Very convenient Hotel. Check-in and check-out very quickly by machines. Very helpful concierge. Only disturbing is, at the moment, the renovation in a Teilbeeich of the hotel. Our room was on the fourth floor and we had a view of a wall. But be concerned, that the hotel in a higher floor. read more

A hotel building with 20 floors in the downtown Calgary, very convenient. Guests are mostly business travelers. In the entrance area is the reception and concierge, then a bit dark-lit lobby to the 3 different restaurants. "SANDSTONE" (sports bar), "Thomsons" a dark, not very cozy restaurant with some high Trennungswänden and much too loud music in our visit. The hotel has, like the Marriott hotel next door, a direct access to the Congress Center. read more

Standard room, nothing special, good beds. bathroom area was a bit old.

  • Gastronomy
    4.0

We were times for lunch at Sandtone, quite ok, the Thomson's hasn't really convince us, either from the quality by the service. We highly recommend for example. Ruth's Chris steakhouse, downstairs in the television tower. We had a room with use of club lounge, which offer there was good and sufficient, from the "continental breakfast" up to late afternoon snacks. Alcoholic beverages shall be paid however, coffee, etc. at any time is available free of charge.

  • Service

Service was normal, nothing special, with the exception of the concierge who tried very hard.

  • Sport & Entertainment

In the 18th floor provides a pool, a fitness center next door. Spa area, with relatively expensive applications, in 2 . Floor.

The location is without a doubt superb right on the Stephens Avenue, and no more than 5 minutes. From the television tower. Distance from the airport is about half an hour by taxi (about $40 ).

A beautiful hotel in downtown Calgary right next to a pedestrian walking street with lots of restaurants, shopping and a museum. The city LRT is nearby and was very easy to use to get around the city. Beautiful art collection in the hotel and the staff were very friendly and helpful. An amazing SPA and fabulous restaurant in the hotel. read more
