are lobby, restaurant, bar, terrace, fitness area and swimming pool. All rooms are air-conditioned. Cleanliness perfect, relaxed atmosphere. Since we were in the context of a tour only two nights put and during the day on the way, I cannot say anything to the guest structure only, that because of the vacation days many Israeli families were there. read more

The hotel has a four star hotel from, this standard but I cannot in all rooms offer. Only a few members of our group had the good fortune, in this category to stay, really beautiful each room has. Room is 2 star hotel with 107 well evaluated. The size was the room okay. View close walls or in a tree, no balcony. Quite in need of renovation. Some visible unloving painted, darker wall-to-wall carpeting with stains, outdated facilities in room and bathroom. The furniture( desk, mirror, chair, Drawer chests of drawers, bedside tables) was dark, old and shabby. The closet was large, but smelled musty wood. The beds were and 180 centimeter 80 times extra in short, the mattresses but OK. Several light sources, but hardly good light. Mini-fridge and kettle (with instant coffee/tea) worked. The air conditioning hotel was handled rather well, there was a free safe. The TV-device modern multi-channelLCD TV ( German only sat). The bathroom was small, but did not feel cramped. In shower bathtub with shower curtain, but without mixing faucet, working hair dryer, ways to counter very minimalist and too few possibilities, damp towels hanging space.

Breakfast and buffet in the evening in two large rooms constructed. Cleanliness and hygiene were okay. The dining room was overcrowded and we were allocated accordingly noisy. Because the hotel was very good, the tables were furthermore so close together, that it is in between could not move, without other guests to come into contact. quality and quantity the cold and warm meals we had nothing to complain about. Evenings there were always bottles of water on the tables. the kitchen style is typical of the country. You should know, that the hotel to the religion legislation for the preparation of dishes are, as far as the simultaneous consumption of meatand milk products expels. Therefore for breakfast there are no sausageand sausages. But besides bread, jam, honey, cereals, cakes, desserts, fruit, eggs, cheese, Quark and yoghurt lots of hearty dishes at the buffet, the Germany rather for dinner to be served( for example fresh salads, Mayonnaisen salads, fish or gratins). the nightly rate includes soups, an extensive salad bar, fish, meatand sausages with added side dishes ( potatoes, Rice, etc.), but I am well done vegetables too short. Milk products there was evenings not, you desserts, cakes and desserts not points.

access to the internet on 2 computers in the lobby free of charge possible. The service was fast and pleasant. The cleaning of the rooms was perfect. The staff at the front desk was polite, guests should speak English. The barkeeper were accommodating, a hard-working its knowledge of German cobble stoned. The staff in the dining room was too many polite, in fresh fruit unfortunately a bit hesitant refilled. Once I wanted to go into the second dining room fruit to get, but a female supervision with ausgestrecktem poor and pointer finger, as well as perfect-Kommandoton returned. All in all could have been a bit more empathy in the game must.

Well-kept area in the quiet, rural location, a bit secluded. Strikes me as a car essential. The sights take in the region appropriate leisure time

Stayed for 3 days as part of a trip and were pleasantly surprised. The Kibbutzhotel is professionally managed and beautiful on a hillside location, so that one had a beautiful view of the Jordan Valley. All of the staff members were polite and unobtrusive and are available with problems immediately with help and advice. The food was plentiful, fresh and very tasty, but also a Kibbutz you would expect, most of produced locally. It should be noted however that the hotel is right next to the Lebanese border, which may still. But the scenery from outside place made it worth ... it. The hotel has an indoor and an outer pool and bikes for excursions in the surrounding area. read more
